How to uniform volume on iPod??

My songs sound fine (well, a little scratchy since V7) but all have the same volume on iTunes. It's quite a different story when playing them back on my iPod. How can I make the songs all have the same volume? Some are incredibly quiet, so I turn it up, just to get blasted by the next song.
Help please?

SOUND CHECK is the fuction that controls the audio fuction you mention and SOUNDCHECK being turn on resolved the issue.
It's only common sense that it be turn on depending on which model Ipod you have.eg the Ipod Shuffle.
That's why your problem is resolved because I told you to turn on or alert you to SOUNDCHECK.
Otherwise you would have never gone to your Ipod to check the fuction. If you knew then why you post the problem on the site,I guess you forgot about that? SORRY is a good word for your case.

Different songs will often play at different volumes (whether they are from iTunes, vs burnt cds, etc) and I end up blowing out my eardrums momentarily until I can turn the volume down only to need to turn it up again on the next song....

It sounds like the iPod isn't restoring correctly. Try putting the it into Disk Mode manually and then restoring the iPod again as described in the article linked below.

How can I have uniform volume of audio for my vocal in FCPX?

Hello to all!
I have sung a song in GB and have imported the same into FCPX:
I had sung the first stanza at a higher volume than the second stanza, as you may discern from the screenshot above.
Can anyone tell me how I can get the audio volume of both the first and second stanzas to be of the same level?

I shall try to get in a clean audio from GB as you suggested.
Let me explain my need by this screenshot:
Arrow 1 is pointing to the audio file which was shown in my first screenshot in my opening post. Arrow 2 is the same audio file which I had edited in FCPX, and the effects I had added to the file can be seen in the inspector window. These effects have been able to bring about decrease in the audio levels of both the fist and second stanzas. Also, FYI, I was watching the audio meters peaks while the song was playing and had used the volume control parameter in the inspector window to bring down the volume wherever required [allowing them to hover between -6 to 0 db.
What I would like to have directions further would be this: How to have a uniform volume of audio throughout the audio using the various controls available in FCPX? My problem is this: even in the first stanza above, I have sung the first verses at a higher level than the latter part of the stanza! I have watched my music composer edit my 'completed vocal' in his editing software: he had some 'effect' by which he was able to have the entire audio clip have the same volume throughout...highs were brought down and the lows were brought up. I would like to know how to achieve such an effect in FCPX.

Whether they are suitable for creating a Timelapse sequence without significant flicker is entirely subjective and up to you - and of course, dependant on your specific images & how they change over time. Sorry, not much advice beyond try PV2012, and revert back to PV2010 if you get too much flicker.

Yes. You can sync an unlimited number of iDvies that you control to one iTunes library/account. If using the same iTunes library on the same comutr just make sure that yu go to the ap. music and other pane for the iPod in iTunes and select sycn selected items. Not the the whole library. That way each iPod can have it own contents.
