How to update PM work Order Tasklist

Hi all , hoping i can get some help on this one.
We have release a pm workorder and then updated the tasklist.
What i would like to know is how to get the updated tasklist to appear and already released pm order.
This would be similisr to re-exploding a BOM in PP.

There's no standard way of doing this other than deleting the operations and re-importing the relevant task list

the order postpone is possible. You can select any operation , go to dates and there u will find can not start before .You can mention the date threre and release the order
The storekeeper will only issue material after the date has come

How to refer the work order status value from a different transaction in the step handler?

Hi All,
I have a requirement to check the status of the work order from a different transaction before doing some logic in the current transaction. The following transactions are done to replicate the issue
1)changing the status to ONSITE to edit the work order (transaction 1)
2)Adding some information which will do some logic (transaction 2)
3)Completing the work order (transaction 3)
The transaction 2 will have some logic and will be executed only if the status is COMP but even though the status is COMP now (transaction 3) my condition check in the logic is showing as ONSITE status(transaction.status=ONSITE) and it fails. How can i get the latest status of the work order in the device? Please advice

The CompleteWorkOrderFinish sub action does have Apply action (screenshot 1) and the transaction definition (screenshot 2)of CompleteWorkOrderFix transaction with the only property Status which has the following settings (screenshot 3)
Also I am trying to add a status property in EditMeterFitDetaisl transaction and update this value with the current status of the work order using object collections filtering with key value. Please let me know if that approach can be followed. Thanks

You could temporarly adjust the CUNI definition for TST so that it can be converted to seconds. Adjust the notifications to set a valid unit of measure.
The alternative would be to update the field MAUEH in table QMIH with a valid breakdown unit of measure.

Work Center update during work order save (SAP PM) using exit IWO10009

Hi All,
I am updating the work center in the operation record of a work order using exit IWO1009. In the debug, the internal table for operation is updated successfully. But once the processing is done and I see the order though t-code IW33, I couldn't see the updated workcenter. And surprisingly, plant field which I am updating with work center, is getting updated in the operation and I can see this in IW33.

How do determine the work orders for a sales order?

I'm forced to calculate our costs by sales order. So for a given sales order number, how is this linked to the work order that created the items on the sales order?

How a update statement works internally in oracle

I just wanted to know when a user issues a update (any DML) statement, what are all the steps involved?
Like when user updated some statement, the modified block goes to the undo tablespace and new data will be stored in the user PGA and when user issues a commit statement.Does it delinked it from the uno tablespace and lgwr flushed the block to the redo logfile(does the lgwr also flushed the uncommited changes to the logfile as datafile stores the committed as well as uncomitted data).Can anybody suggest me how all the things work internally?

Hi,
If you have a maintenance BOM and Routing for the activity in use for your work order
The work order created will get the data defaulted from those BOM and Routing ie operations , BOM and Routing.
Please check whether you have the BOM and routing and also please compare the BOM and routing information with the information you are adding.
Also make sure that you are passing all the mandatory inputs.

Revision updation on work orders

Dear All,
I want to know that there is any way to update the dates on work orders which is holding revision value.
user input a revision into work order
user changes the dates on the revision.
if user want to apply the changed date values, then user must change the work order by manual, need to input the same revision number once again.
our customer want to apply the changed values automatically or by mass.

As per suggested by Pete, for Single order you may process it going to iw32 --> Order --> Revision--> Refresh Dates.
If you want to do it in Mass you may:
1. go to IW38, give your selection (Revision in particular) for displaying the list of orders,
2. Select all the orders whose dates you wish to refresh,
3. Go to Order --> Revision --> Refresh Dates your order dates will be refreshed.
(For Mass you may use IW37N also as suggested by Pete but, that will give you list of Operations together with order).

Can any one plz tell where to query work order data?
I need to pull completed work orders in a time period.
and I need to query the items which are generated at my Manufacturing Inventory org upon completion of the
work orders in that time period.

You can query from front end using Discrete >>Discrete Jobs screen. Put completion date range and the select the status button and you can query any required status.
Once you get to the folder you can do an export to look at the data.

How to print batch work orders displaying only 1 task

I would like to know if it possible to print in large groups only task 0010 and then print task 0020 in another batch and so on. Excluding everything else except for the designated task number.I hope this makes sense.

I have just worked this out.
I copy all the work order numbers and copy them into Z4022 (WORK ORDER MASS PROCESSING)
Then I can sort to whatever is required.
Highlight a specific group or type and then press the print operations button located next to the release button on the ribbon.
Note: If task 0010 and 0020 is both highlighted together they do not print seperate.

"/SCMTMS/TRQ~ROOT" is for sales order header and "/SCMTMS/TRQ~ITEM" is for details.
I assume you need to
enhance the structures for these nodes to hold your add. fields;
and do the same for the input parameter of service TransportationRequestRequest_In (which is used to create OTR) from PI side;
Pass the add. fields during service call (impelment in ERP system);
Map the fields from service paremeter to node attribute (implement in TM system, BAdI /SCMTMS/TRQ_SE_TPNRQ_REQ~CHANGE_MODIFICATION create modification table for the input parameter).
I cannot find source code for all of that; hope it helps.

Unique constraint ERROR How to update the task order customly?

I am using DAC to load data from Siebel database into Oracle Business Analytic Data Warehouse for BI Apps. Now we encounter a question. I need some help.
When I run current execute plan, the Custom_shyy_SIL_ActivityFact is failured.Beause the *'unique constraint (SHYY_OLAP_DEV.W_ACTIVITY_F_U1) violated'* ORA_00001 ERROR. I analyse this question.At last, I think this question is caused with some below reason.
My custom execute plan include some Update Dimension from Dimension tasks. They are SIL_EmployeeDimension_SCDUpdate and SIL_ProductDimension_SCDUpdate and so no. that tasks that marked Update Dimension from Dimension run before the Custom_shyy_SIL_ActivityFact. And, in the w_product_d one integration_id corresponding with two records, but the curent_flag ='Y' recored is only. Now ,I Think the SDCU Task is run before the Load fact tack. I discoved it does't work. please help me !

When Doing a full Load through DAC it drops all the unique indexes and then inserts the data and recreates the indexes again.The Index Creation fails if there are duplicate rows (Rows with same integration_id).
So start Checking the Data right from the Source Level.
First check the Source (do this using the integration_id thats repeating,Go through the informatica Mappings(ETL Mappings).
If its Fine there Come to the Staging Level and Check for Duplicate Columns.
Then Check in the final Table for Duplicate records.
My Guess is that you are having duplicate rows at the Source level.
If your are using informatica try using distinct for the SQL in the Source Qualifier(think that should block any duplicate records).
Update here If you are able to solve this.
