i use this item in right click in history window
what do i do?
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove everything from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious if you need to keep passwords or other data from that site and you can't recover from that unless you have a backup of the affected files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

I use Firefox 'Most Visited' to access websites I use many times every day. I inadvertently clicked 'Forget About This Site' on a page listing that I need. That page is gone, apparently permanently, from my 'Most Visited' list. No matter how many times I re-visit the page, it will not show up on 'Most Visited'. How can I get it back? Thanks!
Most Visited is an automatically generated list that shows sites that you've visited.<br />
If you delete the history of a site then you have with a visit count of zero.<br />
To make that site reappear in that you you will have to visit that site often enough to make the visit count match the other sites in that list or clear the history from other sites in that list.
You can make the Visit Count column visible in the History Manager to see how many times you've visit sites.

I accidentally clicked 'forget about this site' and I'm looking for a way to undo this. I've heard there is no way to recover the history from a particular site once it has been deleted, but surely it leaves some kind of record in the system? I read an article that suggested running the 'system restore' feature which gives me the option of 'restoring my computer to an earlier time' before certain changes were made. Would this work?
no, updating the browser won't have an impact on your history - all your personal data will remain.

I have over 6 months of browser history, and I browse twitter a lot. I want to "Forget About" Twitter. Whenever I try to do that, Firefox just hangs, and becomes impossible to use. It's the same if I try to delete, say, everything from 6 months ago.
Deleting my browser history should NOT be a browser-breaking process. My rig is a Phenom IIx4 build, and I'm running off of an SSD. Maybe you guys have tied up all of the browser history into some complicated cache for the URL bar, I don't know. But this is pathetic. If I can delete 10GBs of crap from my HD within seconds, I should be able to delete my browser history.randomanon1234,
You posted here with PaleMoon in the Firefox support forum, and didn't specifically refer to which version of Firefox your problem is/was with. We assume that the support question is about the browser used to post here, unless that is obviously incorrect; like the thread was started on a Mobile device, or using IE or Chrome - then we ask, if the Firefox version wasn't stated along with the question.
You might think PaleMoon and Firefox are the same and that I am "splitting hairs", but "we" have had a discussion with and initiated by MoonChild of the PaleMoon project in the Contributors area over "us" referring to PaleMoon as a "3rd Party build" of Firefox. He insists that PaleMoon is a Gecko "fork", not a re-branded version of Firefox - IOW, a completely separate browser that uses much of the same code that is in Firefox. I have moved from the UK to Canada and would like to pay for subscriptions in Canadian dollars rather than sterling pounds. Also I would like to take up Creative Cloud subscription offer because I qualified as a prior purchaser of CS packages.
How do I go about this?I did that - nothing happen... I have changed my adobe ID and all address to my Canada home.
Having log myself out and re-log back in to start the Creative Cloud subscription. The payment still shows in Sterling Pounds.
This is difficult as I am no longer earning Sterling pounds as a wage and the subscription would automatically be doubled payment, because Canadian $ is less in currency exchange to the UK Sterling Pound.

Since your Mac probably came with 10.4, there is no longer a way to get 10.5 Leopard install media. IF it has the requirements, you may be able to upgrade to 10.6 Snow Leopard by buying the boxed install media at the Apple Store for $30.

To add to what BenB advised, make sure you have proof of purchase when you call Apple for a replacement serial number.
For future reference, it is a good idea to keep all software serial numbers in a database or text document. Considering the cost of the software, keeping a list of serial numbers can come in very handy at times like this.
