How to :Two Itunes locations sync without copying each album by itself

I travel frequently and long periods, and I take my Windows Vista Laptop with me with my Itunes Library. I often buy music that loads on my Laptop PC Itunes. When I get home, I would like to transfer the Library to my home Mac Mini Library, but sometimes I can not remember what was purchased or transfered already unless I go through a long winded search.
I need to know of a way to keep my two libraries synced/ updated with the correct music, playlists and info with out manually sitting every time figuring out how to do it.
I am sure there must be an easy way too do this, and I need to find out urgently, as I am spending way to much time to try and figure this out every time I get home, where I could do other things. My wife wants to sync her Ipod and load the same music as me.
Please assist!

Thunderbird simply does not support the sending of mail from Third party applications. only the creation. This is a security feature that stops a virus spamming your address book.
If you want automation, use windows live mail.

How to trigger Bookmarks (Safari) syncing without the need to merge??

I found that my bookmarks were out of sync on my home Mac (although iCloud was active), after I did some sorting and cleaning on the office Mac. Since I found no other way (wait or reboot did not help), I did deactivate and then re-activate bookmarks syncing in Preferences => iCloud => Safari. This DID trigger syncing, BUT (after I was offered the option to cancel or to merge) the result was that now the sorting and cleaning work I did before was lost. In fact, it was worse because of the merge in two directions.
So the question is:
What can one do to force syncing in a way that avoids the merge?
It is really stupid that there is no option (like with MobileMe) to select the sync direction. Or did I miss that?

OK, you are correct, but this is only due to the phrasing of my last comment and not because of the quality of iCloud syncing. MobileMe was MUCH better in this respect! It DID offer the option to overwrite the data WITHOUT the need to manually delete before.
In addition, this was not the core point.
The main point is that iCloud for (at least to me) unknown reasons did stop performing its job for the bookmarks that were synced before.
I would like to know if there is an option to trigger syncing, without the need to delete manually, and then switch of and on again.
Again, the question is:
What can one do to force syncing in a way that avoids the merge?

Dear Creative Clouders, Is it possible to sync files from other folders (without copying to Creative Cloud Files folder). I tried to use symbolic links on Mac, but it does not seem to work.

No. The iTunes content sync is one way: Computer to Phone. For purchased content on your phone, not in your iTunes library: iTunes running, phone connected, File>Transfer Purchases. From there, select what content you want on your phone & sync.

How can I combine two iTunes media folders without losing media?

I have two media folders. One on an external drive that I used on an old PC before migrating to a new one, and my internal HDD on the new PC. My internal drive became nearly full so I had to start using my external drive and iTunes media folder again. So, right now iTunes looks to my internal drive for most of the media and my external drive for some of it. Now, I need to move all the media files back to the external drive and, hopefully, in one place. The primary challenge is that I don't know how to move the media files (and metadata) efficiently. I just don't know which folders have been affected and so a standard copy -> paste won't work because the PC will try to overwrite the folders and I have no idea which ones can be overwritten and which can't. Ugh...does this make sense? Thank you!!!

You can indeed switch between two different iTunes libraries, and this article outlines how:
iTunes: How to open an alternate iTunes Library file or create a new one
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you're using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu, choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
If you're using a Mac, open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option key.

I'm sure you know that when you sync your iPhone to your computer, it automatically replaces the songs on your iPhone with the ones on your computer. It is important to sync your purchases to your computer on a regular basis, so that if you do lose them from your iPhone, they will be on your computer's hard drive and you will be able to retrieve them, if needed, the next time you sync. Purchases made on your device are not automatically saved to your computer. Your device has to be physically plugged in after purchasing.
Since it automatically replaces the songs on your iPhone with the ones on your computer, this could effectively erase any songs downloaded on your iPhone that haven't been backed up. I highly recommend checking out this article for future transfers:

Well that's basically my question. I want to keep all the songs that are already there, but from this point on just add new ones manually. When I unchecked the Sync box it wiped out my iPod. Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to turn off automatic sync before you delete all your tracks from iTunes. If you don't, then you need to prevent the iPod from synching when you connect:
While connecting the iPod to the computer, hold down the Command and Option keys on a Mac. This should stop the iPod from auto synching with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 3 and 25 seconds depending on your computer. Then you can set iTunes to manual synchronization.
Of course, this won't help if your iPod has already had the tracks removed. But you'll know what to do next time.

I have 150 gig of music and only 25 gig free on my macbook, so I'd like to put it all on my ipod without putting it on my computer, as there isn't enough memory.
