How to uninstall the OCS

how to uninstall the OCS and it's componet.
thanks

For windows platform.
Stop all active OCS (infra and store) services.
You should use ORACLE universall installer and uninstall all three tiers in order : midtier, store, infra. In registry you should delete all keys and values associated with OCS (home). Then in program files you should delete OCS install inventories.
Also in registry delete all keys associated with OCS in Local_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\services\oracle

  • Ubuntu 10 (Linux) & Firefox 3.6 ~ How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in & ActiveX control

Ubuntu 10.045 (Linux) and Firefox 3.6.3  ~  How to uninstall the Adobe  Flash Player plug-in & ActiveX control
In general Adobe needs to offer Ubuntu (Linux) support.  I don't use Windows anymore and will go with whatever company provides me the Plug In's I need to function.  In this case at the current time, I can't use Adobe flash Player to view You Tube video's.  I followed the link that helps a user fix the problem:
Solve a Problem: The video won't play:
    http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?answer=56115
I then saw that you suggested that I first needed to uninstall any older versions of the Flash Player and then install the latest version of the Flash player.  I clicked on the link find out how to uninstall it here:
How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
They didn't offer any help with Ubuntu 10.045 (Linux).  Please offer the instructions and automatic (non-terminal) uninstaller.  Also, I want an automatic installer for Ubuntu 10 (Linux) & Firefox 3.6 that is easy like like you have for Windows and like Sun's Java has for Linux.

You should go to this site to see what versions of Flash Player and Shockwave Player you have installed.
    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/
The versions you are listing (10.0 r12, 10.0 r2) appear to be Shockwave Plauer versions, not Flash Player.
If you want to uninstall Flash Player, there should be an uninstaller in the install directory.  I do not know where that is on Linux.

  • How to uninstall the command line tools?

I installed the command line tools in Xcode 4.5 from the preferences : downloads : command line tools.
If i want to uninstall this component, what should I do?
    PS:
I saw an answer in the Apple Support Communities about how to uninstall the Xcode 4.3 and later versions.
This is the original: " If You want to uninstall completely XCode go to launchpad and push Xcode icon for two
seconds, so click on the upper left checkbox.".
I don't know what means "push Xcode icon for two seconds, so click on the upper left checkbox".

There is no easy way to uninstall the command line tools. The following article has a script to uninstall them:
You Don’t Need The Xcode “Command Line Tools”
Read the comments in the article. I have not tested the script, but this is the first result when searching Google for "xcode 4.5 uninstall command line tools".

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums.

  • How to uninstall the "default" Firefox plugins?

I installed firefox from the extra repo. Sadly, it came with a bunch of plugins preinstalled (e.g., a Windows and Quicktime plugin). Primary reason I moved to Arch was to be able to install only what I want. This is not conducive to that.
Anybody know how to uninstall the plugins?
I read pacman manual and played around with pacman -Ql and -Qi etc. I also tried looking for some package that contained all the plugins. But I wasn't successful.

  • How to uninstall The Unarchiver?

    Hi,
How to uninstall The Unarchiver? I don't know how to uninstall The Unarchiver because it still works even if I move it out of the Application directory. But I found cx.c3.theunarchiver.plist in Users>user>Library>Preferences.
    Regards,
    Terence

it's not enough to remove it from the Applications folder. you have to trash it and empty trash. that will be enough. in general, that's how you uninstall applications like unarchiver that were installed by drag and drop into the Applications folder. Applications that are installed using installers should be uninstalled using uninstallers.

Can't really help you - what did you install in the first place?
Also, there is not really a lot anyone can do to help you if it was unauthorised in the first place.

  • Macbook:  How do I uninstall a game on the macbook?  I need to reinstall the game for it to work, but I can't figure out how to uninstall the game to begin with.

I need to reinstall the game for it to work, but I can't figure out how to uninstall the game to begin with.  I know that in Windows, there is an "Uninstall" option, but I have found no such option on the Macbook.

This is one OS X's few weak spots. For most software, it is sufficient to drag the application out of the Applications folder and into the trash.  Of course, this does not delete its preference files, etc, but these are usually pretty small, and can either be left in place or deleted separately.
Some software might ship with a separate uninstaller utility that you can run.  Sometimes, the package installer can also perform uninstalling, too.
You can buy general purpose uninstaller utilities, but as far as I know they won't work for software already installed; only for software installed once the uninstaller is in place.
Perhaps the safest option is to contact the company that made the game and ask them how it should be uninstalled.

  • How to uninstall the program "Utilities" from the Satellite A210

How can I unistall the program "Utilities" from the Satellite A210. In the control panel I can uninstall the program "Value Added Package" but not "Utilities".
With the A210 I can't work with the FN keys and on a German Toshiba help website I have found this information:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB0402UR0000R01DE.htm
So I will try this sequence of installation:
    - Chipset Utility
    - Display Driver
    - Toshiba Value Added Package V1.2.40
    - Flash Cards Support Utility for Satellite L500 (see this thread why I want it to do):
    http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=46135&tstart=7
    - Toshiba-Utilities V1.0.25.5C
    and probably
    - Hardware Setup V2.00.09
I hope the FN keys will work after this sequence of installation.
    John

    Hi again John
So here a little bit theory:
After clean OS you must install all necessary drivers and Toshiba tools and utilities. Just when everything is installed properly you will have well working operating system. Problem is that you cannot install all this in some alphabetical sequence but following right installation order.
I don't have Satellite A210 and cannot offer you exact installation order but it must be something like this one:
    -Win7
    -chipset driver
    -storage manager
    -display driver
    -sound driver
    -modem driver
    -LAN/WLAN driver
    -supervisor utility
    -Synaptics touchpad driver
    -Card reader
    -Webcam driver
    -patches
    -configfree
    -VAP
    -Toshiba hardware setup
    -HDMI control
    -WLAN driver
    -Toshiba assist
    Please note
VAP is package with follow applications:
    - Toshiba Components Common Driver
    - Toshiba Utilities
    - Toshiba PC Diagnostic Tool
    - Toshiba Power Saver
    - Toshiba Button Support
    - Toshiba Zooming Utility
    - Toshiba Flash cards
As far as I know you cannot remove one single application. What I always do is to remove whole VAP and after notebook restart I start VAP installation again but not as standard installation. I use custom installation. There you can choose which application should be installed and which not.
To be honest I have very good experience with Win7 installation and if everything is installed properly you should be able to use flash cards with FN button.

  • How to uninstall the Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0?

I can't uninstall the Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 from my computer. It shows saying "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\7.0  Get last Error:5." It also can't be re-installed. How to do it?

If you still want AA7 running, then open Acrobat and use Help>Repair. If you cannot open Acrobat, then in Windows go to Control Panel>Programs & Features, select AA7 and repair. If you do uninstall AA7, it is likely you will not be able to successfully reinstall it without a new download. Check https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.ht ml. If you are to the point you have no choice but to complete the uninstall, then use http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html.

  • Satellite A305-S6825: How to uninstall the Norton 360

Just purchased the A305-S6825 and wonder how I might be able to uninstall the Norton 360 (in it's entirety) that was installed when I purchased the unit.
    Can anyone help?

    Hi
You can uninstall the installed applications in control panel.
Open Programs and Features clicking on the Start button.
Then click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Programs and Features.
Then select a program, and then click uninstall.
Furthermore you could use a free application called CCLeaner to clean the registry and Norton tracks.
    Cheers

Have to agree with you Paul. And even though Syncopator says it is easy to remove, I do notice he had to cover himself with a disclaimer at the end.
That said, to anyone who choosed to so it, be sure to read the instructions and follow them PRECISELY. Your actions are your own.  :-)
    Cheers
    Pete
    petermac87,
If it so happens that you have a reading-comprehension problem, please forgive me, as it is not my intent to be the slightest bit insensitive. However I cannot -- and will not -- allow you to put words in my mouth.
Nowhere in my post did I say iBooks is "easy" to remove. NOWHERE.
(As such, I enthusiastically invite you to read my post again.) It seems you and Paul_31 both have difficulty either choosing, or interpreting, precise language. I, on the other hand, choose mine quite carefully and deliberately.
What I said, sir, is that iBooks is perfectly SAFE to remove. Not EASY. And as I had to point out in my previous reply (albeit on a different topic), there's a huge difference.
Now, had I in fact said iBooks was easy to remove, your attempt to discredit me by pointing out my so-called "disclaimer" would have made perfect sense -- because under those circumstances, clearly I would have contradicted myself.
But in reality quite the opposite is true:
It is precisely because I used the word "safe" (and not the word "easy") that I wanted to emphasize the anyone who chooses to remove iBooks must take care to follow the instructions carefully. I stated that precisely because it's NOT easy! In fact, I took special care NOT to imply that it's easy, because, for the average user, it's not.
But "ease" wasn't the point. The point was feasibility. And I stated -- and I maintiain without apology -- that it is, in fact, safe to remove iBooks.
    Is it safe? Yes.
Is it easy? Not to the average user. (And I never said it was.)
So, to anyone who wishes to remove it (as many of us have, without incident), I was stressing the importance of following the instructions precisely.
That wasn't a "disclaimer." It was advice.  :-)
    Finally, there's Paul_31's suggestion:
I'd still choose to leave it installed and just ignore it if I didn't want to use it...
I see. But did you think that advice through?  :-)  It seems you didn't, because "ignoring it" is logical if -- and only if -- the user has never once launched iBooks. The problem, as we all know, is that iBooks is sorely lacking in functionality. But one does not discover that until one actually launches the app and discovers that fact! But once it's been launched -- and the user's books have been transerred to iBooks -- one cannot simply "just ignore iBooks" because one's library has been transferred out of iTunes!
I highly doubt that users who install Mavericks will take a look at the iBooks icon and think, "Hmm... Before I even launch this app, I'd better check the Apple discussions to see if there are any problems with it." Most users who come to this (or any similar) thread will have already launched iBooks, found it problematic, and are now seeking a solution.
As such, telling them to "just ignore" iBooks isn't a solution -- that is, unless they're willing to forego access to any of their books, because their books now can only be accessed from iBooks -- which of course you're recommending that they simply ignore.
    Wow, dude.
I'll agree with you in spirit:
To any user who has NOT yet launched iBooks, DON'T! Just ignore it until Apple has improved it. But since the vast majority of users reading this thread will have already launched iBooks, advising them to "just ignore it" isn't quite a solution to their problem.  :-)
    Warm regards.
