How to undo "convert to symbol"?

First I have to say this community is really good. You have helped me
many times. Now, I have a question.
How can i undo "convert to symbol" without the normal "Undo"-button under "edit"- button
because I don`t want to undo everything since 3 days.
Hope you know what I mean and i`m sorry for my bad english.

Unfornately there is no undo (or as other Adobe applications, call it, 'Break Apart') 'Symbol' command, though it would make for a great request.
The best option, at the moment, is to
- Enter Edit in Place for that particular Symbol;
- Edit > Slect All;
- Edit > Copy;
- Exit Symbol In-Place mode;
- Then on your Stage, Edit > Paste Special > Paste All
Even then it will not be perfect because if your Symbol timeline has Triggers and Labels, the above process will not be copied/pasted. They will have to done separately.

Save your new psd
In Flash, create a new symbol with a blank timeline
Ctrl-R, navigate to the psd you made earlier
Select all the Photoshop layers
Check "create MovieClips for these layers."
Convert layers to keyframes or flash layers (not important, since you probaby don't need to keep this symbol)
OK
You'll have Movie Clips, not Graphic Symbols, but maybe you can write or find a JSFL to convert them and then you can block select them, click the Properties button, and change the type from MovieClip to Graphc. -

I've got an assignment with LabVIEW and I work with LabVIEW 8.0. The program I work with is written in LabVIEW 6.3 and had to be converted to LabVIEW 8.0. That went very well, except for one symbol. The "AI one pt" symbol (see enclosed figure) turned into an empty box (question mark). My question to you is how can I overcome this problem, or how can I simulate this symbol with LabVIEW 8.0?

Graziano is right about this. To make it completly clear: The block you refer to as a symbol is a VI belonging to the Traditional NI-DAQ driver. Currently there are two drivers for DAQ boards: DAQmx (the new one) and Traditional NI-DAQ (the old one). Since your VI was written in LabVIEW 6.x (6.3 never existed) the VI uses the old driver. What you need to do is: install Traditional NI-DAQ on your PC to get the support VI's for the driver in LabVIEW. This Traditional NI-DAQ installer should be on the driver CD which was delivered along with LabVIEW 8.0 or you can download it here:

There is one good point though which Graziano already mentioned: Which DAQ board are you using? It could be that you will need an ever older version of NI-DAQ (traditional) to get your DAQ board supported. Let me know if you have any more questions

Being able to read your texts is really important and we'll be happy to help you get them working correctly. How long has this issue been going on for? Has texting ever worked correctly for you?
Also, when you receive texts as all symbols do you know what is contained in those texts? Are there any images in them by chance? Even a smily? If the person sending you the message tries to send it again are you able to read it?

How do I remove extra symbols that pop up in a word when I convert a document to a PDF?
Before I convert a document in Publisher, all content is accurate. After I convert to a PDF, there is one word where a question mark is used for every letter n in the word. Any ideas for how to get it to convert accurately? I've tried deleting and re-typing, copy/paste, etc.
How do you convert that document - using Publisher? In that case you should ask in the Publisher support forum.

I am reading a displayed waveform from my Tektronix Oscilloscope (TDS3032) via the GPIB Read VI. The format of the waveform data is: positive integer data-point representation with the most significant byte transferred first (2 bytes per data point).
The output data of GPIB-Read looks like a string(?) where the integer numbers and a sign like the euro-currency sign are seperated by spaces e.g. #5200004C3 4 4 4 4 3C3C3........ (C represents the euro-currency sign).
How can I convert this waveform data into a 1D/2D array of real double floatingpoint numbers (DBL) so I can handle the waveform data for data-analysis?
It would be very nice if someone know the solution for this.

First of all, I'm assuming you are using LabVIEW.
The first you need to do is parse the string returned by the instrument. In this case you need to search for the known symbols in the string (like the euro sign) and chop the string to get the numeric strings. Here are some examples on parsing from www.ni.com:
Keyword Search: parsing
Once you parse the numeric strings you can use the "String/number conversion VIs" in the String pallette.

I read some posts that CSV will ignore space.

In the above code u can use make inputtab like tp_data and get the result as requires in an internal table as space seperated fields.
In place of space u can also use any other symbol.
And after that u can replace all occurences of space with the comma by using the statement that u have written below. -
How to change the Field Symbol, so Adobe Forms takes it as a Table?

I created an Field Symbol, in a Interface which I use for Adobe Forms. The type of the Field Symbol is STANDARD TABLE, and this field symbol I fill with data from another program.
But the problem is that in adobe forms, this Field Symbol is taken as TEXT FIELD and not as Table... and this shows me a Dump because it can't convert Internal Table to type C (the dump is like that).
What I need, is how to change the Field Symbol, so Adobe Forms takes it as a Table?
I looked at Adobe Form, and found this:
The Type Category of the Field Symbol is DICTIONARY TYPE and I think I need to change it to Internal Table as shown in the right picture.

To what i understand your requirement, you need to pass data from Field symbol to internal table in Adobe form.

We have to differentiate between keys that come to Erase method of custom publisher. So, we appended "|" at the end of the key as below

1. What class is this method on?
2. Why do you want to use a key in the place of an entry?
If I correctly interpret what you try to achieve, your super-class implementation has to know how to deal with the trailing pipe character as you are never supposed to change the key on an entry, and the entry without the pipe does not exist either.

Problem converting £ and € symbols
Following conversion of a database to al32utf8 I noticed problems with converted currency symbols. This is a sample test I ran to reproduce:
1. Set the code page to 1252 as this is how the data was inserted in the win1252 database and create test data

I get similar results with Euro symbols, they are converted to multiple multibyte characters
I can fix the data by running a replace, but what is happening? The data in most cases was added by running a script in sql plus, though some could have been via application tools.

When run in a WE8MSWIN1252 database, this is effectively creating a table with 2 columns of 3 bytes and 1 byte in length.

When you update the column by converting its value from WE8MSWIN1252 to AL32UTF8, the 8-bit currency symbol expands in size which causes the converted value to be truncated to the column limit.

Here you're seeing the truncated conversion result due to the column size limit (3 bytes). The Pound sign is 0xC2A3 in AL32UTF8.
The DMU scan will detect size expansion over limit issues and block the conversion in such cases. -

The application Acrobat provides no language translation capability.
If you localize the language for OS, MS Office applications, Acrobat, etc to the desired language try again.
Alternative: transfer a copy of content into a web based translation service (Bing or Google provides a free service).
Transfer the output into a word processing program that is localized to the appropriate language.
Do cleanup.

Of course if you are both connected to the same iCloud account you have the same contacts - what did you expect?. The contacts live on the server and are read from there by the devices; so as you've both managed to sync your contacts up to iCloud they are now inextricably mixed. You can only delete your contacts by deleting individual ones, and doing that will delete them from your phone as well.
You can only unravel this by
1. In the iCloud contacts page at http://icloud.com, select all the contacts, click on the cogwheel icon at bottom left and choose 'Export vCard'.
2. Sign out of System Preferences>iCloud
3. Create a new Apple ID and open a new iCloud account with it for your own use.
4. Import the vCard back into the iCloud contacts page.
5. Go to http://icloud.com and sign in with the original ID. This is now his ID. Work through the contacts individually deleting the ones you don't want him to have. When done sign out and advise him to change his password.
6. Go to the new iCloud account and delete his contacts individually.
Of course if you have also been syncing calendars and using the same email address there are problems with doing this. -
