How to unblacklist my BB 9300?

On sunday my BB just cutted off my service network and when I phoned them they told me to switch the phone off and take out the battery for 10mins then turn it back on but nothing happened! Nw I think it has been blacklisted ,how do I unblacklist it

I can't phone or receive calls,can't send sms's or receive them,in services status on my BB it says mobile voice not available

    I hope that you are all well.
    I use a Curve 9300 (3G) and assumed that it checked for and retrieved new emails all of the time. However, it seems that it only retreives new messages from my email account every so often. Could someone please let me know how often it checks for new emails?
    Also, when I run a Diagnostic Test in the Mobile Network Options menu the result says NO when it tests to see if it is connected to my email account. When I ran tests a while ago the result was YES. Could someone please let me know if this is anything to worry about?

    First, you have a misunderstanding that the handheld device "checks" for messages. They don't.
    RIM's technology on which the company and popularity was built is that RIM servers go out to your email server and checks for new mail and "pushes" those messages to your handheld BlackBerry.
    On a normal POP3 email server, that occurs every 15 minutes and if new messages are found they are pushed and the RIM server checks again in 2 minutes for a few cycles, and after 3-4 cycles of two minute checks, if no new messages are found, it reverts to 15 minutes.
    On an IMAP email server, the push is instant. An example of this might gmail accounts, yahoo mail, and private domains hosted by GoDaddy.

  • How to get a Curve 9300 to work on WIND Mobile Canada

    I have a 9300 from the UK. It's Unlocked and I'm trying to use it on WIND in Canada. They say that the 9300 is one of their supported devices as it works on the GSM AWS 1700 Mhz frequency. 
    However it doesn't work with my WIND sim card. I downloaded a Blackberry for WIND Canada update from BB Support site, which I though had to fix it. It gave me Bundle 2647 (v6.0.0.600, Platform 6.6.0.223) but still the WIND sim doesn't work.
    Anyone tried a non-WIND 9300 and had any better luck? Otherwise any suggestions much appreciated

  • Several questions concerning sending bulk SMS texts on a 9300

    Hi, I'm new here and have done the usual thing of checking previous topics using the search facility, but a few things don't seem to have been covered (or if they have the search facility didn't find them)
    1) Why does the 9300 only allow you to send an SMS text message to 100 contacts only? My old 9000 could send to everyone in a group (some of my groups contain 300+ contacts) I've now had to spend almost 2 days re-doing all my groups so that none contain more than a 100 contacts (for example Members A-H, Members I-O and Members P-Z)
    Is there any way around this?
    2) How do I make the 9300 less like an iPhone and more like my old 9000? I hate the way that when you send a text to a group, if several people reply all the replies are grouped together. With the old 9000 each text from each individual was listed seperately, which actually made it easier to know who had replied.
    3) When sending a text to a group, with the 9000 I could see the whole list of recipients, with a red X next to those, who for one reason or another, hadn't received it. With the 9300 I get a red X next to the group name, but not against individuals, so I have no idea who did and who didn't et the message. How do I change the settings so that I do know?

    Can anyone help please with how to get my Curve 9300 to include itmes in the future as well as the past when I do a search?
    At the moment i can get it to show me any past appoinments but that's no good when I'm trying to check the time of a future appointment!

    Same issue on BB Curve 8520, I am told to delete CICAL in the service book (Option, Advance Option, Service Book, highlight the one(s) you wish to delete so that the remaining one becomes default --by pressing the menu key and selecting delete). The only problem is that when I press the menu key, delete is not an option...
    I would like to add that this only became a problem since the last software update, before that despite the multiple email accounts I never had dupes.

    i stand corrected in that case, and thank you for letting me know. i have checked several sources and they stated that 2600 does not have the bluetooth capability, but then again things you find on the internet are not always correct.
    did you connect your devices, discover mode and approved that both phones can 'talk' to each other? the code generally is 0000, make sure your phones are not set to hide and, fire up both blueetooth devices, do a search for new devices and see what happens. again i do not have either phone so i may be incorrect again. but since noone else is volunteering info why not give this a try. perhaps others can chime in that know the issue better than i do.
    also keep in mind that even if you are able to connect the two you still may not be able to do a transfer because the phone may have other limitations etc.

  • How to transfer photos from curve 9300 to pc in a Vista OS

    How do I transfer photos taken by my Blackberry Curve 9300 to my pc, which uses a Vista OS?  With the Blackberry Desktop software I synchronized the data and I backed up the phone, but I cannot find the photos on the pc.  The backup files cannot be opened, but some websites claim to sell software which would allow me to open the backup files. 
    I also tried to access the phone's photos through the pc's control panel, but the control panel does not allow access to this drive.  It shows that a device is connected, but I cannot access it.

    Vista is a cranky beast...like every other OS from MS, it was quite flawed IMHO, and hence had a very short lifespan.
    For the backup, indeed you are correct that the file is of a proprietary format...this is by design. 3rd party PC apps do indeed exist to try and parse it out to a "human usable" format, but quite often photos aren't even included in the backup, so doing so would be of no value anyway. Please refer to the "backup" link in my auto sig on this post for best practices regarding backups.
    The best way to obtain these files (photos are simply computer files, after all) is to use Mass Storage Mode. Refer:

    There may be other useful KBs...you can, of course, search the KB database just as well as I can for you.
    Do keep in mind that Vista is wonky...there are situations where functionality via Vista just doesn't work, but it's a fault of Vista rather than anything else. It's also possible that your version of the Desktop Software is not the most recent...but you've not revealed that, so all I can do is point you to the download location for the most recent:

    There must be already some value in zcsa/installed_languages in your instance profile.
    Now in SMLT check the language information for checking the relevant value for chinese language and add this value to the parameter : zcsa/installed_languages

    You missed my first question -- are you on corporate BES? If not, then you should not be using the Enterprise selection at all.
    If you are on Personal email (e.g., Yahoo, Gmail, POP, etc.) and you are not seeing "Personal" in the email setup wizard (e.g., if you only see "Enterprise"), then your account from your carrier is inadequate to enable that option and you must contact them for assistance in adding full BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) to your account (at whatever they will charge, btw).     Once you have the proper account, you should see Personal email added to the email setup wizard.

    After two years of service complaints BlackBerry has not resolved issue KB19631 or the issue with blackberry desktop manager not syncing category groups correctly from apple address book to blackberry phones. These phone range from $200 to $600 bucks and Im in dismay about how the most important key features do not work?? 
    The new Blackberry Curve 9300 allows us to add individual categories and each contact to these categories we create on the phone one by one. I just bought this expensive phone and I would think that I would not have to spend 8 hours adding 300 contacts to each group category.
    Im tired of downloading apps that say they sync all categories and do not. Is there a way to select a category on this phone then scroll through the contact list selecting each name that belongs in that category?
