How to unblock function for updating IOS software.

we did say not to upgrade some time ago, now we want to upgrade ios, how to find and unblock function for upgrading ios to newer software?

I did everything that you guys asked me to do. Until now my iphone is useless. A friend of mine asked me to update his iphone 4 running ios 5.1.1 to ios 7.1.2 and I was able to update it without experiencing any error then I tried it again on my iphone but the same error appeared. The same (error code 3194).
This got me thinking that APPLE must have blocked my iphone from updating to later version of IOS. can someone please help me figure out and understand why this is happening to my iphone if other iphone like my friend's can update ios so easy?

I have a similair problem. My Iphone 5 has been doing a recovery for approximately 6 to 7 hours. Should I expect it to take this long or should I restart the process? Itunes does say it is doing a recovery and looks active but I question the length of time that this is taking.

I need some kind of procedure or function for updating the weight, volume, and dimensions in the organization and master items forms. We have almost 350,000 items and I want to update them in batch. Is there an API of some kind for this? Actually, it's a timing issue. Those items are greyed out for a couple of minutes after PPro starts. A little patience and they become available. ;)

How to sync ipad for update

how can I update my iPad to update it?

Check the iOS version you have on your iPad by going to
Settings > General > Software Update
If that selection says your software is up to date, then you have iOS 5.1 installed. That's the latest version right now.
If that selection tells you there is an update available follow the prompts to update to iOS 5.1
You'll need to be connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi to do this.
If that selection tell you that your iOS is 4 point something then you'll have to connect your iPad to your computer to update.
Start your computer and start iTunes. Then check for updates to make sure your iTunes is the latest version.
If needed update iTunes.
Start iTunes on your computer and connect your iPad.
Select the name of yourvipad in the left column of iTunes on your computer.
Select General in the top of the right column.
Follow the promts to update the iOS.

Can I update an older iPad with iOS 5 in order to utilize iCloud and the 'Find my iPad' app?
I tried going under Settings>General, but do not see the 'Software Update' option.

That only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, you will need to do the update via your computer's iTunes.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases (you may also want to copy photos off the iPad as well) and then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'. You may also want to copy off the iPad any important documents, notes, files etc e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case.
You can then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button.

How to disable check for updates??

I ve to package a ctrlPrint 5.0.2.33 plugin to adobe incopy CS3. After installing that plugin exe , in adobe incopy first window, plugin will add two tabs called ctrl and ctrlPrint if we press ctrl tab than there is a feature called check for updates and i have to disable this update so pls suggest me how to do it ? no reg entry ,no update reg ,no xlm file for update is there.

If you are referring to Help -> Check for Updates, I'm not certain if that is possible.
If you mean Tools -> Preferences -> Extensions, just uncheck the Automatically Check for Updates box. Doing that is standard procedure for improving the tool's launch performance.
