How to uninstall firefox tv

When I open Firefox or open a new tab, I get Firefox TV! http://www.outfox.tv/?referid=130
How do I get rid of it! The Firefox TV "Uninstall does nothing and there is no application under Control Panel for removing applications. It refers you to a uninstaller link which Norton blocks! http://www.outfox.tv/OutfoxTVRemover.exe
I really, really really hate this POS!

There are other things that need your attention.
Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.
Delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

As a workaround, you could open PDFs in the Adobe Reader application rather than in the plugin. To try this:
In Adobe Reader, open Edit > Preferences
In the left column, choose Internet
In the right pane, ''uncheck'' "Display PDF in browser"
If you have the full version of Acrobat, make the same change there.

I installed FF 4 on my Mac just to discover that I could not run Google Gears on it. So I need to uninstall FF4 and install FF 3.6. After doing part of the process and removing FF4 but not the profile I went back to this page in Safari. But not the instructions change and it is telling me how to uninstall on a PC. So how do I find the Mac uninstall page when FF is not installed on my Mac.

It goes by you useragent to tey and serve a page based on it. To get another OS or Firefox version just look at the right of articles where it says '''Help with:''' and click on the OS and Firefox to change accordingly.
I use Firefox on Linux so it serves me a page for Linux users yet I may want to sometimes change it for Windows when helping Windows users.

I have checked all the troubleshooting suggestions to get Firefox running correctly again. Finally decided I just need to completely remove it and download a fresh copy.
Problem is when I try to uninstall the program it tells me "Firefox must be closed to proceed with the uninstall, please close firefox to continue."
I have, it's not showing up in any of the processes that are running. Any advice?

How to uninstall firefox 4, MouseControl Add-on? I got to the add-on managing page, but the 'remove' , 'disable', or 'option' button doesn't respond to mouse clicking on it

While on Firefox browser, the MouseControl add-on prevented me to open my yahoo mail and access buttons and tabs and keyboard functions on some pages. When clicked on certain button/box, nothing is recognized. I can't disable or remove this add-on, because I can't click on the 'disable' nor 'remove' buttons; the command is not recognized! I decided to uninstall Firefox 4. When re-install Firefox 4, the MouseControl Add-on was not removed and all the problems are still there.

Hi so sorry about this problem. There was a warning (for unexpected behavior) when changing the button configuration but I agree that's not an excuse. Please uninstall it by restarting your browser in safe mode. Use the keyboard press Alt+H, this opens the help menu, use your arrow keys to move down to "Restart with addons disabled", then uninstall it from there, also please check out v1.5, this version resolves this stuck mouse issue.

How to uninstall Firefox App that crashes Asus everytime it runs

For the last versions of Firefox on Android, Firefox crashes my Asus TF300T app everytime it is run. Either being run through clicking on a link (as it was set as the default browser), or if I manually run the app. The app also crashes my tablet when I try to uinstall it. This is the only app on my tablet that does this and I now run Chrome with no problem. As of right now, I have no way of removing the Firefox App without reimaging my Android. Is there another way to remove this app?

If you are unable to remove Firefox for some reason, you can at least change your default browser. Scroll down in Apps/Firefox and in the Launch by Default section tap the Clear defaults button. The next time you tap a hyperlink, Android should prompt you to choose an application.

I installed firefox 4 to play applications in Face Book. It keeps crashing. I never had this problem with firefox 3.6.13. The Box containing "This happened" I put Every time Firefox opened because the ones do not apply. But it doesn't happen everytime firefox opens, just when I'm playing in my games in Face Book, sometimes as soon as I load a game, sometimes in the of the game, and mostly when I visit neighbors.

Make sure you do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data" as that option will delete all of your bookmarks, passwords etc.
You can re-install Firefox 3.6.15 from http://www.mozilla.com though judging by your user agent string you still have 3.6.15 installed.

Your problem is caused by the Ask Toolbar which you have installed. There are compatibility issues between Ask and Firefox at the moment.
Please do the following to ensure a clean installation.

Regarding your personal settings and data, if you want to preserve your bookmarks, at least make a copy of the bookmarkbackups folder before removing the rest of your settings.

I updated to Yosemite on my iMac. Firefox then began to freeze. I uninstalled Firefox and then downloaded/installed it again. It's possible I uninstalled everything Mozilla related. I'm not sure. How do I recover bookmarks, passwords, etc? I don't believe I previously had a username & password for Mozilla. I do have my Mac backed up in Time machine and also a Carbon Copy Clone.
Also, I was able to migrate setting from Safari. Perhaps I don't want some of that stuff? Looking at the list of installed plugins, I have no clue if they're standard Apple/Mozilla stuff, or if they were selected by me/my family earlier in Safari? Are any of them a threat to my online security?
Any detailed instruction would be most appreciated. I'm not much of a tech guy.
