How to uninstall the miniserver s/w and use it as a plain mac mini.

I have a mac mini server, I was never ever able to master the server or to make use of the server so I would like to uninstall the server software, upgrade to Lion use the mini as a regular macmini. How do I do that without losing the data I have on it?

if i understand your question
you have a prompt for year.. and it's assigned with presentation variable, say: var_year
And you are just entering value for only one year, say 2000.
Then, the request (which is using that prompt value as filter) should display year values 2000, 2000-1 (i.e. 1999), 2000-2 (i.e. 1998).
Is this your requirement?
If then,
Hope you are using edit box as control for year prompt and assign a presentation variable for that prompt.
Now, in report go to filter of year prompt, click on advance > Convert this filter to SQL.
write here... *Times.Year between @{var_year} and @{var_year}-2*
And make sure that your var_year is integer, if not cast it to integer

I installed the command line tools in Xcode 4.5 from the preferences : downloads : command line tools.
If i want to uninstall this component, what should I do？

In general Adobe needs to offer Ubuntu (Linux) support. I don't use Windows anymore and will go with whatever company provides me the Plug In's I need to function. They didn't offer any help with Ubuntu 10.045 (Linux). Please offer the instructions and automatic (non-terminal) uninstaller. Also, I want an automatic installer for Ubuntu 10 (Linux) & Firefox 3.6 that is easy like like you have for Windows and like Sun's Java has for Linux.

You should go to this site to see what versions of Flash Player and Shockwave Player you have installed.

The versions you are listing (10.0 r12, 10.0 r2) appear to be Shockwave Plauer versions, not Flash Player.
If you want to uninstall Flash Player, there should be an uninstaller in the install directory. I do not know where that is on Linux.

How to uninstall the "default" Firefox plugins?

I installed firefox from the extra repo. Sadly, it came with a bunch of plugins preinstalled (e.g., a Windows and Quicktime plugin). Primary reason I moved to Arch was to be able to install only what I want. This is not conducive to that.
Anybody know how to uninstall the plugins?
I read pacman manual and played around with pacman -Ql and -Qi etc. I also tried looking for some package that contained all the plugins. But I wasn't successful.

How to uninstall The Unarchiver?

Hi,
How to uninstall The Unarchiver? I don't know how to uninstall The Unarchiver because it still works even if I move it out of the Application directory. But I found cx.c3.theunarchiver.plist in Users>user>Library>Preferences.

it's not enough to remove it from the Applications folder. you have to trash it and empty trash. that will be enough. in general, that's how you uninstall applications like unarchiver that were installed by drag and drop into the Applications folder. Applications that are installed using installers should be uninstalled using uninstallers.

Stop all active OCS (infra and store) services.
You should use ORACLE universall installer and uninstall all three tiers in order : midtier,store,infra.In registry you should delete all keys and values associated with OCS (home). Then in program files you should delete OCS install inventories.
Also in registry delete all keys associated with OCS in Local_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\services\oracle

After I installed the latest Adobe Flash update, I am getting nasty messages when running flash embedded applications from Ms Office:
"this document contains embedded content that may be harmful to your computer"
I tried to enable All Active-X and all Macros without notification in the Office Trust settings, but it dod.t help.
How can i uninstall the latest Flash update and revert to the previous version?

I've fixed the issue applying the following steps:
1. Uninstalled Flash player with the Adobe uninstall utility.
2. Downloaded and installed the version 11.4 from the Flash archive here.
It seems that the 11.5 works fine as well. Actually, Adobe should fix the issue asap, because it will effectively ruin hundreds of office applications using flash.
Here is the thing. I should launch a standalone application from MS Excel. That application incorporates 30+ flash charts. To pass the Adobe warning message I need to click "Accept" 30 times which is insane. I don't see any other ways of disabling it, because even allowing all macros and active-x in the Excel trust center doesn't help.
Anyway, this Adobe "innovation" doesn't look right at all. I do hope someone from Adobe development team will see this and address the issue. Otherwise people will have stick to old versions and never update Flash.

This is one OS X's few weak spots. For most software, it is sufficient to drag the application out of the Applications folder and into the trash. Of course, this does not delete its preference files, etc, but these are usually pretty small, and can either be left in place or deleted separately.
Some software might ship with a separate uninstaller utility that you can run. Sometimes, the package installer can also perform uninstalling, too.
You can buy general purpose uninstaller utilities, but as far as I know they won't work for software already installed; only for software installed once the uninstaller is in place.
Perhaps the safest option is to contact the company that made the game and ask them how it should be uninstalled.

Roxio Media manager keeps on installing itself. I read on this forum that I have uninstall the BB desktop manager, and install it again to solve the issues. WINDOWS CAN NOT DELETE IT. When I delete the BlackBerry desktop manager, it just tries to install itself again. In the mean time Roxio Media manager keeps on trying to install itself. Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

Deploying Windows 7 via Offline Media (ISO) to MS Virtual PC's
I am looking on how to Hide the User Name, Password, and Domain fields which are prepopulated in the MDT wizard via the CS.ini (Not so concerned about the Domain field as I am User Name and Password)
We do need the Computer Name and OU fields to be seen, so skipping the wizard is not a option
The client just does not want these fields to be seen by the end users, they dont want them to even know the account name used for adding the machine to the domain, of course the password is not displayed but it must not be displayed either.
But since we use the fields they must still be fuctional just not seen.

You shouldn't have to edit DeployWiz_Definition_ENU.xml. You should only need to add "SkipAdminPassword=YES" to the CS.ini file and your authentication information.
Example:
