How to Uninstall(Revert) SAPGUI 7.10 patches alone from a PC

Hello All,
I am having SAPGUI 7.10 client and now I have installed the GUI patch level 11 in my PC. Since I am facing some issues, I would like to revert this patch alone to GUI 10 instead of completely reinstalling the SAPGUI application.
Kindly let me know the steps to remove a SAP GUI patch alone from the PC.

Hello Sarin,
it's not possible to remove just the patch, as patching the SAPGUI brings newer versions of existing files and older version are not stored somewhere.
So if you really want to go back to Patch 10 from 11 you have to uninstall SAPGUI and make a new installation of Patch 10.
But: What issues do you face with patch 11? Maybe they are fixed in Patch 12?

I just bought a new car. Hyundia Hybrid. My bluetooth is not Reconizing my command to call a contact. I've been back to the dealer and no luck. When speaking to Bluetooth support directly he doesn't see Version 6.1. and suggested going back to Version 5.1 which is documented to be compatable with my Iphone 4s.

How to uninstall trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro from a mac?

I installed a trial version Adobe Acrobat Pro from the Creative Cloud list on my Mac Pro 10.7.5. First, although I was supposed to have a 30 day free trial, it expired immediately. Worse, every time I try to open my former Adober Acrobat, I get prompted to buy a yearly subscription to Acrobat pro and cannot use my older version. I have tried various ways to uninstall the Acrobat Pro version and to get back to normal, with no success. Anyone out there to help or must I spend money on an international call to ask Adobe what to do? It seems that they have shut down their "chat" service. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. How to uninstall a third party home button widget from 5c ?

Hey there
I have just bought my wife a new 5C.
Previous to this she had an iphone 4 that had a third party home button widget installed (due to the home button on the handset crapping out a while back)
I have done a restore on the new 5c from the latest backup from the old 4 and the third party home button widget is now on the new phone. Obviously she doesnt need it as the home button on the 5c handset works fine (for now!)
Can any one tell me how to get rid of it ? I cant figure it out for the life of me !

If it's Apple's built-in "widget", it is called "Assistive Touch" and can be found in the "Accessibility" settings.
1) Open the "Settings" app
2) Select "General"
3) Select "Accessibility"
4) Scroll to the bottom of the list, tap "Assistive Touch" and turn it off.
5) The "widget" should now be gone!

How do I revert to OS 10.6.8 from OS 10.8.3

I thought that upgrading to the latest version of OS would be an advantage. I did it for no other reason than to be up to date, and besides, I liked the Launchpad feature.
DON"T DO IT!
I found that instead of giving me more features, the upgrade was like going from Classic OS9 to OS10.X. All my favorite programmes either will not run or they have lost important features that I was using every day! Problems like:
1. Luxor will not run at all. This is the only game I've ever played on the Mac.
2. Password (A program containing all my passwords) will not run. (I'm hooped without it!)
3. Preview has lost the Linking feature from the Annotate toolbar.
4. What else is Apple NOT telling us about?
If I had thought that any of these programs would not work, I would have left well enough alone at system 10.6.8! Thanks for shafting me, Apple, with a bunch of bugs in the software. If these aren't bugs, then I definitly want back to 10.6.8. HOW DO I DO THAT from time machine?

It's been widely known for several years now that OS versions above 10.6 do not support PPC apps.
This will depend of course on having a TM backup from before you did the upgrade. If you've been using the computer for a while since the upgrade, it may have been deleted.

I have been sort of an apple product faithful since the introduction of iPhone 2.
Every gadget I had is mostly apple, I always have faith in Apple in delivering the best user experience (though not the best hardware most of the time), was even waiting to buy iPhone 5 (black and white) and the iPad mini (if its launching)
Since the introduction of IOS 6, i am very disappointed and my faith in them took a nose-dive:(
I can understand maps will take time to improve, but removing a feature like YouTube which has part of IOS since its introduction is another. If Apple wants to remove such a core feature, they can at least inform customers before they update or offer a solution to revert back within a reasonable time frame.

How can I revert Firefox back to previous settings from 10 days ago?

Plug-ins are installed either in the
System Library Application Support folder
/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/
or in your User Library Application Support folder.
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/
To open these folders, select the path /Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/ or ~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/ and copy it into the Finder menu's "Go > Go to folder" field.
In the Finder window, that will open, look into the "Edit" and "Export" folders, if they are there and remove the the plug-in.

How to uninstall a Yahoo-affiliated "Search Here" functionality from Firefox

I picked up a Yahoo Search functionality inside Firefox but there was no Yahoo toolbar. I ran Revo Uninstaller and there was no listing for Yahoo. I ran Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel but there was no listing for Yahoo. However, in my Programs File under My Computer there is a folder titled Yahoo.
Whenever I opened Firefox I would get a Yahoo Search page instead of Google. I did a bunch of searches for solutions and found that I needed to delete all of the search listings in the drop down list from clicking the gray arrow in the search box.
They were all in there – Google, Yahoo, Bing, Twitter, and an odd entry called “Search Here” I deleted everything except Google. Then I went to about:config and reset the Keyword URL to the Google entry it was supposed to be.
I thought everything was fine but all of this left me with some strange Search Here window next to the Firefox Tabs and the same Search Here entry in the drop down list previously changed.
If I perform a search from the search window next to the open tabs I get a Yahoo Search result:
If I perform a search from Google I get a Google result as I should.
Interestingly, the Search Here listing appears again automatically in the listing of search engines.

The add-on is called default tab in Add-ons manager. Remove that and it's gone. Finally. It's a clever and innocuous title. I went over it several times before I could figure it out.

Officially, downgrading your system to any previous version isn't supported by Apple.
There are other third party sites that offer suggestions to downgrade, which some for example are:

But I found the patche isn't my requirement, the patch must be uninstalled from our system. I don't know how to uninstall it.

You do NOT need to apply patch 4561451 (Oracle XML Publisher Release 5.6), instead you need to apply the following patches:
1) Patch 4905678 (Oracle XML Publisher Release 5.6.1)

Since you have already applied patch 5097966, then you just need to apply patch 4905678. Please follow the instructions in the note: 357308.1 carefully. Once you are done, you will be running the latest version of Oracle XML Publisher which is 5.6.2

doing an upgrade is a one way. About "revert back few components"
In theory you would start with SP13 and only install the SP22 version of what you want to upgrade, but: That's not a good idea. Depending on what you want to keep at SP13, SP22 won't work.

Best Practice: SAPGUI Version and Patch Upgrades

Does anyone have some thoughts/information on best practices relating to SAPGUI version and patch upgrades.
Obviously, sometimes upgrades are forced upon us (e.g. 7.10 for Vista) and in other cases it may just be considered "nice to have".
Either way - it always signifies regression test and deployment effort. How do we balance the benefit and cost?

you're right for the first part, yes, we (usually) patch twice a year.
Now for the rest
An uninstall will only happen on release changes (6.20->6.40->7.10), i. e. about every 4-5 years as SAP releases them.
Patches are applied to the installation server and the setup on the client will only update changed program parts. For example, upgrading 6.40->7.10 took about 10 minutes (incl. uninstall), applying patch 1 less than 5 minutes.
I recommend, you read the "SAP Frontend Installation Guide - 7.10" which you find at SMP alias sapgui. Navigate to Media Library - Literature. It explains setup of the installation server (sounds like a big thing, but ain't much more than creating a share), creating packages, applying updates etc.
