How to update Photoshop and rest of CS4 suite to 64 bit windows 7

Hi. I've been using Adobe CS4 Master Suite on a 32 bit vista system.
I'm switching to a 64 bit windows 7 computer.
After going through the whole Master Suite Installation process, all of my Adobe programs show up in 32 bit / x86 format, except Photoshop which shows up both in 32 bit / x86 folder AND in 64 bit.
How do I get the rest of the Master Suite to show up / install in 64 bit? (is there a separate update? require a separate purchase? and why did photoshop work whereas the rest did not?)
And how do I check within the individual program to see if it's 32 or 64 bit? (photoshop has a system info tab that identified PS as 64 bit, but other progs don't have that)

You don't. Only Photoshop is 64bit, the other apps are conventional 32bit apps. The isntall location is therefore correct (within microsofts guidelines).

You can't. Any version before Creative Cloud does not support high-DPI displays and that is just that. If you cannot adjust the system's screen resolution and so on, then there is nothing you can do.

In any case it doesn't matter. I returned it to the store where I bought it.
Rule #1; Don't use a product if the people who produce that product (software, hardware, etc.) don't properly support it.
User forums and\or chat lines, are useful and may help. But! They do not constitute proper support (not for installation purposes anyway).

Why do I get notices to update Photoshop and Audition every day or two after I have updated?

Several times now the Creative Cloud Manager has notified me to update Photoshop and Audition. I apply the updates only to get the request again a day or two later. I have checked and both apps are the version CC wants to update to. Now CC wants me to update again. Both apps are working, but the continual notices to update repeatedly are rather annoying.

Did that and I tried again, download stops halfway through and comes up with same message I have already quoted. Wifi Signal is 5/5, network is working, just not letting me download via iTunes.

64 Bit Photoshop CS4 running on 64 Bit WIndows 7 - does it work for anyone?

Is anyone running 64 BI Photoshop CS4 running on 64 Bit WIndows 7 without any problems? Mine is totally unusable due to wild erratic brushes (clone, healing, eraser and more). I have had zero success with Adobe. Two weeks after posting a support incident, they finally responded with an answer that had absoutley nothing to do with my support ticket. Unbelievable. SO maybe I'll get another response in 2 more weeks.
I have another thread that explains my problems, but that is not the purpose of this post. For this I am interested in what configurations people are using with 64 bit CS4 and 64 bit Windows 7, especially, what graphics cards are you using in the situations where there are no problems. I will even buy new graphics cards, because I have to. I cannot work as is.
Is anyone using dual graphics cards successfully with 64 bit Win 7 and 64 bit CS4. if so, what cards?

PS CS4 does not support dual cards (or dual GPU cards) so the other card in the case is not being used.

For past two days I am trying to download Weblogic Server 10.3.5 and ATG 10.3.2 for 64 bit window but the download stops after downloading 30 or 40 MB and once I got network error. I dont know whats the issue. I even disabled my antivirus and firewall, still no luck. Any help is appreciated.

I've just received an ad from Adobe saying that I can update my old Photoshop CS to the CS4 one. Cool ! But I was wondering if it is ok to buy the CS4 for Mac, as my original Photoshop CS was for PC ? Will the licensing process work in that case ?

save me some time and get my site up sooner. I do not have a url
yet to show you all. The template came with the images prepared in
photoshop included in a psd file along with the images and html
files. I was told to just doubleclick the psd file in dreamweaver
and when photoshop opened edit the layers with the new text I
wanted and then save to web. I have a good looking set of images
now with the text I wanted in the pictures but save to web left me
with 0064.html a file I can look at but not edit in dreamweaver. I
thought when you saved to web it would update all of the image and
html files so I could finish developing the site.
If you can figure out how to get this to work please clue me
in. It looks like the template shortcut with photoshop pictures is
perhaps the long way around however it has made me look at
everything and it got me here.

That's a red flag. Building a page in an image editor (e.g.
Photoshop) and
then "saving to web" is a terrible way to build web sites.
You should only
use Photoshop and the like to build the images. Page layout,
text, etc.
should be assembled in DW.

Updating Photoshop and Bridge CS6

I'm trying to update Photoshop CS6 13.0.0. to 13.0.3 The Update option under "Help" menu is grayed out and when I manually download the upgrade and try and install either 13.0.1 or 13.0.3, I get:
"Updates could not be applied
Please contact your Administrator if you wish to apply updates on your machine. Updates have been suppressed by the Administrator."
I am the Administrator! I have uninstalled Photoshop and re-installed 13.0.0 and still get the same error...
System: Mac OSX 10.8.2
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Jeff, I downloaded 13.0.4 and tried to install it with the same error. I've also been searching my log files and found that the only Adobe install log (except for a few very old ones like CS5) is the log for my re-install of CS6 13.0.0 which completes with:

Mac OS X Tiger was discontinued years ago, and if Software Update doesn't detect any new update, it's because you are running the latest Java and QuickTime version for Tiger.
Apart from that, I see that you have a G5, so the most recent Mac OS X version you can use is Mac OS X Leopard, another version that it's (or it's going to be) discontinued soon. PowerPC support is completely dead now, and if you want the most recent QuickTime and Java versions, you will need a Intel-based Mac with OS X Lion or Mountain Lion, that have got the latest Java 6 versions and they are compatible with Java 7
