How to update icloud outlook

I am attemting to set up iPhone5, ipad2, and a Lenovo laptop on icloud. I have downloaded icloud Outlook and separately setup each device. I am using a new icloud email address. Email syncs with all three devices. Calendar and contacts sync on the Apple devices but not on the PC. Suggestions please.

Hi,
I recently changed my Apple ID e-mail and now I cannot figure out how to update it on my Ipad Mini or Iphone 5c. When I go to setting and then to ICloud it still shows my old apple ID e-mail. I am not able to delete my account from either device because it's asking for my password but I changed my e-mail and password. Is their anyone who can help me so I don't have to go into an Apple Store?

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

How to update icloud preferences?

Everytime I use my laptop I have a message saying this mac can't connect to icloud because of a problem with XX (my current email address/user ID). Then I clcik update preferences and suddenly it wants me to enter a password for an old email address (user ID). I don't know how to tell icloud my new email address/user ID. There is another internet account (gmail) listed which is fine. I could delete the icloud account but scared that I'll d something stupid if i do that. Even though I have deleted the old apple ID account (in manage apple IDs) if i try to say forgotten password and manage IDs with old account it can't email me my password (even when i put my DOB in it thinks I've got it wrong).
Any tips?

When you run Software Updates from the Apple Menu, it looks for software to update for your current operating system. The first version of Mac OS X to have iCloud functionality built into the System Preferences was Mac OS X Lion 10.7. The current version of Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 is available in the Mac App Store that you can access from the Apple Menu and it is free. Please be sure to check the system requirements to make sure your computer can support the software before downloading and installing. TS3999 How to disable iCloud Outlook calendar sync without disabling contacts

I am synchronizing iCloud and Outllok Contacts, and do not wish to do the same with calendars (I sync via gMail. Easier and more transparent).
Issue: Since the latest iCloud Control Panel version, I do not seem to figure how to delete the iCloud calendar from my Outlook, unless I delete all of iCloud controls.
Anything I'm missing?

I just deleted the calendar in outlook. Didn't do anything in iCloud. But I am having other issues with the new iCloud control panel.

How do i get calendar invites to open and update icloud calendar instead of my local outlook account?

I recently started using iCloud for my calendar and have installed the MS Outlook iCloud plug in, but whenever I receive calendar invitations in any of the mail accounts I have configured in Outlook, only my local calendar on my computer is being updated. How do I set up Outlook to have incoming calendar invitations update my iCloud calendar? I even tried opening the iCloud website, but all calendar items there also show up as .ics files, which automatically open in MS Outlook on my computer and again update only my local calendar (personal folders). I also tried setting the default data file in MS Outlook to the iCloud data file, but when I did that, Outlook gives an error message advising against setting the iCloud calendar as the default. I'm at a total loss and would GREATLY appreciate any advice anyone might be able to provide. Thanks to all for your time!

In order to resolve this issue where you are unable to use iCloud calendars in Outlook, please follow the steps below, ensuring you follow them in order and testing after each step.
Troubleshooting on Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Outlook)
If you're having trouble with iCloud Calendar on a PC (with Outlook 2007 or later), try each of these steps, testing after each to see if the issue is resolved.
Note: iCloud Control Panel does not support Outlook 2010 Personal Edition. When using iCloud Control Panel 2.0 and later, iCloud Calendar event descriptions in Outlook 2010 do not support text formatting (bold, italics, or underline), HTML, images, or attachments. The contextual menu (right-click) has also been disabled.
Verify that you are using a Windows configuration supported by iCloud.
Make sure that your computer is online. Attempt to view www.apple.com. If you can't connect to the Internet, your iCloud calendars and events will not update in Outlook. Learn about troubleshooting your Internet connection.
Open a secure website to test if ports 80 and 443 are accessible. Outlook requires port 443 access to iCloud to push and fetch updates to and from the iCloud Calendar servers.
Verify that your iCloud member name is entered into the iCloud Control Panel window. Learn about setting up iCloud on Windows.
Close and reopen the iCloud Control Panel.
Make sure that iCloud is not your default account in Outlook:
In Outlook 2013 and 2010, select File > Info > Account Settings > Data Files. If iCloud is listed as the default account in the Comments column, select a different account and click Set as Default.
In Outlook 2007, select File > Data File Management > Data Files. If iCloud is listed as the default account in the Comments column, select a different account and click Set as Default.
If you recently made changes in Outlook and they are not updating on your other devices or vice versa, click the Refresh button in Outlook.
Turn iCloud Calendar off and back on:
Close Outlook.
Open the iCloud Control Panel:
In Windows 8.1, go to the Start screen, click the down arrow in the lower-left corner, then click the iCloud app.
In Windows 8, go to the Start screen, then click the iCloud tile.
In Windows 7, choose Start menu > All Programs > iCloud > iCloud.
Deselect the checkbox next to Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks, and click Apply. Wait a few seconds, then replace the checkmark and click Apply.
Open Outlook and test to see if the issue has been resolved.

Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it reinitializes your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.
Note: When enabling Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks in the iCloud Control Panel, part of the setup process is to copy your Calendars data from the default Outlook .pst file to iCloud, then remove the Calendars from the .pst file by placing them in the Deleted Items folder in Outlook. The Calendars data is then stored in the iCloud data set within Outlook so that changes can be pushed to and from Outlook by iCloud. Make sure that you're looking for your data within the iCloud folder in Outlook after enabling Calendars in the iCloud Control Panel. The deleted files can be seen by viewing Deleted Items within your Outlook Folder List. This is not iCloud removing your data. iCloud simply copies your data into the iCloud data set and then removes the local Calendars data by placing it in the Deleted Items folder.

If you want to move to a new, separate iCloud account you have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account. Deleting the account will only delete it from your phone, not from iCloud. This will not effect other devices still using the account. Also, you can continue to share your ID for the iTunes and App stores even though you will have a different ID for iCloud. They do not need to be the same.
To begin, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll or you will lose them. To do this, open the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, if you have any data in either iCloud account that you no longer want (such as someone else's contacts) you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete it.

How do you update icloud with contacts transferred to Iphone by Verizon? The only contacts that show up in icloud are the ones I entered myself to the phone.

You'll need to copy them to iCloud in order to see them on your PC. To do this, do the following:
Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup. Use this to backup the remaining contacts on your phone (from Verizon) as a vCard attachment to an email that you send to yourself. Confirm that you have received the email.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the Verizon contacts back to your phone. They should now be in iCloud, and appear on your PC. You may see duplicate contacts on your phone because you are still viewing both the contacts from Verizon as well as the copies now in iCloud.
Open Contacts on your phone and tap Groups, tap the Groups that were imported from Verizon so they are unchecked and tap Done. This will hide them from view and illiminate the duplicates.

Since I have updated my ipad2 to iOS7 it has been at the "Updating iCloud settings". 3 hours have elapsed now without any indication on progress being made. Also if I do not touch my ipad every 15 minutes it will turn off. By the looks of it turning off undoes all progress being made.
