How to trigger an E-mail after saving a Case

Dear all,
We need to trigger an action to send an E-mail after creation and saving a Case in EP.
Please help me how could we configure this in the system.
Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Hi Raghu,
By using he action profile you can trigger the email once you save the transaction.
We have processing types in action profile,
1.Immediate
2.Recurring
3.After saving
In ur case you can after saving the document.
and assign the action profile to the transcation type.

  • CS02 - trigger a mail after saving

    Dear Sapians,
      I come through a requirement in which , i have to trigger a mail to authorized user with detail of changes done in CS02 by unauthorized user.
    I got a BADI 'BOM_UPDATE'  'CHANGE_AT_SAVE'.
    And as per my understanding change detail are in table CDHDR and CDPOS.
    And in above table data is loaded after CS02 is saved.
    So, no detail of recent changes done is reflected in CDHDR and CDPOS .
    So, I am looking for some USER-EXITS or BADI , which help me out in this scenario.
    Scenario is :--
      a).
          When changes are done in CS02 by some UNAUTHORIZED USER, changes has to be verified by AUTHORIZED USER, so change detail has to be send to AUTHORIZED USER.

      You are very correct .
    Sorry for not discussing the whole scenario.
    Actually , If some unauthorized user gas done some changes in CS02  than BOM Status is to be '2',
                    so mail is needed to ask authorized user permission to set BOM status '1'.
    But in the same time , authorized wanna know what changes are done. and changes are recorded in cdhdr and cdpos tables which is updated after after bom is saved not in between.
    That why mail is needed.

    Nope. It means that if you want to schedule something, use code which does scheduling. Like Quartz for example. Bear in mind that the "something" in this case would involve sending an e-mail, but your scheduler wouldn't care about that.

  • How to have a transparent background after saving as a jpeg?

    Hi guys!
    I designed this logo for a couple that are starting their own business. Problem is they never told me that they wanted to print the logo into T-shirt that are a Daisy yellow color. As of now we are trying to find the HTML code for the yellow in the shirts so I can match the background of the logo to the shirt because the problem they are having is that when they print the logo on the shirt it comes out squared and the logo in the middle. The logo its self its oval shaped. As an alternative and probably easier way to solve the problem I'm trying to send them just the logo shape but I've trimmed the excess background to a point where it cannot be trimmed anymore and there still is a white background to it, Probably my explanation its a bit confusing but ultimately I'm trying just to send them the logo with no white background at all. I need help with that. How to save the file and send it so they can open it still with no background color?

    JPG files are not compatible with transparency.  You need to save as GIF or PNG, but make sure the unwanted area shows as the checkerboard in Photoshop before saving.
    It is always a good idea to ask the printer what works best for them.  I suspect there would be specific requirements for printing on material, but we don't know if this going to be screen print, or iron on or what.

    Just put your SUBMIT statement in this include program.

  • Time Machine - how to save work and mail after 'restore to' date

    OK, things have gone seriously wrong on my girlfiends almost new 21" iMac.
    First Excel wouldn't open a week ago, and now Quark won't launch and Word seems to be corrupted.
    Time to go back in time.... (cue wibbly wobbly special effect)
    We reckon it was definitely ok about a month ago. She backed up regularly.
    1- Is there a way to just go back with the apps and OS and leave everything else alone?
    2 - Failing that, she can back up all her recent work, but how to keep the mails in the Outlook mailbox that have been recieved since the 'go back' time?

    No, I haven't lost anything. I have email dating back about seven years and was concerned that the file would become too large and eventually corrupt. I was using Entourage, then switched to Outlook thinking it would allow you to archive into smaller chunks as it does for the PC. Unfortunately it doesn't for the Mac.
    So I was then considering using Mac Mail, but wasn't sure if it would still be just one big file. I have an older version which may have fewer features for archiving. The other problem was I couldn't import directly from Outlook, but was able to save individual folders as .mbox files and import them.
    Mainly I wanted to save all my mail and be able to easily refer back to it.
    After I got everything set up in Mac Mail I discovered that when I started to set up my email accounts (I have about five), they all seemed to have their own inbox. Not what I had in mind.
    So now I have a combination of archived mail on Mac Mail and will use Outlook for my current mail. Kind of ridiculous, but I guess this will work for now.

    I'd like to delete automatically my sent emails after a few weeks (like the trash folder automatically does after 1 month).
    Is there any option to adjust a setting like this? I already searched for it on icloud.com, my ipad and iphone.

    Check Mail/Preferences/Rules to make sure there isn't a rule doing that.

  • How to recover emails from Mail after account is deleted accidentally. All my emails are now gone and i am standing no where. Can any body help me out by recovering my emails.

    After having problem in getting emails from pop server, i thought of removing account and adding it again. Problem was solved but all my previous emails are gone.
    Really needed all my emails back. Tried but could went through. Also purchased once software "EaseUS", no further progress was achieved. It only recovered deleted emails which was of no significance for me.
    Can any one help me out. I have no "Time Machine" active on my mac book pro.

    However, because I modified the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast and nothing changed, I redirected it to another feed and then I deleted this feed.
    Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is  http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
    I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
    I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

    How can we trigger an E-mail automatically after saving a case in enterprise portal?
    for each case type a responsible person is there to handle the complaints, or some times user maintain Employee responsible while creating a case it self.
    now the requirement is after saving the case, system has to trigger an e-mail to the concerned person who is responsible for that case or to the employee responsible, whom user maintained in the case.
    I have tried to create actions in wizard, but not succeed.
    Please help me to resolve the issue, your suggestions and help will be highly appreciated.

    I guess note "[176559 - Interfaces for Business Address Services|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/176559]" can be helpful in this context. BAS is an open interface to react on changes related to the BP-Address.
