I must have clicked on something unintentionally... When I open this one CS6 file, automatically an additional copy appears on the screen too. It only does it to this one file.

You could set one window to outline mode and the one to preview mode and then don't need to switch the view when tracing an image. Or work in detail in one window and see the complete image in the other.

The hinge on my Mab Book Pro is a little warped or something and when I close the lid it won't stay asleep, it keeps re awaking every 30 seconds or so. So how do I turn this off? Can't find that settings page.

1) copy "sudo pmset -a lidwake 0" (without the quotation marks) from this post
2) Start up Terminal (in your Utilities folder)
3) Paste "sudo pmset -a lidwake 0" (without the quotation marks) at the grey prompt mark and hit return
4) Enter your Mac account admin password if requested (it won't appear on screen as you type) and hit return
If you wish to make sure it has changed use "sudo pmset -g" in the same fashion. It should produce a result which will include the line that "lidwake 0"
That's it!
The new setting will stay in place until you deliberately change it back. To do this use "sudo pmset -a lidwake 1"

But to Stop Launch when your apple device is connected, 1. connect your iPhoneto your computer, 2.Go to the Summary Page, 3. uncheck the box "Open iTunes when this iPhone is connected" and then your good for that device.

You have two choices. You can choose that your applications not resume their previous state when you shutdown or restart the Mac by deselecting the checkbox that appears prior to shutdown:

At this time I don't think there is a way to turn it off. the software will learn new words and shortcuts you use when typing as you go. To do this type in the word/phrase and then hit the x when the suggested word pops up or tap on the word to keep what you have. Then hit the space bar and type away, it should have added that word to its dictionary and if you type it again it shouldn't offer up a new word instead.

On windows systems you can use the three fingered salute (ctrl-alt-delete) to bring up the task manager. Click on the processes tab. Look through the list for photoshop CS6. Right click on it and select end process or you can just click on it and press the end process button at the bottom of the dialog box.
If it is not listed then it is not running.

Whenever I try to move music from itunes to my ipad mini it says it is over memory. I can see the music on the ipad but it is grey and will not play. I have tried to delete apps (which are taking up most of my memory) I do not want but it keeps putting them back on. I have turned off the 'sync automatically' button on the preferences and devices in itunes. I have unclicked the 'will install' on the apps section on itunes. I have synced repeatidly and whenever I click the sync button the things I have just clicked on suddenly become 'will install' again.

Does anyone know how to turn off the code assist feature where CFBuilder tries to assist you by listing all the variables on the page? I have a CFC with over 3000 lines and it causes CFBuilder to hang/freeze like you wouldn't believe. I'd like to turn off this feature for large files (or at least see if I can tune the feature to be smarter about what variables it suggests).

So far I have experienced noticeably faster response times. However, the program still hangs when trying to suggest variable names. It would be great if there was a way just to disable that feature until Adobe fixes it.

I look at the screen and it was turning off and on automatically, it's been doing so for 3hrs and I don't know what to do. I've already tried to turn it off and it won't even turn off.
