How in the world do I know my phone is smart and yet it is acting incapable of the most basic smartphone function? Glitch of the day right? This has been unsupported for a couple months. I'm not going to the computer to connect with. This, perhaps, will be my last resort.

How to enable cookies to watch video clips??

I was sent a link to a website to watch video clips (educational training).
On the registration page it tells me I will need to "enable cookies" in order
to watch the video clips-please adjust your browser settings. It tells me what I have to do but not how.
I've gone to quicktime preferences and everything seems like it's on the correct settings.

There is some confusion here.
Firstly you cannot run Safari 4.0.4 with the operating system you show, 10.4.10, you need to update to 10.4.11 AND install the latest Security updates.
Secondly, when you open Safari Preferences you get the following icons:
General, Appearance, Bookmarks, Tabs, RSS, Autofill, Security, Advanced.
In the small Preferences window, top right-hand corner, do you see a small oval 'button'?
Try clicking on that.

I'm trying to update Adobe Acrobat 9.0 to the latest revision Adobe Acrobat 9.5.5. I downloaded each of the updates, but I keep getting a reminder that normal windows update does not apply. I downloaded the files and normally would then click on each update to update the preceding revision in order. However, it appears this is not the way for these revisions. How do I update the Adobe Acrobat 9.0?

Normally you would either use Help>Updates in Acrobat, though a lot of us do use the manual updates, particularly if the Help route fails. Since you have 9.0, you have about 13 updates to do as I recall. I would download them from the top down as each download indicates the previous version that is needed for applying the update. There are actually AA9 updates, but several can be skipped. Also, you generally do not have to reboot until you finish with the last update. You might want to start with the 9.0 update that I think just adds some options. Then from the updates page you would install 9.1, 9.1.1, 9.1.2, 9.1.3, 9.2, etc. If you have downloaded from the top down, you will know which ones you can skip. Is that what you were asking about?

Using HP ENVY x360 u010dx notebook/tablet i can not update to latest intell video driver. I;m getting message that my drier is custom, so i'm redirect to hp site where i can only download older version of driver.

I believe you are using chrome browser this time, Chrome browser has inbuilt flash player and it update automatically, please test the same site in different browser like Internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
The turning circle indicates that movie is loading and it depends upon the internet speed, if you have slow connection it will take time to load the movie. Please try to open short length video may be 10-20 seconds movie.it will take less time to load.

I got my iPod video 1 week ago, everything went well. But the batt last only abt an hour or so when I watch video. If I did not finnish the movie and switch to listern to other song. I won't be able to get back the last play back video where I stop. To fastfoward is not an easy way and time consuming. Anyone know a better way. I covert the movie from my DVD.

How to update Adobe Presenter 8.01?

I am trying to do presentations with animated inking on a tablet and the quality is so poor (I have to use ppt instead of pptx in the native inking). I have to convert them to images. I'm hoping that they work in presenter 8.02, but I can't figure out how to get an update. I found a link here earlier this afternoon, but searching does not give me the same link. I also can't find the FAQ - it might be there, but I can't seem to find presenter FAQs.

I was running 8.0.1. The update within the presenter ribbon did not report 8.0.2. Also, the 'Adobe Application Manager' does not seem to know about Adobe Presenter, so it reports no update. But I was finally able to update to 8.0.2 from another link that I found in the forum. It did not fix my issue with inking. Also, I have some issues with animating equations. Note that the inking issues are shown in the bottom links here. Please let me know if the prpkg package is what you need. My workaround is to convert these objects to pictures, and then they can be animated. This makes an extra step for every animation, plus they lose the ability to be edited.

Some of the problems are due to incompatibility of the new MS equations with the .ppt format, I think, but there are other issues. You can hear in the audio a description of what I see during recording. The only way that works is to use MS 3.0 equations or MathType equations and paste images of the equations as shown in one of the slides at the end. It does not work to embed them.

How to update Adobe 9.1.0 to 10 on Window 7?

I have tried the "Help" and "Check for update". A message popped up "The update server is not responding, which means it might be offline at the moment, or the internet or firewall settings may be incorrect. Please try again later". I have also tried open the the "Preference" dialog box but could not find "update" under the "Categories" in the left pane. I would be grateful if anyone could help. During the search on the internet, I also found other PDF reader programme like Foxit which, according to comments, is lighter and thus the pc works faster. As I anticipate I will work on PDF files (preferrably with function of adding notes and comments) more often than before, I am thinking to try alternative reader. At the same time, I have read comments like "Foxit adds malicious search engines when installing it". So I am now doing a bit homework before making a decision.
