How to undo remember password on a work computer (don't have access to 'Security' tab under 'Options'
Accidently pressed 'remember password' when logging into Gmail via Firefox. Unfortunately am using a work computer and don't have access to the 'Security' tab under 'Options'. How do I go about undoing the remember password function? I've cleared all history, passwords etc and have shut down computer (this happened yesterday, logged back in today and details still saved).
You can try running firefox with the profile manager open (firefox.exe -p in run or right click the icon and add properties and stick it to the end of the target ("C:\Program Files (x86)\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe" - p) Then try deleting that profile and creating a new one.

If you can't remember your password then have you tried getting it reset via http://iforgot.apple.com ?
If you can't get it reset via that then try contacting Support in your country and see if they can reset it for you : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 -

How do I restore my iPod touch if I don't have access to computer it was backed up to
I bought my ipod 5 th gen wen it first came out lost it and don't remember the passcode and don't have access to computer I backed up to anymore how do I fix
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
I've tried all the passwords I can think of for my old email (which I had when I originally set up my apple account) but cannot get access to it for the likes of my email verification codes for iCloud etc and I can't change it to to my existing email add because apparently it's my backup email/rescue email. I'm not using my phone to it's potential as I can't get into iCloud, any clues? Thanks

How can I verify my Apple ID if I don't have access to my old email?
Apple asks me to verify my ID by clicking on the comfirmation email that it just sent, only the email in question doesn't exist anymore. I mean, if I had a magic letter opener that swiped electronic mail in rogue-like fashion, these things would not become problems. Surely Apple didn't expect EVERYONE to keep the same email address for years upon years...
So what it do? Do I pay for Apple telephone support? I'm on hold right now, as a matter of fact. The problem is so miniscule that the nice girl on the phone waived my first fee! Apple, baby, get on it will ya? There are about to be a LOT of unhappy people swinging that little knocking hinge on the front door...hard.ok... i figured out "A" solution.
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/, choose "Manage your account", enter your old apple id email and password, then edit the verification email to a functional email address. This will send the email verification to your newly chosen apple id. PLEASE NOTE, this email address can NOT be a MobileMe (@me.com or @mac.com) email address OR an address already verified on an existing apple id (some folks added and secondary email address to their MobileMe apple id).
Here's where it gets even more confusing. You've now changed your apple id email. Problem is you need to reset the password you never created (lol). Go back to https://appleid.apple.com/, choose "Reset your password", then enter your newly changed apple id email address and follow the instructions.
Now, log into that email account and open the email to reset your password. Follow those instructions.
Now that you've changed your apple id email address, reset that password you are ready to finally verify your apple id. Open your email account and follow the instruction (link) to verify account. It will ask you for you (new) apple id email and (new) password.
Finally, now that everything is verified, you will now need to go into your iTunes, iPhone, iTouch and anything else associated with the old apple id email and update your log in info. You are now free to resume the services that worked just fine before the self-destruct button was pressed.
I love Apple as a whole but, wow... I feel like I'm at the beginning of MobileMe again.
Good luck and I hope this helps everyone!
ON A POSITIVE NOTE:
I appeared to loose nothing at this time through this process (i.e. music, apps, credits, etc.) except perhaps my cool. :-) -

I have a lot of money on my Apple ID but when I try to buy something it ask for my security questions that I do not remember the answers to. I also don't have access to the email I used to set up my Apple ID but I do know the password how do I fix this ?
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Can't remember iCloud password and don't have access to that email how do I reset it?
I have just got a iPhone 5 and I'm trying to transfere all iTunes and apps from my iPad to my new phone. I have managed to update all onto iCloud but I can't remember my iCloud password and don't have access to the email I used to open it, which means I can't download any of my apps or tunes onto my new phone. How can I reset my iCloud email and password without losing all my apps and tunes. Thanks matty.
Hopefully you set up your security questions. Here is information on Apple ID: If you forget your password and how to recover using your security questions.

I cant remember my administrator password. can anyone advise me how to reset the password without having the original? I have a MacBook Air - Mac OS X 10.6
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
As you are using Snow Leopard, read "Resetting your original administrator account password" > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274 You have to start from the Mac OS X Snow Leopard disc, so you need an external optical drive or another Mac or PC to use Remote Install Mac OS X -
I have two apple accounts, but can only access one. I did all the steps to recover the older account's password but nothing worked. I need to access the older account to update apps. Also would there be a way to just combine both accounts?
Were you able to reset the account's password ? If not then how did you try to get it reset e.g. http://iforgot.apple.com (which would have sent it to the rescue email address if you have one on that account) ? You can also try contacting iTunes Support in your country to get it reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
And no, accounts can't be merged nor content transferred between accounts. -
I don't know what to do. I don't have access to my email and I can't remember the password to change it. I have a new Apple ID but I would like to use this one. It says my birthday is wrong so I don't know what to do.

Hi Guys,
Do you know to how update my iCloud ID to match my Apple ID if I don't know the password for the old ID and I don't have access to the old e-mail address?Hi Guys,
I've sorted it
All I needed to do was add my old e-mail address - not as the primary but as an alias. This allowed me to delete the account on my iPhone 4S and re-sign in with the correct e-mail address.
Happy now -
My new iphone is asking for an old iCloud password I can't remember the password, don't have access to the old email and when I try and answer the security question it is telling me that my date of birth is wrong?? Arggghh help?
Contact iTunes Customer support... it is not possible to bypass Activation Lock.
