How to unzip the 5 discs

Hi all,
I am student, so I'am a biggner. I am fun of linux and this period I have many things to learn about oracle db. When i have listened about OEL 3 day ago, I downloaded the 5 discs.
But when i try to unzip them , some problems occur with some file. For exemple with the first file:
[root@localhost oracle]# unzip -t o1.zip
Archive: o1.zip
testing: Enterprise-R5-U4-Server-i386-disc1.iso bad CRC 2939ef2d (should be e0bed04e)
At least one error was detected in o1.zip.
Plz help me :'( and sorry for my bad english

3 HDDs and Adobe Premiere - How to allocate the disc space?

Dear Members of the Forum,
First, I want to thank you for the valuable information you share with people like me. Your advice helped me build my first computer (few days ago) and got me interested reading about computers in general. I'm a hobbyist photographer and videographer and I build my machine to suit my purposes for editing HD video content stored in AVCHD format.
I have few important questions regarding the allocation of disc space for editing AVCHD files in Adobe Premiere. Presently I work with CS3 but will migrate to CS5 in the future. My configuration is: i7-930, ASUS P6T mobo, 6GB RAM (planning to expand to 12gigs), GPU is nVidia 250GTS with 1GB-RAM, Corsair 750W ATX, Windows 7/64bit. I also have a 3 hard drive discs set-up:
C: WD Black Caviar 500GB for OS/programs
D: Seagate 500GB 7200.12 - waits to be allocated functions after reading your advice
E: WD Black Caviar 1TB for storage
After reading Harm Millaard's valuable tutorials I'm still not quite clear about how to allocate the space on my 3 hdd set-up. Harm recommends to 'Use at least 3 different physical disks on an editing machine, one for OS/programs, one for media and one for pagefile/scratch/renders'. Having 3HDDs this translates into:
1. OS/programs go to my C: WD Black Caviar 500GB (32MB cache)
2. Pagefile/scratch/renders:
                a) SCRATCH discs consist of: Captured Video/Captured Audio/Video+Audio Previews/ Media Cache/ DVD Encoding. With a 3 hdd setup where each of these should go? My understanding is that the Disc Cache should be on a different physical disc than the source footage.
               b) Where exactly to put the PAGEFILE? And should one change it size if one has 6GB+ of RAM? Does Adobe Premiere has its own 'pagefile' or this is the Windows pagefile you are talking about? I could not find where Adobe's pagefile settings are located on the Adobe Premiere CS3 menus;
                c) which disc to use for RENDERS on my 3 hdd system?
I can add a fourth HDD (Seagate 500GB 7200.12) to the above configuration if this would be a smart thing to do to achieve better results.

1. For a 3 hard disc drive video-editing rig the recommended disc allocation is as follows:
C: OS & programs
D: page file, media cache and renders/previews plus miscellaneous
E: media and exports
2. For a 4 hdd video-editing rig:
C: OS & programs
D: Windows page file and renders/previews plus miscellaneous
E: original source media
D: media cache and exports

How to unzip the xlWebApp.war

Experts,
I need to do some customization(like message on home message and some error messages) in OIM.
For the xlWebApp.war needs to be unzipped.
How to do this?
I am doing this with flowing option
1. Make the extension as .zip and then extracting.
2. Running the command jar –xvf
However I guess the extracted files are not getting extracting because when I zip again and unzip again nothing shows up other than an MANIFEST.MF.
If anyone has done customization in this way, please suggest.

It was really useful.
However one observation. When I unzipped first time it unzipped correctly but after that when I zip now one extra folder/drivepath is coming.
Like E…/xlwebapp/….
I think before I zip it again this extra drive should not come.

I am working on a Mac book Pro and I have been getting a message that my disc drive is full. How do I clear some space? I'm running OS X v 10.9.5

Drag items such as the iTunes and iPhoto libraries to an external drive and then delete them from the internal one; the iPhoto library needs to be stored on a volume formatted as Mac OS Extended. If desired, use a tool such as GrandPerspective to determine what's taking up the space.

I encounter a great difficult problem in uncompressing a zip file which has the BIG entries excess 4GB. Is there any size limitation in doing uncompress files in Java? Or there is any resolutions?

1) If you dont want to cancel material document : In this case go to T. Code J1IS and select the option "delete" (a bin symbole made on menu bar). Then enter Internal No and year , then save it. But here you are saying while taking goods receipt Internal no is Not generated so i think this solution will not work for you.
Through J1IS t.code cancellation was not possible, Bcz in this case we have no internal number
2) Now you have to Cancel the material Document : Go to MIGo T. Code. and select " Return Delivey" Instead of Cancellation and with reference to Material document save the document. In this way material document will be cancelled and part One entry will be reversed. But make sure that in Configuration of Movement type of CIN is having 122 Mvt type
We have checked in configuration there 122 mov type was available, if suppose we choose the rerurn delivery then system will reverse the goods(The perticular material doesnot have stock, stock is Zero). Is it reverse Part1 entry. then shall i go for One more time GR? how to do it?

How to copy the disc for offsite backup?

I would like to copy my new 10.4 system disc to keep as an offsite backup, as you are legally allowed to do, but can't, as it's copy protected. Will Apple FedEx me a new one if my original gets scratched, free of charge?

I can't speak for Apple, but I don't think there's any copy protection on the disk at all.
My iMac can't read the Apple install disks (no visible scratch, but there's just a few CDs and DVDs the drive can't seem to read -- yeah, I know I should get the drive replaced). So, I have a home-brew Linux box that I used to burn a copy of the disks (I can read the copies on my iMac just fine). Assuming you can read the disk, you ought to be able to create and image of it and burn that to a CD or DVD without a problem as a back-up.

By using OID how to unzip the folder and load bunch of .csv files

in my scenarion we have created FTP folder that will load the .zip files(Every Day).
.zip files that will contain bunch of .csv file (flat files) and by using OID need to extract the .zip file and load the all .csv files into target database. source data is .csv files and target data is oracle10g. Dose it will possible by using ODI?? please suggest me...

How do I open the disc tray if it goes straight to console?

I am having an issue where my G5 boots straight to the console. I have been told to re-install the os, but nobody has been able to tell me how to open the disc tray to put the install disc in.

Press the mouse button or the eject key or F12 at startup. You can also press the Option, Command, O, and F keys, and enter 'eject cd' followed by 'mac-boot' without the quote marks.

SORRY TO SEEM SO STUPID BUT CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO ACTUALLY OPEN THE DISC PLAYER?

This is my first Mac.......please, how hard can it be to find out how to open the disc drive? I found out how to put it in...duh....but not how to actually open it. Help please......not very computer literate, sorry, but I'm trying.

Click on the button with the same symbol as the Eject key at the right edge of the menu bar. If you don't see one, choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, provide /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/ as the path, and double-click the Eject.menu item. If this doesn't produce an usable option to eject the drive, you have a slot-loading drive with nothing inside and can just insert a CD or DVD into it.

Shut the system down, then start it up while holding down the mouse or the trackpad. This should force the dvd to eject.

Unzip the file archived by the File adapter

Hi Experts,
we have a scenario where we are archiving a xml file using the File adapter and also it is being zipped by the OS command.
the script not only zips the file, it also rename the file from *.zip to *.xml.
Hence after archiving when I am trying to open it, the content appears to be junk.
Please suggest how to unzip the file as it got a extension *.xml.
And I also tried renaming the file to *.zip and then to uncompress, but it shows below error
Cannot open : it does not appear to be a valid archive

instead of using OS command try using the exesting module provided by the SAP, so your job will be easy.
follow this steps in the module processing for UN ZIP
Processing sequence:
Module name: AF_Modules/PayloadZipBean
Type: Local Enterprise Bean
Module key: 3
u2022 Module configuration:
Module key: 3
Parameter name: zip.mode
Parameter value: unzip.
in the commincation channel specify filename.xml
so you can open the file in XML format

Cannot get disc out of disc drive - Mac Book Pro - not showing the disc on finder and eject button is not working

I inserted a disc into the disc drive but it did not start up. It is not showing in Finder. When I press the eject key nothing happens. Can someone tell me how to get the disc out of the disc drive?

deactivate (help>deactivate) on your old hd.
then install using the installation file(s) and your serial number.

How to sync the album and track info that I entered into a CD using iTunes with the actual disc?

I recently recorded some cover songs, and I imported them into iTunes. So, after entering the track info (track names and album art) into each track using "Get Info", I burned them to a CD. I was completely shocked that the track info and album artwork did not get inputted onto the CD. So, I entered the track info, but could not add the album artwork.
How to add the album artwork is not as important a question. But it's one of my 2.75 questions.
My other issue is that the info that I put on the CD using iTunes is only visible within iTunes. Therefore, I cannot get the track names elsewhere.
My 2.5 questions are:
1) How do I get the track and album info to display in Windows Explorer and Windows Media Player (and the touchscreen CD Player in the car)?
2) How do I add digital album artwork to the CD (so that it shows on the touchscreen CD Player in the car - if iPods have the artwork and it shows on the car's screen, a CD should be able to show the artwork on the car's screen, when talking about limitations of the car)
2.5) How do I make that artwork display across everywhere I plug that disc into?
2.75) How do I ensure that when others import my CD, my artwork, track names, and album name also import from the CD?
I have already burnt the CD, so I would prefer a way to tweak the properties of the already burnt CD rather than burning a whole new disc.

1) Metadata visibility in Windows Explorer and/or Windows Media Player depends on OS version and file type. The mp3 format has the widest support. As for the touchscreen CD Player in your car who can say? If it can play data discs the results will be better than with audio CD. If it can display CD text then this option should be selected when creating an audio CD.
2) Artwork cannot be attached to the tracks on an audio CD. If your car system supports it all then it will be with data discs. Check the specifications of the system for the media types it can support on a data disc.
2.5) Simply ensure the artwork is embedded in the tag.
I have two scripts that can help with this, CreateFolderArt and EmbedFolderArt.
The scripts have a slightly different purpose.
CreateFolderArt ensures that every album folder ends up with a Folder.jpg image which is the art that iTunes already knows about. Side effects are that if artwork has been updated in iTunes the folder art should be updated also, and if any track from the album doesn't have embedded artwork it gets embedded.
EmbedFolderArt was actually written for someone who already had various artwork images stored in the folders and wanted them added to their tracks, but not if iTunes had already downloaded a better quality image.
2.75) Again, use a data disc format. Note that you should not be giving away copies of copyrighted material.
Audio CDs are finalized, you cannot change any properties of them unless they are on rewritable media in which case you can erase the whole disc and start over.
