Actually, I am aware that the upgrade is implemented in 10.6.7. However, up until now I haven't been able to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.6.7, as I have software that is not yet compatible. So I wondered how to do it within 10.6.6? May be it is not possible? Anyway, this gave me a push to track the software I use for compatibility, and I found that an update for 10.6.7 now is ready for download, so then I will probably solve two issues at the same time. Takes a little work though. Thank you again for your advice.

You can update applications from the App Store app, and going to the Updates tab to the far right.
Or, you can update the applications from iTunes, then sync your phone to iTunes. Applications will update that way too.

It is like that now, since 4 days ago...
someone I know has experienced it, in French store it was first in free application (because of a promotion, the App was originally not free), He became first of the free Apps, and when the promotion has ended, he passed to paid again, and nothing... It should have shown in Top Paid Apps, but no.
I have seen the same thing with Air Sharing, which was 1st of the paid application, because of its huge download number, when the price changed, it stayed one day on top of paid Apps, and the next day, it was out of the top50, you can't get out of the Top50 so quicly, Apple must have done something about it !

I just downloaded the latest itunes and i cant figure out how to update my iphone apps on my computer now. I go to the toolbar on the top and press search for updates and it tells me that the latest version of itunes is already downloaded or that there are no updates available at this time. Previously, i would be able to go to the apps page on itunes and then press search for updates and then download all. Then I would sync with my phone and both phone and computer would be updated. Now I can only update on the phone and I know Im going to encounter where it tells me the info for downloading is too large to do it on your phone, hence my first question.....where do I go to update my apps on my computer????

While you're in itunes, with the leftside window open, click on Apps. Then, look across the top middle of your itunes screen. You will see several choices: All, Iphone/iPad Touch, Ipad, Ipod Games, List, and Updates.
Clicking on each of these gives you a different view.
When you select ALL you will see all of your apps. When you select Updates you sill see only the apps that need to be updated. When you are in Updates you will see the Update button in the lower right corner.

You didn`t mention your landscape details(OS,DB ver etc). Always start your query by giving the background of your landscape.
If you are using R/3 4.*, Unix, Oracle then below is the procedure,
After applying the kernal patch in CI, there is no need to apply in app servers. The reason is , there is a exe program( SAPCPE.exe) in app server which compares the kernal version of CI and copies the newly added kernel file when ever there is a mis match between the app server and CI.
This is done automatically during the app server restart.
You can check in /usr/sap/<SID>/sys/exe/run/SAPCPE.exe

I have recently built two apps with Indesign, DPS and Viewer Builder – one single-folio and one multi-folio.
In both cases I want to do an update on the iPad screen icon that I originally provided via Viewer Builder, and I wonder how straightforward this process is?
Can I do this without re-building the folios?
Is there any difference in the two cases?
The folios are working fine, so I don't want to do "too much" work. That is, to accidentally delete or ruin anything.
I had changed my icon designs when I added the apps in iTunes Connect, so the icons in App Store are correct.
I recognize that the correct icons display on the iPad screen while installing the apps, but they change to the old/wrong ones once the installation is finished.

1. Yes the app have to be re-submit to Apple, so "re-approved". Usually it take the same time or bit less, all is on Apple hand as usual
2. When the new version app will be approved and released in Apple Store, users will not receive a push notifications (this is only for the folio); USers will see when opening the Apple Store app, in the update section that your app have a new version they can update.
Or if you publish a new folio that have been created with a newest version of Folio Builder/Producer, they will get a push notification asking them to update their app in order to download the new folio

Are you asking how to download large apps using iTunes on your computer? Or is "in iTunes" referring to iTunes on your iPhone?
If you mean download large apps using iTunes on your computer (instead of your iPhone) and then syncing the apps to your iPhone, you might try Settings > iTunes & App Store > [Automatic Download] Apps = "Off"

I will give my old iPad to my mom and I would like to disable "Settings>General>Restrictions>Installing Apps" so that she or other famliy kids will not unintentionally install some bad/garbage apps.
But I found a problem, without Apps Store, the apps already there will not be updated any more !! Am I right?
It seems that we need Apps Store for apps update, but disabling the "Settings>General>Restrictions>Installing Apps" will remove the Apps Store.
Does anybody know any way to work around? I mean the apps already there could be update while "Settings>General>Restrictions>Installing Apps" is disabled.

So we have our app available in the app store. We want to update it.
1. We made some edits to the folio in InDesign.
2. We updated the articles in the folio.
3. We opened up DPS App Builder > Manage > Edit
4. We followed the prompts and updated our app.
5. We downloaded the new .ipa of our app and tested it on our iPads and they show none of our edits made to the folio.
What should we do now?
