How do I reset the forget this device on an iphone 4S?

    You do not.
If you have forgotten a device and want to add it back, simply do so.
Put the device in pairing mode, then go to Settings > Bluetooth and the iPhone will find it.

  • How to undo forget the device on iPhone 4

Accidently I unpaired my wireless dock connected via Bluetooth by pressing " forget this device" on my iPhone 4. Software 4.3.3.  I tried to Reset the network setting but still it does not recognise my music dock. Pls help,

"Reset Network Settings" forgets ALL BlueTooth and WiFi settings, not restoring deleted pairings.  You have to go through the pairing procedure from scratch.

  • How to undo forget this device

I purchased a JBL Flip speaker and connected to my Apple iPad and it worked fine. By accident I pushed "Forget this device" and lost the device on my Bluetooth page. I have tried everything to try and get it back but it will not connect. Any ideas??

Try resetting the iPad. Hold down the Home and p[ower/sleep buttons until the Apple logo shows up.
You might also want to reset network settings to clear all data from the BT pairings. Sometimes that helps.
    Settings->General-:>Reset->Reset Network Settings.

    Hi
You cannot connect any BT device to this notebook because this has not been equipped with any BT module.
So BT is not available for this unit.

  • How to undo "Forget about this site" to restor my history???

how to undo "Forget about this site" to restor my history
i use this item in right click in history window
    what do i do?

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove everything from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious if you need to keep passwords or other data from that site and you can't recover from that unless you have a backup of the affected files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

  • How do I undo Forget this Device

I was trying to re-pair my Jawbone bluetooth headset and thought I had to "dismiss" the old pairing by hitting the Forget This Device button. Now I can't get the iPhone to recognize my Jawbone at all. How do I undo the Forget setting? I have already reset all settings and I have already reset network settings..none of these worked. Can anyone help please?

    Do this:
Delete the Jawbone's profile from your phone, turn the Bluetooth application in your phone OFF and then perform a reset on the iPhone by holding both the home and sleep buttons at the same time until the screen shows the apple logo, then release. Next, reset the Jawbone. To reset your Jawbone, first power the Jawbone on and make sure it is disconnected from the phone; the LED light will flash red every few seconds when the Jawbone is powered on and disconnected. Next, press the headset's buttons in the following order: NoiseAssassin, Talk, Talk, NoiseAssassin, Talk, Talk. For help locating each button, follow this link: http://aliph.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/aliph.cfg/php/enduser/stdadp.php?p_faqid=124&pcreated=1213119345.
If the reset is performed successfully, the Jawbone will enter pairing mode (the LED light will begin flashing back and forth between red and white). At this point, turn your phone's Bluetooth ON and ask for it to search for a device. Once the Jawbone is found approve the pairing and connection and when prompted for a passkey enter four zeros (0000). The Jawbone should flash white every few seconds once it is on and connected. (Here's a link that will also help with the pairing process: http://aliph.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/aliph.cfg/php/enduser/stdadp.php?p_faqid=154&pcreated=1242753069)

  • How to unhide a Bluetooth device?

By mistake I hide a Bluetooth device because I had some trouble to establish the connection. How can I unhide this device? I did not find any option.

I don't have anything that equates to "Hide" when I look at the bluetooth screen for a device on my phone in English.
The top option on the page is "Forget this Device". That sill effectively delete the pairing.
I think you need to re-pair your phone with whatever you're trying to connect to.

  • How to "unforget" a Bluetooth device?

I set to forget a bluetooth device I was trying to pair in an effort to resolve a pairing issue I had. But when I did so, I was never able to see that bluetooth device again.
How do I unforget the bluetooth device so my iPhone can discover it once again?

When the iPhone is told to forget a device, it just clears it from the memory. Try and turn the bluetooth off on the phone and back on again. It will not "ignore" the device. One of those should do it, or a reset on the phone before trying again. I've used "forget this device" a number of times when testing particular bluetooth headsets for numerous phones. They will appear again as I stated.

  • How to do a forget Bluetooth devices previously connected to srs btx300 on the speaker?

I have previously connected 2 different laptops to the speaker. Now some time when the laptops are switch on, the sound are transmitted to the speaker. If they are not connected, the blue light keep blinking even though no device is connected.
How do I make the speaker forget the old connection? I tried doing reset but it does not work.
    Thanks.

"A hard or forced reset erases all information in the computer's memory which may restore functionality" Before I try this, I need to be clear about what is erased with a hard or forced reset - Is it "all information in the computer's memory" or only the information in the computer's memory that is involved in restoring functionality?

  • How do I delete Bluetooth devices that only show up from the drop down menu bar, and not in the Bluetooth preferences devices?

I recently attempted, and failed, to pair/link/use my Playstation 3 Controller with my 13" Macbook Pro Retina (OS X Yosemite 10.10.1), and now I've been left with three unwanted 'devices' in my Bluetooth's menu bar, that don't show up in the Bluetooth's preferences devices, so I am unable to delete them from there.
The devices in question are labelled as "00-00-00-00-68-2f", "00-00-00-00-68-7f", and "00-00-00-00-68-ef".
I've read that resetting the PS3 Controller will remove these, but every attempt at that has failed as much as trying to use the Controller for gaming.
Any help with this little issue will be much appreciated, as I've found it very annoying.
    Cheers

  • How to activate the bluetooth device

my bluetooth is off and it doesnt allow me to turn it on, what can i do?

These discussions are for Macbook Pro users. And this particular one is very old.
You should post your question - as a new question, not in the middle of someone else's discussion.

  • How to make a Bluetooth device a favorite?

I have added my BT keyboard to my MacBook Pro, but I never saw an option to add it as a favorite, and in the "get more info" it says it is not a favorite "Favorite: No". I can't find where to add this!
I'm sure it's easy, so thank you very much for any help!

It was actually found by (props!) Barry Hemphill by answering this same question I posted in another area.

...and yes, that's what makes it convoluted, and therefore bewildering. There may be a good answer (obsolescence?), I just wonder what it is out of curiosity, or was it just poorly created and therefore they may want to update.

  • Rename Bluetooth Device on an iPhone 3GS

    Hi,
I have two Blueant S1 Handsfree Bluetooth devives - one in my car, the other in my wife's car. Both devices have been successfully synched to the iPhone, but they have the same device name BLUEANT S1.
On my wife's Samsung phone it is possible to rename BLUEANT S1 to something more meaningful, however I have not been able to find how to do the same in my iPhone.
Does anyone know how to rename a Bluetooth Device which is paired to an iPhone?
    Thanks,
    Stephen

You need to consult the directions for the device you're trying to pair to. You need to put it back in pairing mode and pair just the way you did the first time.
