How to uninstall Linksys software / undo changes made by setup CD?

I just installed the WRT54GL router for use with my Dell laptop. I tried (twice) to install using the provided Linksys Setup Wizard CD-ROM, esp. since the documentation was adamant that you *MUST* run the CD-ROM before attempting to use the router. Unfortunately, the install program hung on me twice (each time at the point you enter the router password), so I ended up configuring the router manually. (BTW - your help files on setting up the router for DSL were not correct for me; since the SBC DSL modem does the logon, I had to setup up the router as DHCP, not as PPoE as documented.)
After setting up the WRT54GL, the installed Intel 3945ABG Pro/Wireless software now would not start immediately after logging on to the laptop, but instead now had a delay of 3 minutes or so before attempting to connect. In addition several Yahoo Widgets apps that had worked fine before (with a borrowed Netgear wireless router) could no longer access the internet.
Yesterday I used Windows Restore to go back to a restore point prior to me running the Setup CD-ROM. This resolved the Intel Pro/Wireless delay, but I am still unable to get Yahoo Widgets to work.
So - I need help to (1) undo the damage that the Setup CD did to my wireless configuration (not clear if this includes removing any SW), and/or (2) determine my Yahoo Widgets cannot connect to the internet, when it worked fine with my previous Netgear router and the same DSL line.

Oh, PLEASE IGNORE the line:
deleted everything under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\SYSTEM (folders 0000 to 0004)
That was left there inadvertedly. Can't seem to find the edit button here...

Hi
Is there a way to undo changes made to repository objects and dictionay objects after you have imported a support package.
Let us consider this with an example. Let us assume that there is a standard SAP report called S1 v1. Which after a support package application and after confirming the queue it becomes S1 v2. Now if for some reason after say 2-3 days we are not comfortable with S1 v2 and want S1 v1 again can we get back the old standard SAP report. If so then how?
Also if there is a change made in a Dictionary object, is there a way to revert these changes on a similar line? Id so then how.

Hi Lokesh,
If you have maintained versions for perticular report then you can revert it back to the previous version.
Ask your ABAPer for the same.
You can always retrieve the previous version if you have maintained the version.
It is applicable for the dictionary objects too, but you may loose data in case of changing version for database tables.

SAP written lots of programs inside the Extractor, so it is not possible to tell how it will work, so you goto RSA2 in ecc and give the datasource and click on display and see the Function module and debug it you will know.

How to uninstall unwanted software, get consistent internet?

Trying to work with an older g3 ibook (v 2.2, 800 mhz, SDRAM 512, OS X.2.8, built in ethernet, no firewire), not very familiar with macs. How do I uninstall unwanted software?
On PCs, there are system restore options or launchable uninstall files. Can't find out how to get rid of a d-link driver. (Did not work at all for me)
Had trouble connecting to the nternet over ethernet before the d-link driver installation, too. Worked for a bit, restarted, then didn't want to work (now an another computer). This ibook has had other internet connection problems associated with it (previous user complaints).

The iBook does have a FireWire port.
To uninstall an unwanted d-link driver, drag it to the trash and empty the trash.
You may want to download the iBook (Dual USB) Multilingual User's Guide (Manual) to help you figure things out. (Clicking on the link downloads the PDF.)
Mac 101 and Switch 101 may provide some helpful tips, too. Although written for the current OS (OS X 10.4), many of the concepts are the same.

How to uninstall the software

I tried the trial version, liked it, bought the hard copy. Can't just put the serial number on. I called said I had to install it again from the disk....but I could not do it it keep giving me a window........saying : Critical errors were found in setup - Incompatible payloads already installed Please see the Setup log file for details.
I trashed the trial version completely, but still not working, just could not pass this stage. Called Adobe many times, each time transfer me from one person to another, each time waiting for at lease 40 minutes............very frustrated. Almost thinking forget about this software, give me my money back. Last request.......HELP.......I don't have those software call Clean Sweep to uninstall the software, it doesn't seem right I have to get another software to install this one.

Adobe Utilities - 2 folders in there ..Adobe Updater5 and ExtenScript Toolkit2
Not thing in there that I could uninstall the software.
After 45 minutes on the waiting the customer services transfer me to "highly trained tech support" and
I am on the phone after 2 hours still waiting someone to help me............

Yes, I use it frequently. I'm careful to look at what it's 'zapping,' though. I've never had a problem with it bringing up things that should not be deleted. In my opinion, it's a nice little app... much better than finding associated files than something such as the dreaded MacKeeper, for instance.
Just my opinion - but it works for me quite well.

How to "undo" changes made by RFPOSXEXTEND?

Hi All
It is a weird question.
Using SPRO (financial accounting->accounts receivable and accounts payable->customer accounts-> line items --> display line items --> define additional fields for line item display ) I had defined 2 new fields and after this I ran RFPOSXEXTEND.
The problem is that this program created not only this 2 new fields at RFPOSXEXT, but also some fields that were at RFPOSX.
Now I want to remove all fields, because the modification did not work as we expected.
I was able to remove the 2 fields using SPRO above, but I am not able to remove fields that I guess that came from RFPOSX.
More information:
SAP 4.7
fields that I was able to remove:
ANLN1
ANLN2
fields that I guess that came from structure RFPOSX and I wasn't able to remove:
EXT_KEY
PROCESSOR
PRIORITY_TEXT
STAT_ORDERNO_TEXT

If you look at the documentation for the program RFPOSXEXTEND,
Program RFPOSXEXTEND combines structure RFPOSXEXT from the fields of structure RFPOSX and the special fields saved in table T021S together and activates them in the Data Dictionary.
Meaning any fields in RFPOSX that did not previously exist in RFPOSXEXT will be also included... And when you removed the two fields from SPRO, this fields were removed, but not the fields coming from RFPOSX...
If you are running this in development systems and if RFPOSXEXT is attached to change request you could retrieve the older version (thus ensuring that RFPOSXEXT retains the old fields)...I would consult with your FI consultant, before making any changes and you should also post in ERP financials forum before going with the above approach.
You should also check with your FI consultant to find out the negative effect of retaining those additional 4 fields? Are you getting any runtime errors? If you are not getting any errors, I would stay the course and not worry about the additional fields

Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Most applications create preference files which are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can located them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term.
There are also several shareware utilities that can uninstall applications:

How to uninstall/delete software not installed through Pacman.

I tried to search for an answer, with limited success. I have installed some stuff from external sources using various installers. In particular, I installed some stuff from Humble Bundle which, if I recall correctly, used this automated installer called Nixstaller, which I thought would register the packages in Pacman. And when I look at the website, it says that if it fails to register the software in the package manager, it will generate an uninstall script. I installed e.g. Torchlight in /usr/local/games, but there is no uninstall script to be found there, or in the generated folder in /home. Neither does it seem to be registered in Pacman. So how do I get rid of it? Is there a way to uninstall it, or would I have to remove everything manually? If I have to remove it manually, how do I know where everything is located? I assume the installation isn't necessarily limited to the /usr/local/games folder I picked and /home, so how would I go about getting rid of it all?

Not to my knowledge. You can ask pacman to show you ALL files not owned by a package and then begin to manually delete ones you feel do not belong. Note that you should NOT just blindly start removing these!

How do you update file name changes made it iTunes to the actual file?

I have changed some song names in iTunes but these change are not being made to the actual file. It worked yesterday when I changes the file name in iTunes the file name was also changed. Can someone please give me some advice.

Now it's taking hours for emails.

Undoing changes made to my audio driectories made by Itunes

Greetings,
Please excuse my ignorance. I just purchased and received my first IPod (80GB Video). I installed Itunes. I have over 20GB of audio that I needed to transfer. I opened Itunes and allowed it to import these files. It renamed many of the directories and placed several of the files in new directories with names different that what I had before. I need to get things back to how they were before I allowed Itunes to make these changes. Is there anyway that I can do that?

Sorry, but I don't know of any way to reverse those changes other than to do it manually, i.e. rearrange the tracks and folders back to the way you want them, uncheck the preference in iTunes to have it keep the folder organized (iTunes Advanced preferences) and then clear the library and re-add all the tracks. Unless someone else here has a suggestion for a shortcut, that's probably want you're going to have to do.
