How to "unregister" my WiFi AP?

Apple considers my WiFi access point as "registered" -- and it somehow correlates my WiFi AP to my actual street address.
1) How does Apple know my WiFi SSID and/or MAC address?
2) How does Apple correlate that to my street address?
Consider:
I do not broadcast my SSID.
I do not have any credit card that uses the same address as my WiFi access point.
I have never had any Apple or related deliveries to the address of my WiFi access point.
None of my Apple devices are cellular enabled and none of my cell phones are billed to this address.
So...
How does Apple know my WiFi AP's street address?
If I change my SSID, how long before Apple would have the new SSID in its database?
How can I "unregister" my Wi-Fi network from Apple?
This is just too creapy privacy invasion for me!!

You consent to collection of this location information through System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Location Services. Turn it off, but if it was ever "on" at one point the damage is done.
Google has been collecting data on wireless access points for years. At one time Apple also correlated data collected by a company known as Skyhook Wireless to create a database of locations for Wi-Fi access points and iOS devices. Changing or hiding your AirPort's BSSID will accomplish exactly nothing, since the SSID is not required to correlate an access point's hardware identifier to a location that may no longer be its actual location, or perhaps never was. Cell phones are unrelated to this (except when they connect to an AirPort using Wi-Fi). Wireless encryption (WPA password) does not matter either.

As far as anyone here has been able to determine, this is not possible. As long as Google drives around in their little GPS-equipped cars with cameras on them such Wi-Fi snooping not going to stop. Can such data be used for malicious purposes? You decide.
I recommend leaving Location Services "off" for devices unless you understand and accept its implications. I also recommend keeping your AirPort's transmitter power at the minimum necessary for your needs. Endeavour to keep your Wi-Fi signal within your walls, and it will be useful to the only person that matters: you.

You provided no information about your computer, your operating system, network, errors, or Windows version. But I'll take some guesses.
What did you try? What happens when you try? Any error messages? Did you download and install the Windows Support Software, or install it from your Snow Leopard Install Disk if you are using Snow Leopard? Did you look in the Windows Help menu to see how to set up wifi in Windows?

I have an old laptop that was upgraded from XP to Vista Business. It runs OK but is very slow. I have Fios wireless at home and it connects fine, but the In-house Agent won't run properly (blank pages for the Internet & Phone sections...Chat tech was unhelpful). Droid has it's own app, and boingo is what Verizon uses - so you can safely download boingo and then when it asks for your login, you put your VZ log in info.
you DO have to create a seperate WIFI log in though, So you should go to www.verizon.net/
Hover over my verizon and then select VIEW all from the my services menu > then select internet on the left hand side menu > then select manage under the verizon wifi section.
Manage gives you two options
Find Wifi Hotspots
WiFI how to demos
Select Wifi how to demos and then click and follow the registration link
when you get there, it wants you to sign in, you sign in with your main account, and then you go through the Wi-fi registration steps to make a Verizon WIFI username
these are going to be seperate usernames, one used for your account and online access, you already have this one
and the next is one specifically for wifi hotspot access, you are creating this one (if you haven't already done so)

Yes. You can directly connect an 802.11n AirPort Express Base Station (AXn) using an Ethernet cable. The AXn would then just need to be configured as a bridge to allow the D-Link to continue to provide both NAT & DHCP services for all network clients connected to either router.
In this configuration, the AXn would broadcast a wireless network for your wireless network clients to connect to.

Ok, to clarify:
1. You had the iPad2, iTouch, and iMac account sync'ing on 10.7 Lion under your account?
2. Now you want change those devices to your wife's Apple ID and maybe a new login account for the wife?
(Did you upgrade from Lion to Mountain Lion on a single iMac that you share?)
If that's what you meant:
1. If the devices were activated and sync'd under your Apple ID on your computer then going to a second computer you will receive an error in iTunes about the device being sync'd to a different computer. You will have to wipe the devices and start over to change that... You could also end up having Apps installed on the iOS devices some under your AppleID and some under your wife's AppleID. That can be painful as you need to logout of the App/iTunes stores and switch accounts then update. You'll see updates available but not be able to update all of them because half are under a different AppleID.
However, it is possible to share an Apple ID for purchases between devices. I use my AppleID between my work iPad3, iPhone4S, the wife's iPad2 and iPhone4 as well as my Mac's and the wife's iMac. This way all purchases are made under one account. I then setup the wife with her own iCloud account while still using my AppleID for the App/iTunes stores. All she has to know is the password to my account and I think I can trust the wife with that.
Going to need very specific information to provide you the proper course of action to save you time and effort.

4G wireless cell signals are done through Verizon. WiFi comes from places such as your home wireless network, or WiFi hotspots at places like Starbucks, restaurants, pubs, etc.
If you are asking about Verizon's wireless cell service, it's $20 a month for 1 gig of data, $30 a month for 2 gigs of data, or $50 a month for 5 gigs of data.

Wi-Fi access can be limited using the Timed Access feature of the AirPort routers. You would do so using the AirPort Utility.

You cannot replace just the chip. If all of the various solutions suggested in Apple's support documents and here in these forums do not help, you will need to 1) take or send your iPhone to Apple for replacement, 2) pay to have an unauthorized third-party shop attempt repairs, or 3) attempt repairs yourself. The latter two options will void any further support from Apple.
