How to troubleshoot soap adapters
Hi, all.
I know this question have been asked many times in the forum. However, I haven't found the answer that I need. I'm setting up a simple test scearnio: jdbc -> PI -> web service. The web service is setup with a bapi published as a web service in soamanager. I am able to test the web service from the portal wsnavigator without any issue.
However, when I am trying to call the web service using the soap adapter, nothing happens even though I can see the checkered flag in the sxmb_moni. The RWB also reports no error. Here is the soap receiver adapter config:
target url: http://XXXX:8013/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/bndg_4D9D2ACF4C0913E5E10000000A6430E2/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=XXX
The above url is received from the "Open WSDL document for selected binding" from soamanager. I have also supplied the user/password in the adapter configuration. The option "Do not use soap envelop" is selected as I don't think the soamanager service has a soap envelop. The "soap action" is left blank.
Please advise if I have done something wrong. I have added a breakpoint on the bapi and nothing happens. So I don't believe the web service in soamanager is ever called.
Thanks,
John.
Hi, Horia.
This is what I am doing now. In the soap adapter url, if I use the link in "Open WSDL document for selected binding", everything is fine in RWB and sxmb_moni. But nothing happens on soamanager. If I use the url from "Calculated Access URL" under transport settings on soamanager, I do get an error from the soamanager trace. The error is the following:
A SOAP Runtime Core Exception occurred in method get_http_headers of class CL_SOAP_HTTP_TPBND_ROOT at position id 3 with internal error id 1007 and error text SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 200 : OK") (fault location is 1 ).
Note that the 2 url's are not the same. But then I haven't found a way to resolve the runtime error above. Also, I don't know which url should I use in the soap adapter.
Thanks,
Jonathan.

How to Troubleshoot iTunes 10.6 Download Failure in Firefox 14.0.1 ??
posted Thursday, 02 August 2012 at 07:43AM PDT, by Matthew B. | @QHereKidSF
SIMPLY-PUT !!
I am desperate to know of any possible workaround solutions that might resolve inexplicable failure(s) to download iTunes 10.6 (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/) in Mozilla Firefox 14.0.1 Browser for Windows 7 (64-bit) OS...!!
FURTHER DETAILED !!
In an aimlessly ill-informed effort to troubleshoot the "Please install Apple Application Support" ERROR Message reported subsequent to my numerous attempts to "repair/install" the most recent and otherwise previously up-to-date versions of Apple QuickTime & iTunes on my HP Pavilion dv4 Entertainment Notebook PC, running on the Windows 7 (64-bit) OS... I mistakenly (perhaps?) thought it wise to attempt to execute a complete uninstall/reinstall of both QuickTime & iTunes. Oops... YIKES !!
Somewhere along the knotty entangled threads of my most circuitous web-research, as I browsed for information and instructional resources regarding proper procedure for (re)-installing Apple Application Support (amongst other peripheral software programs provided by Apple, Inc. as integral technical components essential to seamless & successful installation, application and operation of the most current/up-to-date versions of Apple QuickTime & Apple iTunes), I seem to recall reading explicit suggestions from well-rated community support contributors to proceed with the aforementioned course of action...
Unfortunately, now that I no longer have either Apple QuickTime or iTunes currently installed on my Win7OS HP Pavilion Notebook PC, I continue consistently to fail at initializing either a functional download or installation solely of iTunes 10.6 -- so far!!
When I link to the Apple iTunes 10.6 Download URL (listed herein, above!) and click the (blue) DOWNLOAD NOW Button located near mid-center of the left-sidebar in the presumably appropriate/correct browser tab window (fully framed and immediately visible in maximized view, on my screen), what seems then to occur is pretty much what one could only image/explain &/or describe as "zip/zilch, nothing/nada, absolute silence, stillness: a blatantly obvious failure to initiate functional download of anything at all, whatsoever...!!"
Not a single hint of code or even a mere bleep/beep/blink/blip in my Win7OS or HP Pavilion Monitor Display appears before for me; ultimately, suggesting without any real certainty whatsoever that a download of the iTunes 10.6 Software Installation Package has perhaps initialized, successfully...!!?
WHAT TO DO? What to do? ...ARGGHHH !!
I am desperate to find a workaround solution with which to troubleshoot and ideally resolve these persistent difficulties I continue to encounter when attempting to download iTunes 10.6 via Mozilla Firefox 14.0.1 on the Win7OS (64-bit) of my HP Pavilion dv4 Entertainment Notebook PC!!
Might there possibly be anyone -- anyone, at all!! -- out there, somewhere amidst the knotty entangled nets broadly cast far'cross the endlessly great and expansive waves of this worldwide cyberspace we share, who perhaps would know of a proper workaround fix with which I might troubleshoot my current web-computing technology crisis??
If indeed so, please do come diving face-first forward toward me... with any decent amount of valuably trustworthy information, instruction, advice, guidance, support or even encouragement that you might be readily willing and able to provide!! Please, please...!!?
Any worthwhile, effective assistance that's provided to me (in as short an order as possible) would be most sincerely appreciated & acknowledged widely across the web by me... with resounding cries of humble recognition, admiration, and deeply indebted gratitude!! At least, that's only as much as I can so far surmise to guarantee, at this point -- thus far and so moving forward!!
Yes, indeed...!! That's a promise which I intend to keep; should all issues be resolved well much for and in my favor, as well as much, much sooner rather than far-too much later -- hopefully, even by the end of the coming day; one might say... *sigh* Hehe. WINK/GRIN...
Boy o'boy, now... That sure would delight me to the nth-infinite degree, indeed! "As heck a'heaven-high: FOR SURE!!" I dare say...

How to troubleshoot approval workflow of a rejected purchase order
Hi,
We are working in oracle applications 11i.
I have a purchase order with status rejected that has hanged up in the system. The user rejected PO and the document has not been transferred to the PO buyer. From the application forms -> Forward documents window, I can see that neither the user who rejected or the buyer has the document.
From System Administrator responsibility I can see that the workflow administrator can modify a PO that is only IN PROCESS,
what shall I do?please check :

We have gateway.domain.org as our external/internal gateway server.
It goes from gateway.domain.org to rdbroker.domain.local, rdbroker is the DNS address for two connection broker servers.
After this it should set up the connection and create a remote desktop to one of the RDS host servers in the RDS host farm.
Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't -- for different user accounts and different computers.
How to troubleshoot this??
We know the firewall rules for DMZ etc. etc. are properly configured because everything IS observed to work, just not all the time consistently. We get errors about cannot contact the computer, cannot establish remote desktop connection...
Thank you, TomHi Tom,
Firstly, you need to recheck the DNS entry is well setup for your case. Are you using DNS RR for Load balancing the server or 3rd party load balancer? Have you setup the proper certificate for your case?
Please check whether required ports is opened? We need to open TCP port 443 and UDP port 3391 and forward them to your RD Gateway server. Also need to specify the external FQDN of your RD Gateway server in deployment properties under RDS server manager. If
you have RDWeb and RDG on the same server this would be the same FQDN that your users will use for RDWeb. Please see whether you have properly configured RD RAP and RD CAP policy.
You can go through beneath article for more details.

I have a 3th Gen Apple TV and a late 2012 mac mini with IOS 10.8.3
- Connected thru HDMI to an ASUS monitor
- Apple tv connected with wire
- Mac Mini connected wireless.
- I can see the Airplay icon on the screen
- I can select my apple TV on the icon pull-down menu (first time it asked me for apple TV password)
- Once selected, my monitor resolution changes and apple TV goes to a blank screen. On the pull-down menu, my apple TV papears selected and the option "match desktop size to:" is selected for my Apple TV.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?
Additional Info:
- I can stream from iTunes music with no problem
- From an Air (on same wireless network) I can mirror my display. And form iPad and iPhone I can stream video and music.Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

How to use Soap with Netweaver?
Hi,
I am new to SAP Netweaver, I was wondering how to use SOAP messaging with SAP Netweaver?
Thanks
FalakI want to secure the message between my web service and a Automated activity in SAP Netweaver BPM (Process
development). I think in this case the usage of of SOAP adapter may not be useful.
Security parameters (settings) can be defined for Sender SOAP Adapter (as in your case it is)......to know more check this help section: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/EN/fc/5ad93f130f9215e10000000a155106/content.htm

If I touch camera icon, the screen turns black instead of capturing image. Let me know how to troubleshoot?
Try closing the Camera app:
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal the Task Bar
2. Hold down the Camera app for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Tap area above Task Bar to return to Home screen
If the above doesn't solve the problem, do a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider -
How to install Soap on the (Apache) Oracle HTTP Server
Hi,
Does anyone know how to install SOAP on the Oracle HTTP Server? I downloaded a soap version (it seems that the standard version comes without SOAP) from the xml.apache.org site and followed the installation instructions as far as I could (only Tomcat is described). However, no 'soaping'!!! Maybe I'm overlooking something because I cannot imagine that it should be difficult.
Thanks in advance!
HansHans, the SOAP implementation is part of OC4J. You get it out of the box. Check out how to use the out-of-the-box implementation in the tutorials on Web services with Oracle9i JDeveloper at:
http://otn.oracle.com/tech/webservices/htdocs/series/content.html
These tutorials/samples use the implementation of SOAP/WSDL that Oracle calls J2EE Web Services and this is the long term direction of Oracle's Web services implementation. This implementation is what Oracle will be evolving to Sun's Java Web Services Developer Pack as it finalizes into J2EE 1.4.
If you want to use Oracle/Apache SOAP, this too is included in OC4J but its support is being deprecated in future releases of Oracle9iAS in favour of the J2EE Web Services implementation. To find it, check out the OC4J/soap/webapps/ directory for the soap.ear file (it is in a slightly different spot if you are using the full Oracle9iAS R2 but still within the soap directory structure. Simply add <application name="soap" path="../../../soap/webapps/soap.ear" auto-start="true"/> to your OC4J server.xml and <web-app application="soap" name="soap" root="/soap" /> to your OC4J http-web-site.xml, re-start and away you go.
Finally, just to be sure, SOAP support in Oracle9iAS did not appear until 1.0.2.2.x and higher. If using 1.0.2.1 or less, you are correct, there is no SOAP support.
Mike.
Most folks that try out the J2EE Web Services find it is pretty easy to use so -

instead of
x_result = http_client->response->to_xstring( ).

In http & soap adapters, which one gives u the better performance. For web services wecan use both http & soap adapters,so in which case u use soap adapter and in which case u use http adapter
Tummala,
I would suggest to go with HTTP adapter when compared with SOAP adapter because HTTP adapter directly runs on Integration Engine. Whereas the SOAP adapter runs on the Adapter Engine. So it will take more time when compared to HTTP. Also HTTP is good in performance to SOAP. Unless the business requirements needed we can go with HTTP when compared with SOAP. This are my views on this two adapters.

SIGSEGV (0xb) - How to troubleshoot?
We are trying to identify what is causing segmentation fault and particularly how to troubleshoot it?
The following exception is thrown on our server when under stress, which kills all running java processes.
# SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x0000000000000038, pid=3082, tid=140191058470656
# JRE version: 6.0_24-b07

# Problematic frame:
# C 0x0000000000000038
Full error log at
http://pastebin.com/VzDfenY5
We are running on 64bit ubuntu linux with java 6 update 24, the same issue occurs on similar spec.'d machine running on java 6 update 22.
Any help appreciated. With this SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) error we were able to troubleshoot by debugging the code referenced in "Java frames:" subsection under THREAD section.
Therefore looking at Java frames: (J=compiled Java code, j=interpreted, Vv=VM code)
j java.lang.Thread.start0()V+0
j java.lang.Thread.start()V+32
j org.trippi.io.RIOTripleIterator.<init>(Ljava/io/InputStream;Lorg/openrdf/rio/RDFParser;Ljava/lang/String;)V+116
j org.trippi.TripleIterator.fromStream(Ljava/io/InputStream;Ljava/lang/String;Lorg/trippi/RDFFormat;)Lorg/trippi/TripleIterator;+98
Code suggests the exception was thrown while trying to create a new thread, within the org.trippi.io.RIOTripleIterator. The code here was re-factored to use thread pooling instead of creating new threads each time, see here https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/FCREPO-873 for more info. This helped reduced the SIGSEGV errors significantly although not completely.
