How to update resource status to productive when SFC start

Hello,
When SFC X starts at resource A, how can we make status of A to Productive automatically?
I've heard that the operator starts some work. Then, the resource becomes productive.
But I can't do that. Is there any setting or operation?

Not sure if I understand your question - so if the info below does not answer it, please specify the request with more details.
Status of Resource is defined in Resource Maintenance, "Status" field. If Stutus = Productive and no SFCs are in work at the Resource, then all time is recorded against Statndby column of Resource Utilization Summary Report. As soon as any SFC is started at the Resource, the time is tracked as Productive. If the status is changed to any other value, then no matter if there is active SFC or not - the time will be tracked against the corresponding column in Resource Utilization Summary Report.

I am trying to use XML Versioning. And not able to update the resource content using PL/SQL. Upon executing update, sql prompt says 1 row updated, but when I extract the same resource, it returns previous values. Is this a bug?

Update the whole 'Test' element itself with the new element and value.
example:
update resource_view
set res = updatexml(res, '/Resource/Contents/*', '<Test>Version 2</Test>') where any_path = '/public/test.xml';

Look into table, JEST, JSTO, AFPO & AFKO. CAUFV filed OBJNR, TJ02T filed ISTAT.
But, it is very difficult to combine the details like Order and System status.
Take the help of your ABAPer to generate Report for you.

If u r using the standard message and basic type
u can do it in the FM attached to the basic and message type.There u need to write ur own message instead of standard SAP message..chek if there r any userexits available in the FM..where u can overwrite ur own message ..
If u r using the Zmessage and Zbasic type
then u need to declare an internal table of EDIDS structure and then append ur message to the internal table..
idoc_status-docnum   = idoc_contrl-docnum.
idoc_status-msgty    = <message type>
idoc_status-msgid    = message-id.
idoc_status-msgno    = message-number.
idoc_status-msgv1    = message-message_v1.
idoc_status-repid    = sy-repid.
idoc_status-status   = <give the error status>.
APPEND idoc_status.

If you mean you wish to purchase CS5 as an upgrade for CS4, Adobe no longer sells CS5. You can purchase CS6, but not likely as an upgrade however because for many CS6 products they require CS5 or newer to qualify for an upgrade purchase of CS6. I sent the document as a PDF and it worked. But I want to be able to use Pages back and forth. HOw do I update the Pages version on my desktop iMac?

The file format used by the iOS versions of the iWork apps can only be read by the new iWork apps on your Mac - i.e. Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. Those versions for the Mac require Mavericks, OS X 10.9. The "too old" error on a Mac comes if you are trying to open an iWork '08 or earlier file in the newest apps. If you do have the newest apps you can open the files from your iPad.
If you can't or don't want to upgrade to Mavericks & the newest iWork apps your best option would be to export/share the files from the iPad to a type an older version of iWork can read such as Word, text, Excel, etc.
Or contact AppleCare. They made this mess, let them fix it.

How to set ascential status "not aborted" when no file is present

Can anyone advise how can i set up the job in ascential to by pass the abort status whenever i have no file in place. Normally what happened is, the job is triggered everyday and when a file has missed to maintain in the defined directory, it gets aborted. What the requirement is to set to not aborted status so that when the next run in BW is triggered, we dont need to go to admin to reset the job every so often..

EXIT.
ENDIF.
In case you don't have developing authorization just get anybody who can do this for you.

OK I click on the link and off it sends me to where I should go to do this but I can not see anywhere as to how or where to do this. I do a Ctrl-F for a "Find" and type in the word ''status' should my eyes be failing me as to where this can be done, but nothing shows up. So I'm lost here.

SPRO - Quality Management - Quality Notifications - Overview of Notification Type.
In that select the concerned notification and click on the status profile and there you can assign the status profile for the concerned notification Type.
There will be two types,
status profile for notifications and status profile for tasks, assign as per the requirement.

If your task shows In Progress state then I think you need to look at your workflow and make sure you are using Complete Task activity and if you are already using Complete Task Activity then verify the Correlation ID. Ideally you are not required to set
this value in workflow. You simply use the Complete Task Activity.

In the planning book-dataview, you will assign the time bucket profile, and will be on rollling basis. if you want the forecast profile on rolling basis, maintain the forecast and history horizon as periods then that will also be on rolling basis.

you can use BAP to confirm, write LSMW via transaction CN25 or write a Z program via CN25 or CN22 to update status etc

Took Quicktime Update - now Microsoft Office Products fail to start

I took the latest Quicktime 7.2 update today. Now my Microsoft applications won't start up! I use my Mac at work and without Word I'm screwed. How can I get my office products to run again? QuickTime 7.0.4 broke applications, now 7.2 is breaking them. What's the deal with QuickTime???
I'm going to have start doing the Microsoft "wait" with my Mac now. "Not take ANY updates for at least a week from release", because the updates cause more issues than the old versions. This is VERY frustrating.

OK, I'm back up and running.
Another thread had some information from bigman13 that provided a solution. It appears that most (not all) of the people having this problem had also installed Java6 beta. If you are one of those people, here is a solution that might help you. Caution - this involves performing steps from a command shell.
I think you must have a root account enabled to do this. If you don't and wish to enable it, select the "Help | Mac Help" menu item from your desktop screen and type in "root account". Select the "Enabling the root user" entry and follow those instructions.
Steps to fix the problem:
1) Open a Terminal window and type...
2) su -
3) cd /Library/Receipts/JavaSE6Release1.pkg/Contents
4) lsbom -s -f Archive.bom > /tmp/files
5) Now edit the /tmp/files file with a text editor and replace " " with "\ " and all "./" with "rm /" - Resave the file
6) From the terminal again: sudo bash /tmp/files
7) rm -r /Library/Receipts/JavaSE6Release1.pkg
8) sudo update_prebinding
9) I rebooted my Mac
10) Test that Word runs again - Mine Did!
11) I then reinstalled Java6
