How to unlock a disabled ipod
my son forgot his pass work for his ipod, not it is disabled and we cant get it going. how can i do it
You need to connect to the computer used to set it up, in recovery mode by starting iTunes, connect the USB end of hte cable, then while holding the home button on the iPod connect the dock connector end. Then iTunes should see the iPod and you can go into restore mode to clear the password.

How to unlock my disabled ipod touch
Does anyone know how I can unlock my sons disabled ipod touck
Connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcode, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovery mode:

How to unlock my disabled ipod
I havn't used my ipod in a long time so when i went to go use it I wasnt able to open it so it locked me out of my ipod. i have important pictures on my ipodd and dont want to delete them so if anyone can come up with a solution i would be very thankful for your help.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad/iPod into Recovery Mode

For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
