How to un-minimize the Yahoo toolbar?

I opened Firefox this morning as usual, and my Yahoo tool bar is minimized. I cannot figure out how to open it back up. I have already tried uninstalling the toolbar and installing it again. Nothing seems to work. How do I view my personal tabs and toolbar buttons on my Yahoo toolbar for Firefox? The toolbar appears to have been minimized.

Great suggestion, but still not working. I can see my Yahoo toolbar search window. Normally, next to that, is my list of personal application buttons. All my buttons are missing, invisible or minimized. All I see is a silver gear-looking button that says "refresh toolbar." When clicked, nothing happens.

  • How can I remove the Yahoo toolbar?

    I just upgraded to Firefox 4 and I would like to remove the yahoo toolbar because its just a waist of space any help would be appreciated thanks.

    I found this online and I hope it helps
    There are two ways to remove the Yahoo! Toolbar for Mozilla Firefox.
    The easiest way is to use the "Uninstall" menu item:
    Click the Pencil menu.
    Click "Uninstall".
    Enter any feedback you'd like to send to Yahoo! about why you're uninstalling the toolbar.
    Click "Uninstall".
    Restart your browser.
    If that doesn't work, you can also use the Extension Manager in Firefox to remove the Yahoo! Toolbar extension:
    Click the "Tools" menu in the Firefox browser.
    Click the "Extensions" menu item.
    In the Extensions Manager window scroll until you find the Yahoo! Toolbar extension.
    Click the Yahoo! Toolbar extension.
    Click "Uninstall".
    Click "OK" in the "Uninstall Yahoo! Toolbar" window.
    Exit Extensions Manager and restart your browser.
    Either one of these methods will uninstall Yahoo! Toolbar from your browser. If neither works, your user profile is corrupt. You might need to create a new user profile for your browser.

  • How can I find the yahoo toolbar which contains "identity safe" which contains all of my passwords?

    I can't find the yahoo toolbar which included identity safe, where all my automatic passwords were located.

    While Finder is active, press Command-F (Find in the File menu).
    In that window you can set search criteria. In the second sub-toolbar should be a couple of buttons representing pulldown menus; by default, the first usually shows "kind". Click that one.
    In the menu that opens, if "Size" or "File Size" is not available, select "Other". Then in the new window select "Size" or "File Size" and okay the window. From then on that choice will be available in the first pulldown menu.
    You can use that to search your drive.
    Note - by clicking the "+" button at the far right of the strip containing the pulldown menus, you can add additional search criteria, thus restricting a search to exactly what you want.

  • How do I install the yahoo toolbar with shortcut keys to firefox 5.0? Says its not supported

    Firefox said it was time to update, so I did, and it gave me firefox 5.0. I had to uninstall a lot of my add-ons as they were not compatible with the new 5.0 version, including my yahoo toolbar with shortcut keys, and my favorite add-on. I have lost all my shortcuts on my yahoo toolbar, and all my favorites. When will these add-ons be updated to work with 5.0 or what can I do to downgrade to 4.0 so my internet/computer will function properly again?

    You can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Compatibility Reporter add-on] to re-enable your other add-ons to see if they work in Firefox 5.

  • When I installed Firefox 4, I somehow also received the Yahoo toolbar. How do I uninstall the Yahoo toolbar and get the Firefox toolbar instead?

    I installed Firefox 4 approximately 2-3 weeks ago.

    Additional information:
    I ran across this same problem once before when I upgrade to Firefox 3.x with one of the add-ons, but I can't remember how I was able to resolve it, if I ever did. The Firefox programmers should put in the option that when an upgrade to Firefox fines an incompatible add-on that it can be either updated to one that is compatible or it can be removed before the Firefox upgrade proceeds. I consider this to be a serious bug in Firefox.

  • I want to add the Yahoo toolbar that is already on my computer with Internet Explorer. Is there a way to import it? I went to "add a toolbar" but that did nothing.

    Nothing much else to say; what I wrote is self-explanatory. I have the Yahoo toolbar on my computer and have used it for a long, long time with Internet Explorer. I have downloaded Firefox though because the upgraded Explorer is giving me fits and keeps freezing the page. So how can I put the Yahoo toolbar on the Firefox page to use? Can I import it or do I need to reinstall it?

    Firefox needs a different toolbar than IE, so you need to install the Yahoo! Toolbar for Firefox.

  • Can someone tell me the steps to get rid of the Yahoo toolbar. I have gmail and the right homepage , and when I updatede Firefox I said I didn't want the Yahoo toolbar, but it is there anyway and I don't know how to get rid of it.

    I just want to get rid of the **** Yahoo toolbar! If not, I want to go back to the previous version of Firefox. Can someone help me with the steps to do either one of these, Please!!!

    I just figured out how to remove it. Go to the Tools menu and select add-ons. Click on extensions, locate Yahoo Toolbar in the list, and off to the right, you can click on "Disable" or "Remove." I disabled, restarted Firefox 4.0, and bingo, no annoying Yahoo toolbar. Hope this helps!

  • I cannot remove the Yahoo toolbar. it does not appear as an add on

    I have the latest version of Firefox (33.1). I want to remove the yahoo toolbar and disable the yahoo seach function from the address bar (and replace it with google). But when I go to add ons, there is no yahoo in either the plug ins or extebsions. So I cannot delete/remove. What should I do
    Thanks

    It might just be that your search bar (the bar to the right of the address bar) is set to Yahoo, try changing it back to Google. To do that, on the search bar click the icon or the down triangle to display the list of search engines, and select Google from that list.
    If that doesn't fix your problems, did you download Firefox from the official Mozilla site? Sometimes if you search on Google or any search provider, they sometimes have "Advertised links" which are sometimes Firefox bundles that have been slightly modified/shipped with malicious software.
    * https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
    * https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
    If you did download from a different website and believe that to be the cause, you can report the link here:
    * https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/legal/fraud-report/
    Check your list of install programs in Windows - Control Panel > Programs and Features. Usually malware comes bundled with other applications, so if you sort by date and see several applications installed at the same day, it may be easier to find suspicious applications that way.
    You can try the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/ Search Reset Tool]. It is an extension that will reset your home page, new tab and search settings back to the default then uninstall itself. If you find that its changes are being undone, please see the article [[How to fix preferences that won't save]].
    If none of the above work, and you don't have too many extensions, you can also try the Reset Firefox feature which can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information. '''Note:''' After resetting Firefox, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]] article for more information.

  • I want to remove windows explorer 7 and the Yahoo toolbar, if this cannot be done I will find another browser!

    I think this is pretty basic. Your browser has always been user friendly and allowed a high level of personalization. I don't like Yahoo toolbar thinking for me. I don't like the intrusive windows explorer 7. I am disturbed that you choose to base your system on this parasite. You have sold us out!
    Looking for a new browser!

    You can remove the Yahoo Toolbar. It probably got installed as an "optional" item when you installed some other software from the internet, maybe because you did not un-check the option to install that extra item.
    *http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons
    *http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Cannot%20uninstall%20an%20add-on
    If by saying '''''"remove windows explorer 7"''''', are you referring to '''Internet Explorer 7'''? How do you plan to keep Windows up to date? The Windows/Microsoft update site requires Internet Explorer on your system to use the site.
    As for:
    *'''''"I am disturbed that you choose to base your system on this parasite. You have sold us out! Looking for a new browser!"'''''
    Firefox is not related to or based on Internet Explorer or any other browser. What ever gave to that idea?
    Why are you using such an old version of Firefox? Your version is 3.5.7 which is no longer supported and no longer being updated, even for security related issues.

  • I need to add the Yahoo Toolbar

    I need to find out how to install the Yahoo Toolbar, so that I can use it's buttons. I had it installed in Internet Explorer, but it does not show up in firefox?

    If Firefox was able to load and activate the Roboform extension, then you should be able to turn on the toolbar using one of these methods:
    * right-click a blank area of the tab bar, then click on Roboform
    * right-click the "+" button on the tab bar, then click on Roboform
    * "3-bar" menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars > Roboform
    * (classic menu bar) View menu > Toolbars > Roboform
    If Roboform does not appear on the available toolbar list, could you check to confirm that it is enabled on the Add-ons page? Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
    In the left column, click Extensions. In the list on the right, the disabled extensions are at the bottom of the list.
