How to turn OFF the email pop-ups? iPad 2, iOS 7.0.3, MSN EM ?

When using any app, any screen, my new MSN emails "pop-up" in the center of the screen, overwriting the current page. Pop-up has 2 options : DISMISS and READ.
I WANT THIS FUNCTION TURNED OFF !
Is this a result of upgrading to iOS 7 ? Can it be turned off ?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Thanks Nancy. Unfortunately that doesn't do it. I turned those off awhile back. Nor can I find anything under VIEW that seems to make a difference. Just FYI: I'm on a Mac OS w/Dreamweaver CS6 - but this has happened on previous versions of DW. Thanks again.

When I go to my safari settings I cannot turn off my "Block Pop-ups for a site. It is stuck in the on position.

I have certain websites that use popups that I need to be able to use. When I go to Safari settings I cannot turn of the "block pop ups" setting. It is grayed out and only in the on postion.

You will need to have the hold switch replaced.

miniDisplay to HDMI : How to turn off the Dual Monitor output when the adapter is attached and the TV is off ? And will keeping the adapter connected even if it is not in use, cause damage to the adapter ?

I have my external monitor/tv setup of the left. If I leave the adapter attached with the TV off, I am still able to cross the border/boundry of my MBP screen ! As instead of detecting a TV, the MBP is detecting the adapter as a screen. I do not want to damage my thunderbolt/miniDisplay port by plugging and unpluggin the unit each and every time.
