How to uninstall disconnetc.me in firefox?

i recently installed disconnect.me on my pc and hate the way it works , blocks way to much and is very difficult if not imposable to keep things unblocked . i.e. finding facebook on google .
my problem is i can find no way to uninstall this add on

How to uninstall and reinstall if firefox is my only internet connection

getting directed to bad place when accessing internet. Did virus scan, found nothing.
How can I uninstall and reinstall firefox since I have no other internet connection. I DO NOT was to load internet explorer.

Here's what I suggest for tracking it down:
(1) Open the Windows '''Control Panel''', Uninstall a Program. After the list loads, click the "Installed on" column heading to group the infections, I mean, additions, by date. This can help in smoking out undisclosed bundle items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Take out as much trash as possible here.
(2) Then, in Firefox, open the '''Add-ons page''' using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. Set nonessential and unrecognized plugins to "Never Activate".
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable (or Remove, if possible) unrecognized and unwanted extensions.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
(3) Check your '''Firefox connection setting''' in the Options dialog here:

The default of "Use system proxy settings" should piggyback on your Windows/IE "LAN" connection settings, but you also can try "No Proxy" to see whether that works better.

How to uninstall extensions from outside firefox

If Firefox won't launch/open/start even in safe mode, is there a way to edit the profile directory to get rid of selected extensions?
My prob is resolved for now I think, but would like to know this for future reference

So, since, as Mozilla is registering I'm with 3.6.3 now because no doubt my uninstall was incomplete["Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3"], uninstalling Session Manager [which had worked fine in 3.5.15] fixed the problem.

In general Adobe needs to offer Ubuntu (Linux) support. I don't use Windows anymore and will go with whatever company provides me the Plug In's I need to function. They didn't offer any help with Ubuntu 10.045 (Linux). Please offer the instructions and automatic (non-terminal) uninstaller. Also, I want an automatic installer for Ubuntu 10 (Linux) & Firefox 3.6 that is easy like like you have for Windows and like Sun's Java has for Linux.

The versions you are listing (10.0 r12, 10.0 r2) appear to be Shockwave Plauer versions, not Flash Player.
If you want to uninstall Flash Player, there should be an uninstaller in the install directory. I do not know where that is on Linux.

As a workaround, you could open PDFs in the Adobe Reader application rather than in the plugin. To try this:
In Adobe Reader, open Edit > Preferences
In the left column, choose Internet
In the right pane, ''uncheck'' "Display PDF in browser"
If you have the full version of Acrobat, make the same change there.

How to uninstall the "default" Firefox plugins?

I installed firefox from the extra repo. Sadly, it came with a bunch of plugins preinstalled (e.g., a Windows and Quicktime plugin). Primary reason I moved to Arch was to be able to install only what I want. This is not conducive to that.
Anybody know how to uninstall the plugins?
I read pacman manual and played around with pacman -Ql and -Qi etc. I also tried looking for some package that contained all the plugins. But I wasn't successful.

How to uninstall Firefox if Add/Remove programs won't work?

My Firefox is completely unresponsive. I can't get a browser or anything. I just grabbed the application folder and threw it in the trash, because the add/remove program function did nothing. I also cannot download the newest version of Firefox. It tries, but then says, "Your download was interrupted".
How can I make sure I've removed ALL of the old Firefox and what can I do to download the new one?

How to Uninstall firefox 3.6.25 with Firefox 25.01 is installed?

I found the 3.6.25 version under the startup menu and cannot figure out how to uninstall it. it is not in the control panel add/remove, only one from add/remove is version 25 and I dont want that removed. i have even gone into regedit but no uninstall was found for that version which makes me more uncomfortable. I need help, Thanks!

Where is the webpage that tells you how to uninstall Firefox on the Mac?

I installed FF 4 on my Mac just to discover that I could not run Google Gears on it. So I need to uninstall FF4 and install FF 3.6. I searched for a page and to tell me how to do this an found one at http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Uninstalling%20Firefox. After doing part of the process and removing FF4 but not the profile I went back to this page in Safari. But not the instructions change and it is telling me how to uninstall on a PC. So how do I find the Mac uninstall page when FF is not installed on my Mac.

How do i get my old firefox back? i installed and uninstalled Aurora and it took everything with it.

How to uninstall Firefox when it still says it's running

I have checked all the troubleshooting suggestions to get Firefox running correctly again. Finally decided I just need to completely remove it and download a fresh copy.
Problem is when I try to uninstall the program it tells me "Firefox must be closed to proceed with the uninstall, please close firefox to continue."
I have, it's not showing up in any of the processes that are running. Any advice?

Firefox is highly customizable and you may be able to customize it to meet your needs.
If you do not like the new UI, you can make Firefox 4 look and behave more like Firefox 3.6, for details see http://www.computertechtips.net/64/make-firefox-4-look-like-ff-3-6
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
