How to update menu using menumaker

I used menumaker to generate menu for pekwm
mmaker -vft aterm pekwm
v -- gives some info
f -- forces to write even if there is a "menu" file in ~/.pekwm folder.
t aterm -- specifies which terminal emulator to use.
The same applies to fluxbox, openbox, etc.

Now, if you have hand edited the menu and then want to run menumaker (after installing some other apps), then all the stuff that you edited will be lost. Is there a way to tell menumaker not to delete anything but just to add since many apps cannot be added by menumaker automatically, eg., an entry for wine application. In other words, how to update pekwm menu after installing applications but not to delete hand-edited stuff.

I assume dr is your data row which you got from a data table object. There seems problem while loading the data table itself, there is no data in dr["lookupcolumn", check below links

BDAqua saved me a lot of typing. It wasn't clear, though, if you just needed to vent or if you're wanting to address these issues (which will involve a lot of typing).
One of the main ones you need to do before you do any installing or installing of Flash Player is deal with the disk that won't verify. Basically you're working with a computer that doesn't know where all its files are. The computer uses a directory to keep tack of them and your directory needs repairing. If you don't repair it then you'll just end up losing files, and getting more problems with running the computer. It's a little bit like never changing the oil in the car, or dealing with an oil leak when it happens.
First, if at all possible make a backup of the drive in its present configuration. If something goes wrong during repair attempts and makes things worse you will have a backup. You will have to decide how to work this in the light of any present backups you may have, for example, a backup that may be a few days out of date. In that case you may want to keep that one and make a second backup of this as they are now, though I realize people often don't have a lot of empty drives sitting around.
Boot from the System Installer disc that came with your computer or is the one for the version you currently have on there, select language if applicable, choose utilities, run Disk Utility and verify (and repair if necessary) the drive. You can verify a drive from DU on your main drive while booted but I have found this can result in incorrect reporting of errors. To repair your drive you have to run it from a drive other than the boot drive anyway.
Next, boot from your drive in [Safe Mode|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107393] and repair permissions. You can repair permissions while booted from the installer disc but this uses the permissions configuration on the installer disc which may be out of date if you have run any updates on your computer. Booting your computer to Safe Mode restricts the number of things running on your computer while permissions are being run and does a bit of spring cleaning at the same time.

A.class has some procedures and String variables which can be updated and later can be used in JSP pages. The project starts with ARunner.jsp which uses the A.class and updates the values of string variables s0 and s1of A to hi and hello respectively.And then redirects the page to MainUser.jsp.
Now what I want is ,when I call those string variables(s0 & s1 of A.class) in any another jsp likeMainUser.jsp it should give me the value of hi and hello respectively not null as it is giving right now. Could you refine the coding for this one?

ESS Leave Custom fields, how to update them using BADIs

Hi There,
We are trying to use custom fields provided in ESS leave application, and we want to update them using BADI. As these information is not available on the screen while requesting leave request.
I did look at PT_ABS_REQ BADI and seems i can use Post_Vio_BLOP .. but its unable to update table PTREQ_ATTABSDATA .
Can you please suggest what can be best approach here.

Did you look at using the Implict Enhancement Options available at the beginning & end of the POST_VIA_BLOP Method? Or even better, enhance the Class CL_PT_ARQ_REQ_EXIT & replace the IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ~POST_VIA_BLOP Method with an Overwrite Exit?

Why use PL/SQL and why use cursors?
You are running a SELECT on the source table via the SQL engine and pulling that data from the db buffer cache into PL/SQL variables.
Then you take that very same data, and push that back to the SQL engine using an UPDATE.
So if you need to update 10KB worth of data, it means pulling 10KB from the SQL engine into the PL engine.. and then pushing 10KB of data from the PL engine back to the SQL engine.
Not only pushing and pulling - you need your code to switch continually between the PL and SQL engines to do this.
Now imagine doing it for 10MB of data.. or 1GB of data.. or more.
Does it sound like your approach is effective? Does it sounds like it will perform well? Does it sound like it will scale?
The basic rule for Oracle development is:
Maximize SQL. Minimize PL/SQL (or Java or C#, etc).

UDF update field using Query

Hi All,
I have a udf field in OITM which we use to flag whether an item is obsolete or not, so Y or N is populated in all item records.
I am trying to copy this field and its contents to be displayed in the Stock Data Tab (OITW) using a UDF but cannot get the query to work to automatically populate this new UDF?
Any advice on the structure of the query or if I should try anything else would greatly received.

as you saw in the names of parts contactor is the same in all the column. i want such a query that extract all the entries which contain contactor and make a new column or highlight them in the same column. my requirement is very similar to dos command when

This formula checks cell A1 and will flag TRUE if it matches the requirements of the specified text. Have wrapped a lower function around the cell to mitigate for different upper or lower case mismatches.
Alternativey you can use conditional formatting > "Use a formula to determine which cells to format" and use the following formula =FIND("contactor", LOWER(A1)) >0. Change the format to colour in the cell and copy the
format down to all corresponding cells. This will now highlight those that match the text value.
