I recently bought a new computer because my old one crashed. All that I have that is usable is the hard drive. Thank God. However, I cannot uninstall and deactivate my PS elements 11 from that computer to put in on my new one. I've call several numbers for adobe help and nobody seems to be willing to help. Can I please get some help with this?

Have you copied your content over from your old computer and onto the new on ? If not, and you still have your old computer, then there a number of methods described on this page which you can use to copy your library over : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 . If you no longer have your old computer then have you got a backup of your content that you can copy onto the new computer and add into iTunes ?

My old laptop and desktop apparently are still listed as active. My old laptop is no longer active and has not been for over a year and a half so elements is not used on that computer. How do i activate this version of PSE on this laptop so I can upgrade the product? My old laptop no longer turns on so I cannot turn it on and deactivate the product. Thanks.

Same answer as in your other post. Only Activation Support can reset your activations, so you'll just have to wait it out or try again another day.

I recently got a new computer to replace my old one which stopped working. I had Photoshop Elements 9 installed on the old computer and used it often, so I installed it on my new computer. However, it told me that the serial number had been used for 2 computers already (my old computer and my dad's computer) and that I needed to deactivate the old one before I can activate this one. This is impossible because the old computer can't be used anymore.
Is there some way the serial number on my old computer could be deactivated online?

Hello, I have a problem with Activation. My computer was broken and I had my Photoshop Elements 9 installed in it. Now I want to activate my PSP ELements 9 on new computer. It says "Activation limit reached for Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. " And it wants me to deactivate my PSP ELements on the broken computer or a new serial number. I have tried everything......including Best Removal Tool with forced uninstall and I still cannot get all of the files off Vista so I can reinstal iTunes. Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair".
Does iTunes launch properly now?

I found a way to edit a command line that was supposedly going to manipulate the program to make my modified photos save as the originals.
Do you mean you modified the application (program) or the library? If it's the application reinstall the app from the App Store. If you just modified the library then you'll have to do what Larry recommends.
You could try rebuilding the library as follows:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.>Click on the Add Library button,
2 - select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
3 - make sure that in the rebuild window the checkbox "Scavange orphaned photos" is checked.
4 - now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
5 - in the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed. Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.
If the rebuild library isn't any better than the current library you can trash it.

On picture A, use one of the selection tools (e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, etc.) to select the object
Go to Edit menu>copy to place the object on the clipboard
Open picture B
Go to Edit menu>paste
Get the move tool out of the toolbox, and position the object and resize with the corner handles of the bounding box

before you go to the trouble of uninstalling/reinstalling--try this (it's called resetting the preferences)

There is a quick and easy method for doing this using the keyboard: close and relaunch InDesign, and IMMEDIATELY hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or Cmd + Ctrl + Opt + Shift (Mac), and respond in the affirmative to the dialog asking if you really want to replace the preferences. There are two downsides to this method, however. First, you must be extremely fast on the keyboard (if you don’t see the confirmation prompt, you were too slow), and second, anytime you replace the preferences you will lose most program customizations, and using the keyboard method leaves you with no backup to restore them when the problem turns out to be something else.
My preferred method is to CLOSE INDESIGN and do a “manual” prefs replacement, which consists of finding and renaming the two files which make up the preference set: InDesign Defaults and InDesign SavedData. BOTH of these files should be replaced at the same time. You can delete them, but renaming or moving them will give you the opportunity to copy them back in the event that new prefs doesn’t cure your issue. When you restart ID, the program will look for these two files, and when they are not found, a new default set will be written.

If you have a CD for your product (I assume that is where you got the serial number from!!) then you can insert it in the drive on your new machine and install it in the usual way.
If the new machine hasn't got a CD/DVD drive then you can use another machine and copy the contents of the CD to a flash drive and use the USB port on the new machine to install the product.
Of course you can buy an external DVD drive and use it as well if that is what you want to do.
If, however, you don't have a CD for your product then I am afraid it is difficult to download it from Adobe website.
