How to uninstall all CS6 apps at once

Hi there
Since the update yesterday to Creative Cloud my InDesign CS6 crashes on startup. In the CC-aqpp I see both the CS6 and CC version. I can't uninstall all CS6 apps at once & make a fresh start with the CC version do I? I can only uninstall the apps individually. And that costs me a lot of time!
Anyone ideas or solutions? Thanks!

Hi Peter,
If CS6 is a suite like Design Standard CS6 then you can uninstall all the apps at once from Control panel>> Uninstall a program in Windows or Applications>> Utilities>> Adobe installers in Mac.
However, if the software's were stand alone then you would need to uninstall all of them once by once from the same locations mentioned above.
Thanks!
Ankit

I want to know HOW to CLOSE Multiple Open Apps at ONCE. If I have many apps going at one time and want to stop fast, surely there is a way to hit like(alt-F4 in Windows) and BAM! They all go down. I need a feature like that...

Alt+F4 in Windows only closes the active program.
Command+Q does the same thing for Mac. Just keep hitting that key combo untill all are closed.

Unfortunately, there is not a way now to close all apps at once. You will have to close them one by one.

You cannot deauthorize all more than once per year.

How to recover all my apps purchased form App store on my new iphone ?

If your former iPhone or iOS device was backed up wirelessly with your Apple iCloud account, when going through the setup assistant with a new iPhone you are prompted to transfer the backup for another iPhone or iOS device. A record of all apps that are or were on the the other iOS device will be transferred to the new iPhone along with all other data included with the backup. Each app will be downloaded.
Or all apps can be re-downloaded manually by the iPhone one by one, or if all apps are in your iTunes library on your computer you can transfer the apps to the new iPhone via the iTunes sync process.

How do you close all opened apps? I do not think sliding the app card off the screen closes the app, so how do you completely close them?

    Direct answer: you can't.
Here is what the User Guide says:
To close an application or a screen, in Card view (see Manage
applications in Card view), throw the card off the top of the screen. If
cards are in a stack (see Work with stacked cards), you can only throw
    one card at a time.
You close the apps by throwing the card away, plain and simple.
@direstrates:  Are you asking how to kill all running apps with one command?  Only way I know how is by doing the two-finger reboot.

If you have 3rd party apps on a phone with 1.1.4, you must have a jailbroken phone. Discussion of those is heavily frowned on here. I recommend finding a forum that supports such phones.

  • ALL CS6 Apps Freeze When SAVING file to External HD

Ok Adobe, help me out here before I reconsider my longstanding glee with Master Suite CS4. I recently subscribed to the Creative Cloud, downloaded, installed and activated ALL applications. All applications have since been updated via the Adobe updater and no other updates show as available. Note: since first issue, this process has been repeated to ensure a complete and successful instal.
All applications open and are fully functional, with a few speed issues in Photoshop and Illustrator noticed so far.
Now, immediately upon installing CS6 via Creative Cloud, I can no longer SAVE any files, from any of the Adobe CS6 or CS4 apps to an external HD without the application freezing and completely crashing my system. If I click SAVE AS or work from any file on my local HD I don't have any issue, but I'm NOT going through life having to perform these multiple steps.
Once the Creative Cloud app freezes, my entire system freezes and I need to hard-restart the system. Not good...
Keep in mind, the issue appears only to happen when I'm working from a file located on any of the external HD's and trying to SAVE edits, etc. The first SAVE or SAVE AS seems to work without freeze.
NOTE: I only have issues with Adobe products and only since I installed them from the Creative Cloud. I also see that thousands of others are experiencing the same issue, but no Adobe fix has been supplied/suggested. I have not needed any Mac updates since BEFORE I installed from Creative Cloud and CS4 was working flawlessly up to the minute I subscribed to Creative Cloud.
    My system Info:
    - Mac OSX 10.7.4 (up to date and running flawlessly)
    - Apple Time Capsule setup as external HD (not used for Time Machine)
    - LaCie BigDisk external HD
    - All fonts have been validated and duplicate/broken fonts removed, cache cleaned, etc.
    - Open CL in Photoshop disabled with no positive results.
    - Auto save is OFF on system
    Questions:
    1. Why did Creative Cloud install completely new CS6 apps and not upgrade to overwrite the existing CS4 apps?
    2. How do we upgrade from CS4 to Creative Cloud without having two installs; previous and new versions of apps?
    3. What is the fix?
    4. Loyalty and enthusiasm are waning - please reply ASAP.
Long time Adobe customer - Thanks, AZH

No Adobe upgrade, except Acrobat will ever replace the old install. This has nothing to do with Creative Cloud.

  • How do I reinstall CS6 Apps under CC

I'm unable to update my CS6 apps (Firworks, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator within CC. They were all downloaded and installed from CC when I subscribed.
This is what the failure looks like:
One of the proposed troubleshooting solutions is to uninstall and reinstall these apps. I have no problem with this, but where can I get the CS6 apps from to reinstall? They no longer appear as available for installaion in CC. Thanks in advance for help.

  • How do I remove CS6 App Manager under CC

I'm running OS X Mavericks, and have CC installed, along with CS6. Amongst the many (many) issues that I've encountered with CC, I noticed that I still get the CS6 menulet in the menu bar, as well as the CC menulet.
How can I remove the CS6 menulet, so that I'm left ONLY with the CC version. When I launch CS6 App Manager, it switches immediately to the CC app manager, so I can't access the CS6-specific preferences.
The CC manage shows me all my CS6 and CC products, so why does the CS6 manager insist on wasting space and CPU cycles in my menu bar?
Has anyone managed to turn this off?

    Mmm ... just me then?
Well, if anyone else is having the same issue, I have found a way around it.
I opened Dreamweaver CS6, chose 'Check for updates' from the Help menu, and the CS6 manager popped up – from there, I could set the preferences correctly.
All sorted now. Not sure if it will work with other CS6 apps (I think I can remember InDesign CS6 opening the CC app manager), but give it a try.

  • Uninstall all cs4 apps. except Indesign?

    Hello.
    I'm running cs4 on mac osx 10.5.8
I would like to free up room on my HD.
I only use Indesign......and would like to keep past projects and create new ones.
I went to start the "uninstall" feature on one of the other apps and it looked like certain adobe things that might be needed for Indesign were listed so I cancelled.
The question is can I uninstall ALL the other apps in cs4 without it effecting past or future indesign projects???
    Thank you.
    Rich

    Thank you Willi and Bob........
    Why did I buy it?............ha ha...good question.
I'm and electrician and also do all forms of construction.......I need a way to write invoices, proposals, fliers, business cards........I made a call
I forget where, it was 4 or 5 yrs back, and the gentelman said I need indesign.............which has been working out for me, I'm not sure if at the thime I could have just did indesign or if the gentleman talked me into cs4..... maybe that. I was probably thinking I could also put out my own stuff on the internet....
also, I play a bit of music so I thought I would be able to you the other apps one way ore another..... I think at the time also,,t here was a sale if you had students...which I did.
Why do I want to make rid of them...
As mentioned I do music also... the pro tools, logic, reason and plugins...well the mac pro I have has a 250g hard drive...........In the readings over the years it was mentioned not to over load the hard drive with apps over a certain percentage.......that turned into haveing 100 g of free space.
I was at about 86g of free space and thought about house cleaning to try to get it to 100....I got it to about 93 g free.....
I'm not having any issues, so I may as well keep the cs4... as Bob mentioned, how much am I really going to free up....
Thank you Willi for getting so deep in it.....
Oh my, before I fade away...........if I removed the mentioned apps, do you think I would pic up 7 g?
And again, if I decided I wanted the apps back, couldn't the discs I have put them back in.or it doesn't work that way anymore???
    Thanks again guys.
