How to update motion templates in the timeline
If I add a motion template to a sequence, then decide to chance the motion template, how can i update all instances of that template in the timeline?
It may be too late now, but in the future, if you plan to use a motion template repeatedly (with the same settings) and consider changing it later, one possible way to achieve that may be to enclose it in a compound clip, since all instances of compound clips are automatically updated when one of them is. But of course by doing this you'll lose the ability to separately tweak the parameters for different instances.

Anyone found out how to update table styles in the new Pages? I see it's done in some of the templates that Apple provided, but I can't find it. Also, the Copy table style command is gone, so I can't make my tables look in a uniform way, unless I use one of the built-in styles.

How to update ABSKZ field in the table EKPO

Is there any way to update the rejection indicator (ABSKZ) field of table EKPO?.
I am looking at BAPI_CHANGE_PO FM, But it does not have ABSKZ field in the item structure BAPIMEPOITEM.
Do I need to extend the BAPI structure with ABSKZ field ?

To extend BAPI_PO_CHANGE for EKPO-ABSKZ field , we have to add field in the structure BAPI_TE_MEPOITEM to pass it to EXTENSIONIN. As ABSKZ field already availble in the EKPO it is not allowed to add ABSKZ in the structure BAPI_TE_MEPOITEM. it is throwing below error message.
Field ABSKZ in table EKPO is specified twice. Please check
Since it is not Z field and also not availble in the structure BAPIMEPOITEM not sure how to update ABSKZ field in the EKPO table.
Please advice.

I disagree, Mr. WJ:
If Matt had updated his iPhone via the Cloud and not by USB cable to his computer, the old IOS would still be on the computer and he would be able to "restore" to it. It would depend on what his backup settings were configured.
For instance, I always backup to my computer at home. But, in the last few days I was notified that IOS 6.1 came out. So, if I wanted, I could install the update via WIFI from where I am at work. But, my old IOS would still be safe on my home computer that I can restore from if need be.
And then you basically repeated what I stated about Google Maps being a app you can download now.

Repeatedly crashes. What I ended up doing was using a backup Final Cut Projects file and jettisoning this one with the glitch. Luckily, nada much lost. I've had a couple of these weird glitches happen in the Timeline, esp. when dealing with compound audio-only clips & some fx's and rather than spending mega time trying to fix the problem, I bail and start again, and try to be more methodical in my approach.

Being brand new to FCPX and Motion 5 I want to use a motions template I have bought for a wedding DVD I have shot, so as to place the introductory template at the start of my film. I have looked at tutorials and cant seem to see anything that tells me simply how to achieve this. Do I edit my film as normal in FCPX and then transfer to Motion to add the motion template or visa versa ?? I need a simple answer as I am far from an expert. Can anyone help please.
what do you mean by 'motion template'?
as you notice on launch of M5, it offers you different project types.
when you select 'title', the minute you save it, it's avail on next launch of FCPX in the title-browser.
same with effects.
if you like to use M5 for producing a short segment (eg, I created my 'openers' with it, some animation of our soccer-team's logo, the first 4sec in this video), you simply export the final project as a Quicktime-file and add it to some Event in FCPX for future use ... -
I have an image in my Final Cut Express project, which has lots of intricate movements and keyframes assigned to it.
I've just discovered I need to change something in the image (give it a photoshop edit).
Do I have to re-import the image all over again, and copy over the numerical details in for the "motion" section, or can I just do something to replace the file and have FCE use that new image in the timeline, keeping everything that was setup?
ThanksIn system preferences set the external editor for stills to Photoshop. Control-click on the image and select open in editor. Make the changes. Save the image.

Edit Motion project as Motion template in FCP timeline?

I'd like to know is it possible to turn basic Motion project into Motion template in Final Cut Pro timeline? If not possible I think this would be a great feature because it simply takes too much time to copy motion projects for example to 10 edits /library/motion... folder to have them accessible as templates. I know it wouldn't be possible to see preview videos this way but I wouldn't care. Motion templates are a great tool but this way a little bit too slow to use for simple text animations etc.In FCP, right-click the Motion project and choose open in editor. In Motion, choose save as template.

If you have zip file of the project then unzip it into your project location where all projects are there .then in NWDS go to file->import->multiple existing project into workspace->browse the file where you have saved it and select the comp folder inside the project folder->click finish.Now you are able to see the webdynpro project in the webdynpro explorer.If its not appearing then go to Navigatore and right click on project and click on open project, it will open the project in webDynpro explorer.

The For loop will loop through the "newsDB" array and set the var accordingly (positive, negative, neutral). The variables are what is populating the arrayCollection (ratingAC). How would I either a) bind the variables to the ArrayCollection so that it updates when one has changed, or b) update the specific index in the array collection. When debugging, i notice that the variables are updating, but the arrayCollection is not.
