How to uninstall Firefox. There apears to be no uninstall program for Mozillla Firefox on my computer. I've tried everything suggested and nothing works.
I have done everything your web site says to do to uninstall Firefox. Nothing works. Windows message says no Mozilla Firefox uninstall program on my computer. Do I need a special download from you to uninstall?
Struggling with this issue, I'm surprised by the absence of an uninstaller.
Have tried all the suggested steps and nothing worked. It is frustrating.
My reaction is "never again". Once I get this program off my system, I'll
stay away from Mozilla.

I have tried everything suggested and still cannot load websites after updating firefox
I have a Mac Pro. I just updated to Firefox 3.6.11. After that, I could not access most of my web sites. At first Yahoo.com would come up with just what looked like the basics - all information in separate lines and no pictures. Somehow that resolved itself. I can go to Yahoo and Facebook and a few other places, but most of the other websites come up with Server Not Found. At first I couldn't even get to Mozilla.com! I can get on these websites using my PC and Explorer. I have tried all of the suggestions on the Mozilla webpage and have checked out the firewall on my Mac.

Theres a couple ways to uninstall programs. The launchpad is the rocket icon on the dock. If you open that you should see your apps spread out as icons as if it would be on a iphone or other iOS device. If you just click the icon with your mouse button and continue holding the mouse button the will shake and show the X. If you click that X it will ask if you want to delete the program. This only works for programs downloaded through the APP Store. If a program does not have an X then proceed to the next way of uninstalling

Yes, some people don't like the slightest trace left behind. But, for the novice user, the PLIST files are not a big deal. They don't take-up much space, and are not worth accidentally deleting the wrong file for a novice.

I am a new mac user so I am not familiar with how to uninstall this type of program thru the Terminal. I have read through what followed with it but it was too difficult for me to understand unfortunately. Below is what it says about how to uninstall "Disk for iPhone":
*Uninstalling Disk for iPhone*
*1. Double-click the Disk for iPhone disk image file*
*2. Open the Terminal application*
*3. Run the uninstall script*
Example:

I have tried to run the uninstall commando for Terminal but failed removing it from my mac after typing my password. A guy from a different forum told me to add sudo before sh. Here is the result so far:

I don't know what version you have, but you cannot install a Windows edition on a Mac, you need the Mac edition.
If you have Photoshop CS6, you can swap it for a Mac version, otherwise you would have to purchase a full Mac version ($700) or enroll in the $10 per month Photography program from Adobe to use Photoshop CC.

By the way, be cautious about uninstalling any programs that Apple shipped with the computer, especially if you are new to the Mac.
For stuff you installed yourself, PlotinusVeritas' method works fine for many programs, but anything that came with an installer probably needs a more complicated uninstallation process. So do some programs that start off installation by drag-and-drop. -
I do not know how to install Firefox 4.0; I get as far as Setup and then I am lost.
I have a desktop PC and I've received e-mails about updating to firefox 4.0. I've tried several times and have not been successful. I get as far as SETUP and cannot get to installing the update.
Fonts are handled by your operating system and installed through the respective System Control panel (Windows) or Fontbook (Mac). On Windows simply type "Fonts" in the search bar in the start menu and when you open the panel/ folder use File --> Add Font. On Mac the procedures are similar, you just need to find the Fontbook app in Applications:Utilities.

I have tried to follow recommendations - I deleted firefox and downloaded the newest version. I tried to go to help and to select something but nothing opens. I have been trying for two days to solve this and NOTHING works. With no one to talk to it is truly exasperating. The tool bar comes up but nothing on it works. I just upgraded to Lion. I was trying to set up iCloud and it asked for my "login" keychain password. I've never been asked for the keychain password before. I've tried every password I can think of and nothing works. I'm normally asked for the password to my machine when upgrading software, signing on, etc. but this is different apparently. I tried the same password and it didn't work either. I read a couple of posts and they all want to take me through Applications/Utilities but that requires knowing your password in order to change it. I don't know it. Don't remember ever setting up a keychain password. Does anyone know how to change the keychain password if you don't know the keychain password???
Most of the time your Keychain password is the same as your login password. If you configured your computer to log you in automatically, you may not have used your login password in so long you forgot it.
There is no way to retrieve the "login" Keychain password, but you can reset the Keychain from the Preferences menu: select it in the Keychain Access menu and select "Reset My Default Keychain". This will create a new, empty Keychain but the old one will be saved should you ever remember its password.
The result of this is that you will have to supply passwords for everything that requires it, since without your Keychain they will no longer automatically fill themselves. However, once you supply them and store them in your new Keychain, they will be remembered. -
I plug my iphone 3gs into my laptop and it no longer syncs with my iTunes. I've tried all the trouble shooting methods and nothing works. My iPhone doesn't appear on iTunes or under "My Computer." Does anyone know how to fix this?
If AMDS is running, you are using a USB port directly on the computer and not a hub, you have disconnected other USB devices except keyboard and mouse, you have completely uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes as described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925, You have tried cleaning the connector on the bottom of the phone, you have tried a different cable, you have installed the latest USB drivers for your computer, you have disabled your antivirus and firewall, you are running as an Administrator account and you have tried creating a new user on your computer and connected when logged in as that user then you have exhausted my knowledge. The only other thing to try is a different computer. If it isn't recognized on a different computer you have a hardware problem. Good luck!

I recently did a manual reboot after my MacBook Pro had frozen, and instead of the usual Apple and loading icon, it gave me the flashing question mark on a folder, which I've never encountered before. I looked up some possible reasons on my PC, and after reading that there's a problem with my HD I tried looking up how to back up my files so that I can do a clean reinstall of Yosemite (latest ver.). However, I've never used anything like Time Machine or anything else that could back up all my files, so it didn't sound like I could do anything about that at this point. I've also tried going into Disk Utility and attempting to repair the disk image. There was only 2 available, disk0 and the base system. I verified the base system, and told me there was nothing wrong (it didn't give me the option to repair anything either, on both available options). I don't think this is the right thing though, since my drive was called MacBook Pro HD. So basically this is the point I'm at now. Is there anything I can do that will repair my HD without erasing all my files?
