How to uninstall a toolbar? (It's not present in control Panel -- Uninstall Program list i.e. it's not in Program Files) More specifically It's Babylon toolbar.

I have a unwanted toolbar named Babylon. I want to uninstall it totally but I can't. I can't found in Program files. When I want a new tab, the new tab is loading with babylon website. I don't want so. Please help....

maybe 5 years ago there was no "accept solution" button or maybe the OP never came back to this thread or was too lazy to accept a solution?
To make that thread complete:
- all NI software is listed under "National Instruments" in the Software system settings
- the tool you're talking about is named "msiblast" and can be found here in the forum or by asking NI support

Theres a couple ways to uninstall programs. The launchpad is the rocket icon on the dock. If you open that you should see your apps spread out as icons as if it would be on a iphone or other iOS device. If you just click the icon with your mouse button and continue holding the mouse button the will shake and show the X. If you click that X it will ask if you want to delete the program. This only works for programs downloaded through the APP Store. If a program does not have an X then proceed to the next way of uninstalling

A notice now appears every time I upload an image to class as an attachment that says, Not Using SoftArtisan File UP, and this appears to be slowing down my uploads tremendously. By the way, be cautious about uninstalling any programs that Apple shipped with the computer, especially if you are new to the Mac.
For stuff you installed yourself, PlotinusVeritas' method works fine for many programs, but anything that came with an installer probably needs a more complicated uninstallation process. So do some programs that start off installation by drag-and-drop.

my macbook says that my start up disc is full and that i need to uninstall programs. i have no idea how to do that. for some reason i thought once i put the program from applications to the trash bin that that would deleted them (after i delete the trash bin) but they still seem to be on here because my husband says after i deleted some of his programs he was still able to use them and i still get the "start-up disc full" message.

Generally speaking programs are relatively small. It is usually the data files that take up more space. Of these data files, the worst offenders are usually music and photo that can eat a disk alive.
I would suggest you download an application called WhatSize. This will tell you exactly what is eating up the most disk space on your system. Then you can go through and either move them elsewhere or delete them.

To be clear:
It is generally safe to simply find the application and drag it to the trash. By far and away the majority of applications are self contained and trashing them is all you have to do to uninstall.
Now, there are some applications that install additional files. Most of these will place files either in /library/application support/ or /username/library/application support/. They're easy to find with Spotlight because the folders they reside in will usually have the name of the application or the manufacturer in them. For example, Adobe uses the Application Support folder. The Adobe files are in a folder called... you guessed it: Adobe.
The long and the short of it is that uninstalling applications on a Mac is nothing like uninstalling applications on a PC. There is no registry to mess with and most applications are very kind to the system and leave no weird additional files lying around that you have to hunt down and clean up.

Win 7 After uninstalling Firefox from Control Panel, "The action can't be completed because the folder or file in it is open in another program"

Update failed numerous times. Uninstalled FF using Control Panel. Followed instructions to delete the Mozilla folder from AppData/Local/Mozilla. Then the "Folder in Use" prompt comes up and I have to cancel the delete. Folder was created 4/8/2011, but I can't find the folder using the search command. Can't install a fresh install of Firefox 18. Using Windows 7 64-bit. I no longer have FireFox on my system that I can see.

     A driver with the following location:

i am getting this error when i process test from proxy services then i may use route and change it as Use Routing Options on the Service Callout and override the header (jca.file.FileName).
but the thing is when i test from Business services also i am getting the same garbage name on both window and linux.
