How to uninstall broken app (DropBox) from iPad

Hi,
I tried to install Dropbox on my iPad Air but I don't think it installed properly as the icon never appeared on the home screen. If I look at dropbox in Apps it says it is installed, but if I click the open button it doesn't do anything. I assume it hasn't installed correctly so I would like to uninstall it and try again. However I can't see how to uninstall it as the icon isn't on my home screen. Can anyone help?

Go to Settings > General > Usage > if the app does not appear in the list, Show all Apps...tap the app and Delete App.

You left out a very important fact in your first post...you are seeing this in the App Store, correct? I was assuming you were just at your iPad's home screen and trying to delete the Apps.
The list you see in the App Store in regards to updates that you've downloaded is a list that cannot be modified nor changed. It's simply meant as an informative list of any updates you've downloaded and when the update was installed. The list will start dropping these updates off after a couple of weeks or so.

I have downloaded games but have deleted them. Or thought I did, but holding the icon down then hitting the X when it popped up but I still keep getting charged for renewal to certain games. Did I delete it wrong or is it an iTunes error?

After establishing the Credit Card account, you can remove the credit card information by editing your payment info, choosing "None".

I don't know about uninstalling an app from a web page but if all else fails you could try recovering with the Nokia lumia recovery tool.

Hello iPad users.. would you like to lend some help on how you can retrieve the YouTube default icon from iPad? I no longer see it in my homescreen which I was wondering why... I would like to retrieve it. I did go to the App store to find it but the YouTube app from Google is very small and when you push 2x its pixelated.
The YouTube app coming from iPad which was installed right before you buy it was the one I am looking for and I can't seem to find it.. Please I need your help and thanks so much for any assistance you can give..

iOS 6 no longer has the native YouTube app. All there is (for now) is the iPhone version that you found. Supposedly Google is working on an iPad version of this app.
