How to turn on Voice Tag

Hello All,
I have recently brought Nokia 5610. In some phones (not 5610) I have seen that voice tag is played when call is received. Im not able to find such functionality in my 5610 .
Please Help.

I think you control this via your profile.
Goto Tools > Profiles > Normal (profile)
Select > Modify
First is ringtone, tone for video call and the 3rd option is "Say caller name" Yes/No.
This is at least the setup on my N80.
Let me know if this solves your problem

  • How to turn off Voice tags in Nokia 5310 when conn...

Now i've got my new Nokia 5310 xpress music,
Does anyone know how to turn off the voice tags when connected to a bluetooth headset?
I've problem when put bluetooth in my pocket and not intend to push the button so the phone will dial to anyone that I won't to talk to.

lock the keypad on the phone and make sure automatic lock of the keypad is working, this should do the trick, pressing and holding the button on the bluetooth headset will prompt for the voice tag of course

  • 6300 - how do i turn off voice tags - SO ANNOYING

Now i've got my new Nokia 6300, (of which i must say is NOWHERE near as good as the 6230i & REALLY regret buying this phone).
Anyway, does anyone know how to turn off the voice tags when connected to a bluetooth headset?

You guys must have a very different 6300 than I do. Although it is not perfect in every way, I simply love mine. I find it to be incredibly refined with very few flaws. Of course I am running the latest version of the firmware (v.5.5) and mine is unbranded. I think that might make a difference, especially if you are running an early buggy firmware version. Also, I don't use the voice dialing function at all so I can't comment on that. It is true that many people have reported problems with that function, however, I haven't had any need to turn it off or deactivate it.
Of course it would be better if the phone had more internal memory but I haven't found that to be much of a problem since one can expand the memory up to 2 gigs with micro SD cards. The 6230i's expandability I believe is limited to 512 meg if I recall correctly and its screen is pretty bad to put it mildly. Anyway, I simply store and move most apps and everything else I can over to the card memory, thereby freeing up as much internal phone memory as possible which leaves me with over 3 megs free internal phone memory. Hasn't caused me any inconvenience yet, although I imagine if I tried to transfer a file larger than 3 megs via bluetooth to the phone, that might not be possible. I don't see that as being a major problem though.
There are so many things that are new, different and BETTER on this phone compared to older phones (even the 6233 which is not that old), that I really love. For example, the fabulous display that displays 16 million colors and about 14 lines of very sharp text in Opera Mini, and that doesn't turn off too quickly and can be read when the back light is off; the cool flashing notification lights that alert you to unread messages, missed calls, voice mails, unviewed reminders, etc; the way the radio auto tunes itself to available stations; the ability to have flashlite animated wallpaper and screensavers which allows for the display of some great stuff, for example, a variety of nice large animated clock wallpapers (available for free download from the web); the way almost every menu and function is so much more refined than on previous phones; the solid stainless steel case and slim form factor; the overall great build quality (except for the rattling power on switch, which is a very minor issue); the standard mini USB connector, (instead of the horrible proprietary pop port); and I'm sure I could think of more things but these are just some of the things that occur to me quickly.
Try browsing the web with Opera Mini 4 beta 3 on the 6300. It is just amazing what that little screen can do.
    Currently using 6300 & 6233 (backup)

If you press and hold the right soft key at the standby screen the handset will ask you to "Speak now".

  • How to turn of HTML tags in Email Messages?

My BB8830 World Edition on Verizon continues to show full html tags - e.g. <http://www.oracle.com/dm/global/opn.gif> - instead of just the link, which makes any email with links extremely difficult to read as the full html tags display in the middle of a sentence or para.
Any idea how to turn this off?

You'll have to wait for Verizon to release OS 4.5 for your device.  Once you upgrade your device, you will be able to view HTML email.
There are also third party packages (that you'd have to pay for) available to read HTML email, but the OS should be available within the next few months.  Then again it is Verizon, and they tend to drag their heels on updates, so....

  • How to turn off voice control with iPhone 5s with iOS 8

I Dropped my phone in the tub, I have an otterbox on it but it didn't do the phone any good :/. I dried it off and the home button started acting up. And now it doesnt work when i hit it. But the Touch ID still works. However randomly voice control will pop up and call random people when i don't even touch it. I tried going into restrictions > Siri and turning it off I turned off voice

Otterbox cases are not waterproof and are not advertised to be so. For that, you need a Lifeproof case or similar.
If you turn off Siri, Voice Control is enabled. The only way to turn off Voice Control is to turn Siri back on. Your phone has been damaged by immersion in liquid and may never work properly again. Sorry.

  • How to turn off face tagging? N9 1.2

Hi, I updated to 1.2 and the device feels a bit sluggish. Like a soft lag over the whole interface and it takes a several seconds to open a simple app like Messages, clock, gallery etc..
I read in another forum that someone had the same issue and he solved it by switching off face recognition tags(the question mark in photos on the peoples face).
I cant find that option anywhere. Not in Gallery, not in camera menus, and I cant find it in Settings.
Does anybody knows where is it?
When booting first time after the update the phone asks if you want to use the feature, and I clicked yes and now I cant turn it off.

  • How to turn of voice roaming in iOS5?

I saw many images of iOS 5 Beta that had an option to disable Voice Roaming similar to the Data Roaming option.  Now iOS 5 is out, I can't find this feature.  I'm after both making sure I don't change carriers to the US when near the boarder, but also it would be nice to not have the phone respond the same if I'm not in my City Fido "home" zone.  Is there a way to make the phone either disable or at least indicate when it's not in it's local area?

  • Nokia N73 Voice tags, how?

Help can anybody tell me how to assign a voice tag to a contact No.! Sounds a simple request but I cannot find how to do this in the manual HELP!!!!

If you read the earlier posts in this thread you would know that voice tags cannot be assigned on the N73. You have to train the Voice Commands utility to recognise your voice and the performance will improve over time.

  • How to turn off the voicemail?

Hi,  Can anyone please guide me how to turn the voice mail off. I tried 1760 / 1750 and all the numbers o2 customer servise agents asked me to....but none of them worked. I been speaking to O2 customer services from over a month now but apparently they have no solutions. Will you please help me to turn voicemail off from my iphone 4? Thank You So Much  M Khan

Hi Community Members This voicemail stoppage has really proved to be something that doesn't want to leave my phone, I found! Thanks for all the replies here because I think it is now turned off (yet to test it has well and truly gone so can't say for sure) Tonight I went into the TuGo app settings and found there's a voicemail off or on switch! (This is if you've got version 2.18.0  installed. Installed mine Jul 2015)  Mine was set to ON and now switched to off!

  • Can you turn off the voice tags when someone rings...

I think the subject says it all, but here's the story - My girlfriend's sister has an E71, and a ringtone she really likes.  She wants to be able to hear the ringtone without interruption when people call, but for all my poking about in the menu and settings I can't find a way to turn off the voice tag that announces the name of the person ringing.  The tags are somewhat annoying anyway because they don't tend to read Irish names very well 'Grainne' being pronounced as 'grain' and such.
Can those tags be disabled?  If they can, how?
    Thanks.

also dont forget to activate the profile your using once this is done or it will revert to default
