If your on IOS 5 you can update thru your phone via wifi and plugged into a wall charger.
If your not on IOS 5 then plug your phone to your computer open iTunes and then update that way, itunes should automatically see that an update is needed. Suggest you backup your phone first then update.

you can update your Flash version to 3.1, by downloading the appropriate files from the Adobe website for the distributable player. i too have a N78 and did so on v20, v21 and v30 firmwares when they were released. although bear in mind that this is not actually a proper proper update to 3.1, as it does not show up in the version information of the Flash Player. there is talk of Adobe releasing a proper Flash Player across many mobile phone platforms later this year or next year, so holding out for that.

you dont need computer. go to settings > icloud and turn off what you dont want like photostream/calendars/contacts. for itunes 11.1 you need to go to itunes.com and download it then install it.
