How to un-mute regions

Hi,
Working in Logic Express v.7.2.3 - Everything in my song was playing fine - must have accidentally hit something which muted all regions in an Audio Track I had laid down - now all the regions in that track are greyed-back and act as if they are muted EXCEPT they still show up in the AUDIO window and will still play if auditioned there - How do I un-mute them in the arrange window so they will play again? (all mute buttons in track and channel strip appear to be off) .....thanks!

I've been advised that I must have accidentally hit the 'M' key - solution= select all greyed-back regions and hit 'M' key again to restore

You can use a jQuery dialog.

e.g. create html region, just say you give the region static id: floating-region, make it hidden by adding attributes: style="display: none;"then do like: $('#floating-region).dialog();

Note that this code specifically disables only application arrays. Disabled items are not available after submission (and hence are different from readonly) . But any page javascript can modify disabled or readonly items(client side), so you must check at the server side to validate the data.

Turn the input volumn down all the way for the Mic. You do that in the Sound Applet In System Preferences.

First you have to cut the track. Position the crosshair at the bigging of the region you want to remove and type ⌘T to split the track, do the same for the end of the region. Then double click the region and type delete ← to remove it.

there is a very annoying group chat that I am in, and don't want to hurt the people's feelings by telling them I want out. Someone once told me that I could ""mute"" the group chat, but never told me how because I didn't need it. So how do you mute a group chat?

You can:
- block individual senders (iOS 7 only),
- turn off Messages altogether
- Uncheck the email address that the group is using to send them to you (Settings>Messages>Send and Receive)

How can I mute the sound from the caller on facetime? I can mute my microphone so they can't hear me, but I can't mute the sound coming from their side.
In order to do this, I have to ask them to mute their microphone.
This is very annoying. Sometimes, I need to monitor the other caller visually but do not need the sounds from their environment pouring out of my iPad speakers. My sound level will go down to 1 bar but will not mute.
As soon as facetime is off, my iPad will mute (clicking the volume buttons on the side). If I facetime again, with my iPad on mute, it automatically comes off mute and the lowest the sound will go down to is 1 bar.
Is this by design or is it a fault?

How do you mute using the nokia headset for N97

When using the nokia provided headset with the N97, how can you mute the call. I see there is a slider button on the side of the control unit, but I have tried using this to no avail. to mute i have continued ot use the phone controls, which almost negates the point of using a headset in the first place.

I do not know how to mute it using the headset, but AFAIK the slider button on the headset was to keypad lock the headset control piece.

There have been a few recent posts, where Audio Mixer settings are not "held," in PrE 11. Those cited problems seem to be Project-specific, in that Audio Mixer works, as expected, in a new Project - just not the one, causing issues.
I do not know if there is a glitch/Bug in Audio Mixer, or if the users are doing something that is "disconnecting" Audio Mixer in some way.
As a test, create a New Project, Import a Video file with Audio (Muxed Video Stream and Audio Stream), and test Audio Mixer, and the Mute function there. How does Audio Mixer work in that Project? Does the Muting of the Audio "stick?"
Second test: in your existing Project, Select all the Clips on that Audio Track #1, and drag them to Audio Track #2, or another, empty Audio Track, and test the Mute for that new Track, in Audio Mixer. How does that work for you? Does the Mute stick?
