How to unfreeze an image on you tube

I have an Ipad 3. Operating system ve. 5.1.1.
I have an image from a previously played video from you tube frozen on the screen. When using you tube and searching for videos the results are hidden behind this image. I am able to play videos from the search results by touching where I think they should be. The frozen image does not hide the very top or bottom of the screen and does not stop me from playing any you tube videos from Safari. How can I get rid of this frozen image? Thanks!

Hi
What software do you have installed in your computer?
If you have FCP Studio read this tutorial: Encoding for YouTube Using Compressor .
Hope that helps !

All I do is to export the iMovie project to Quicktime using the 'compress movie for Web' setting, and then upload it to YouTube.
    Seems to work OK!

  • How do I log in to you tube on my iPhone 4 when I don't know the log in or password. I have videos I want to send to Facebook.

    I. Have taken some videos on my iPhone 4. How do I post them on Facebook or add them tp You tube. I don't know what my You Tube sign in I'd and password is. If I put in the apple ID and password, it is not accepted for You Tube.

To put them on facebook, just open the facebook app and select to add a photo/video from library.
As for Youtube; The account details for that are usually completely different from your Apple ID, and you'd need to get in touch with the Youtube support about resetting your account details for there

  • How to start mobile version of you tube videos on windows7 with vnd.youtube protocol?

When I use you tube of mobile version on my laptop(windows7 ultimate) and when I click to start the video of mobile version it shows following error on monitor------>
    {{The address wasn't understood
Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (vnd.youtube) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.
    You might need to install other software to open this address.}}
Please help me to start the videos of youtube of mobile version on my laptop for this problem.

You would need a mobile device to have support for this protocol.
Maybe the Firefox OS simulator will work.

  • How to cut upload time for You tube?

It took me 3 hours to upload on to my DeskTop and 17 hours for a twenty minute video on You Tube. Is there a quicker way?

The fastest way out of FCPX to YouTube is to Export your video using Current Settings (have your storyline completely rendered first) and using another application to compress the video to H.264, at a reasonable size, to upload to YouTube.
FCPX exports H.264 at its highest quality... that can be anywhere from 17Mbps to over 50Mbps... that means basically, almost NO compression at all. For most accounts, youtube has a size limit anyway, and I'm sure that accounts for most upload failures from FCPX.
Personally, I prefer Quicktime 7 Pro over Compressor. It is *FAR LESS* complicated and yields (from my experience) better results (but I'm probably just blowing the compressor jobs trying to tweak all the particulars.)
YouTube has specific criteria that it *prefers* to receive anyway. They want:
H.264 @ 30fps (or 29.97, since, that IS the real 30fps) optimized for streaming + Fast Start (prepare for streaming) [** 720/60 media is ok... 24fps/25fps -- again: ok but their spedifications outline 30 as prefered.]
Audio in AAC @ 44.1kHz (bitrate is somewhat flexible -- between about 80 and 192 kbps -- I generally use a 160kbps variable bitrate setting)  [PS -- 48kHz is going to be ok -- but keep in mind, if YT finds video it thinks it can do a better job of compressing -- it WILL... if you stay within the guidelines, your video stands a better chance of making it in the condition *you* intended and not sustaining a surprise recompression at their hands.]
YT "recommends" setting the compressor (whatever app you use to encode/transcode) to Best Quality -- but they're going to resize/recompress the video if it's too high a bitrate anyway, so the best thing to do is find your own "comfort zone" and YT's re-compressors will generally leave your video unchanged...
I have found (relatively good) success with 1080/30p (meaning 29.97) @ 4 to 5 Mbps depending... (moving gradients/ high action sequences will require more -- you can get away with up to about 18Mbps -- or about what the average consumer grade camcorder will produce since many of them have direct to youtube upload faciility.) For 720/60 or 30p, you can scale back the bitrate about 1.5 Mbps on the low end (so: about 2.5 - 3 Mbps). [you can judge the difference for SD from the two samples represented above.]  [PS - scaling a 720/60p down to a 30p will not get you a better/smaller file size; and frequently, you'll get just the opposite -- larger!]
You should create about a 5 second clip from the most active part of your video; export it and test compress it at various bitrates and find the lowest bitrate that results in video that is practially indistinguishable from the high quality settings. That will be your target bitrate.
In general, my compressed H.264 videos will be about 10-15% the size of the ProRes export from FCPX. That's a good size to upload to YouTube.
There's one more thing about YouTube (although I don't know if it's still in effect - things might have changed, but I don't take the chance) -- the Player... it has this little control thingy at the bottom... It has been my belief that YT squeezes the playing video vertically slightly to make room for it [this squeezing creates artifacts especially around small text]. To compensate for that, I usually set my Export settings for 1920 x 1062 (and enable Preserve Aspect Ratio by Letterbox [pillarboxing attempts to extend the video back down to 1080 - I want it to maintain the vertical aspect]). I don't think the viewers ever notice the very slight pillarboxing on either side, and all the small text looks considerably better when I do this. You cannot export from FCPX in custom sizes like that; so for my purposes, this process I've just outlined is the one that works best -- for me. YMMV.

  • How to locate an image wherever you want?

Ok so i'm creating images in photoshop for a menu bar, but when i import the photos, i can't move the photo, i can put it on the left, the centre or the right and of course i don't want that. How cani move it freely? Is tehre some sort of 'Wrap Photo' button like in microsoft word?

Use Photoshop for images only.  Use DW to build your HTML & CSS code.
DW is not a click & drag app like Photoshop or Muse.  You must create an HTML and CSS layout first.  Insert images, text and backgrounds into your pre-built layout.
DW comes with a few pre-built layouts you can use as starter pages.  Go to File > New > Blank page > HTML and select a layout from the 3rd panel.  Hit Create button.
Or you can use the FluidGrid Layouts feature to create a custom layout for mobile, tablet & desktop devices (responsive web design).
    http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-dreamweaver-cc/exploring-fluid-grid-layouts/
Or you can get the free Bootstrap extension from DMX Zone which contains 8 pre-built layouts.
    http://www.dmxzone.com/go/21759/dmxzone-bootstrap
Or you can purchase commercial DW extensions from Project Seven.

  • Any tutorials on how to create an image that you click and will call out larger?

I am designing a project where I have an image of a thumbnail paycheck. When you click it, it will enlarge into a callout. I'm thinking that you would have to build a movieclip of this image where it animates from small to large, but you build it into a button where, when you click down or mouse over, the movieclip plays which enlarges this image (almost like a pop out window, but not necessarily a new window, it's an animation). When you release the button, the image scales back to its thumbnail.

The approach you take might depend on a few things, but it boils down to using mouse interactive coding to trigger whatever effect you eventually realize.  The code you use will depend on the version of Actionscript you plan to use.
You could make this as a movieclip that is normally stopped at its first frame and when you mouseover or click the movieclip, it animates along its own timeline to its enlarged state.  If the thumbnail is very small and the larger version is substantially larger, and both need to be clear images, this might be the better approach.
If this only involves enlarging something, you could also probably realize it just using Actionscript Tween coding rather than timeline animation.

  • You Tube downloads

I am not very savvy with the ipad. How can I download videos from You Tube? I have tried two different download aps from the ap store but I can't get either to work. I don't understand if I am using the ap browser or not. Help?
I can pull up the video I want but not sure if it is in the ap browser and then when I try all the ways it suggests to save it, I never get an option given to me to save or download. It will just play the video and never download it.
    Very frustrating,
    THanks,

There is the Free iTube Grabber which can capture almost any audio and/or video stream (it says here:)
    http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/10972178
Firefox Download Helper is also supposed to work, you have to be logged into YouTube first.
and the RealPlayer Downloader that comes with RealPlayer SP for Mac from:
    http://www.real.com/realplayer/mac
which also downloads videos from YouTube.
There is also iTubeX which allows you to download videos (Flash, HTML5 and others), .mp3 and .swf files from almost every website as easily as possible:

hi every one. Plz help. how can i play vedios from you-tube or google on my phone device? when i click on item, opens real player and then receive massage "vedio steaming server time out!" is there any setup problem or this phone (N95)does not support this kind of vedio?

just to let people know for a fact what to do and to thank vishnu as his answer is the one!!! its definatly this....
(read to the bottom for extra info and alternate way)
    vishnu on 21 September 2008:
    Hi,
I was having the same problem.
    I fixed mine though.
It is down to the rtsp (real time streaming protocol)port which is 554.
If you set on your mobile
    lowest udp port:6970
    Highest udp port:6999
Then on your home router set up port range triggering/fowrding so that
port (554 to 554) is forwaded to port (6970 to 6999)
to find port fowarding/trigger you need to type your router ip adress into your webbrowser adress bar its usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
if you go to start then run and type cmd the enter when the black box apears (dos prompt) type ipconfig then enter. this will tell you your router address if you do not know it!
Also i only needed to specify a single port i.e 544 i did not need to put 544 -544 but some poeple will.
    Also i used this range 6970 - 32000
this means your phones original settings will work fine!!! aslongs as proxy is off lol but i think that has been stated enough!! the main thing is the port forwarding on your router!!!

    Thank you

Unfortunately you are somewhat at the mercy of the Youtube iframe and the Flash video player in it.
    Do this as a test.
Open your page in IE (FF is not a problem) and "disable" the Flash player.
In main IE browser menu...Tools/Manage Add-ons/Shockwave Flash Object.... "Disable".
Then test your page... images work just fine.
The problem is not your "container" code... but it's Flash content.
Most like it has to do with the wmode used for the Flash player... from an old article (there are now more wmodes):
Window Mode (wmode) - What's It For?There are three window modes.
    Window
    Opaque
    Transparent
By default, the Flash Player gets its own hWnd in Windows. This means that the Flash movie actually exists in a display instance within Windows that lives above the core browser display window. So though it appears to be in the browser window, technically, it isn't. It is most efficient for Flash to draw this way and this is the fastest, most efficient rendering mode. However, it is drawing independently of the browser's HTML rendering surface. This is why this default mode (which is equivalent to wmode="window") doesn't allow proper compositing with DHTML layers. This is why your JavaScripted drop-down menus will drop behind your Flash movie.
In windowless modes (like opaque), Flash Player doesn't have a hWnd. This means that the browser tells the Flash Player when and where to draw onto the browser's own rendering surface. The Flash movie is no longer being rendered on a higher level if you will. It's right there in the page with the rest of the page elements. The Flash buffer is simply drawn into whatever rectangle the browser says, with any Flash stage space not occupied by objects receiving the movie's background color.
Since you can't really change YouTube's iframe page, you may need to see if you could embed the video in a player where you can set the wmode yourself as one of the vid player params, move the video out of the way, or use javascript to "hide" the video player whenever an image is clicked.
    Javascript hide/show... for example:

plus tons of other examples on line.
