How to update table J_1IPART1,without replacing the old values

Helllo Friends
Problem:
When I capture the  excisable document in T-code J1IEX, the table J_1IPART1 does not  get updated ,but when I do the good receipts by 101,then entry in the above table get updated ,by replacing the  previous entry.
What should I do so that table J_1IPART2 hold all the captured values without replacing the old values.
And after what time of interval do I need to update the register, is it on daily bases or on monthly bases

Try these steps:
1. Post MIGO without excise entry
2. J1I5 - Update register for RG23A Part1 with classification ROP.
3. Post excise Invoice through J1IEX
You should update the register on daily basis.

  • How to update my ipod without deleting the old files?

    i have 2 pc and different songs on them..but whenever i want to update my ipod from the second one ..it keeps telling that my ipod is linked to another itune and uploading will delete the old file..would someone tell me how to go around it?..thanks
      Windows XP Pro

    Connect your iPod and when you get the message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press *No*. Pressing "Yes" will irretrievably remove all songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual as per the link below.
    You can also use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys (on a Mac hold down the Option and Command (⌥ and ⌘) keys). This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 20 to 30 seconds depending on your computer. Then go to Edit>Preferences>iPod and check the "Manually manage songs and playlists" box: Managing Your Songs Manually

  • Replacing the old value with new value on the website

    Hi ,
    I have two input fields CLIN # and PR#.When i enter the text,for the first it is working fine,second time when i enter it is replacing the value which i enter with the first one.I should not replace the old value.
    ex:
    Example when i enter test5 for the first time
    CLIN # :Test 5
    Next when i enter Test6 ,this value replaces the first one
    CLIN#: Test6
    CLIN#:Test6(there is no test5)
    I am doing for my istore application.Any ideas

    As the user that created the anonymous block ruun:
    select count(*) from general_acct_mast_table;
    and
    select tbaadm.count(*) from general_acct_mast_table;I strongly suspect that they are actually two different tables, and the tbaadm version is substantially larger that the non-qualified one.
    In any case I would not be doing this as a row-by-row procedure. I would create two lookup tables like:
    create table masked_general as
    select acid, foracid, round(dbms_random.value(81000000,85000000)) masked
    from (select distinct acid, foracid
          from general_acct_mast_table
          where acct_ownership not in ('O'));
    create table masked_stmnt as
    select * from masked_general;
    alter table masked_general add constraint masked_general_pk
       primary key (acid);
    alter table masked_stmnt add constraint masked_stmnt_pk
       primary key (foracid);Then do the updates as:
    update (select g.foracid, g.acid, gm.masked
            from general_acct_mast_table g
               join masked_general gm
                  on g.acid = gm.acid)
    set foracid = masked;
    update (select s.foracid, sm.masked
            from mini_stmnt_details_table s
               join masked_stmnt sm
                  on s.foracid = sm.acid)
    set foracid = masked;Note that this assumes that both acid and foracid are individually unique in general_acct_mast_table, which seems to be implied by your procedure, and that you want to be able to roll the whole thing back if there are problems (that is, you do not want to commit between the update of general_acct_mast_table and mini_stmnt_details_table).
    I would also probably a a verification step after creating the first masked table to ensire that you did get unique vluaes back fo the masked column.

  • How to update web galleries without replacing them?

    When I export a web gallery that already exists (i.e. when I've added some new photos and want to update), it just gives me the option to replace it. How can one continually update one's website via LR without completely replacing it each time?

    Do as many of the rest of us do, until this behavior is changed (if ever). Eport your WEb gallery to your Hd and use an FTP client, there are so many, including Drreamweaver's, and Shareware ones, and upload just the relevant files/folders. Some can even check and do this for you.

  • Upgraded to CC from CS5.5 now all Illustrator templates have a 'missing font' (myraid-Italic). How can I fix this without replacing the font?

    Replacing the font is not an option. This would mean resaving thousands of company files.
    Also, none of the templates use Myraid Italic. They were created with Myraid Roman.
    This has never been an issue when upgrading to other versions of Illustrator.
    Every file I open will pop-up with the missing font notice; this is very annoying when checking numerous files (I have to click okay everytime for the file to load).

    I actually have a fairly simple solution to this for Windows 7.  Don't mess with your registry or delete other fonts. Go into c:/windows/fonts.  Check to see that you have the set of fonts "Segoe UI".  Inside this set are 6 Segoe fonts:
    Regular (segoeui)
    Regular Italic (segoeuii)
    Bold (segoeuib)
    Bold Italic (segoeuiz)
    Semi Bold (seguisb)
    Light (segoeuil)
    You may not have them arranged in a set, but just check that you have all of them.
    Make sure programs (i.e iTunes) are closed.
    If you don't have the fonts, find them on the internet, ask a friend to copy and paste them, send them to you etc.  They are easy and free to get.  Download them to your desktop.  Right click each one and "Install".
    If you already have them in your fonts folder (my problem) do this:  COPY (not cut) them from your c:/windows/fonts folder to your desktop.  Close windows explorer.  From your desktop, right click each one and "Install".  You will get a message that they are already installed and do you want to install a newer version or some such.  Say "Yes".  They will get re-installed.
    Open iTunes and you should have all your text back!
    *Based on a sample of one - hopefully it works for you.

  • How to find certain words based on table without overwriting the old one

    Hello,
     I have a list of words available in one particular table, based on those records i need to match it up with one specific column on another table. Based on that match i need to update the same. below is answer for this question;
    Design a new query. Select your data table and your words table. No join line between them.
    Drag datatable.* to the design grid, and the field to check. In the criteria for that field write:
    Like '*' & [wordstable]![wordsfield] & "*"
    (of course you change this to your object names)
    But now my another question is that how i can do update without replacing the existing one. Like for example " Peter is engineering degree".
    In this example if i have words like ring and degree on my reference table, then as per the solution it will update the degree first then later if its find ring on the text then it will overwrite the degree on the particular column. How i can prevent
    this?
    VinWin06

    But now my another question is that how i can do update without replacing the existing one. Like for example " Peter is engineering degree".
    I think what you are saying is that you want to avoid specious substring matches such as finding 'engineering' when searching for 'ring'.  Right?  If so use the following function rather than the LIKE operator to identify the 'word' rather than merely
    a substring:
    Public Function FindWord(varFindIn As Variant, varWord As Variant) As Boolean
       Const PUNCLIST = """' .,?!:;(){}[]/"
       Dim intPos As Integer
       FindWord = False
       If Not IsNull(varFindIn) And Not IsNull(varWord) Then
           intPos = InStr(varFindIn, varWord)
           ' loop until no instances of sought substring found
           Do While intPos > 0
               ' is it at start of string
               If intPos = 1 Then
                   ' is it whole string?
                   If Len(varFindIn) = Len(varWord) Then
                       FindWord = True
                       Exit Function
                   ' is it followed by a space or punctuation mark?
                   ElseIf InStr(PUNCLIST, Mid(varFindIn, intPos + Len(varWord), 1)) > 0 Then
                       FindWord = True
                       Exit Function
                   End If
               Else
                   ' is it precedeed by a space or punctuation mark?
                   If InStr(PUNCLIST, Mid(varFindIn, intPos - 1, 1)) > 0 Then
                       ' is it at end of string or followed by a space or punctuation mark?
                       If InStr(PUNCLIST, Mid(varFindIn, intPos + Len(varWord), 1)) > 0 Then
                           FindWord = True
                           Exit Function
                       End If
                   End If
               End If
               ' remove characters up to end of first instance
               ' of sought substring before looping
               varFindIn = Mid(varFindIn, intPos + 1)
               intPos = InStr(varFindIn, varWord)
           Loop
       End If
    End Function
    You can supplement this with the following functions to find any or all of multiple words in the same string expression:
    Public Function FindAnyWord(varFindIn, ParamArray varWordList() As Variant) As Boolean
        Dim var As Variant
        For Each var In varWordList
            If FindWord(varFindIn, var) Then
                FindAnyWord = True
                Exit Function
            End If
        Next var
    End Function
    Public Function FindAllWords(varFindIn, ParamArray varWordList() As Variant) As Boolean
        Dim var As Variant
        For Each var In varWordList
            If Not FindWord(varFindIn, var) Then
                FindAllWords = False
                Exit Function
            Else
                FindAllWords = True
            End If
        Next var
    End Function
    You can edit the PUNCLIST constant in the first function to allow for any other terminating or leading punctuation characters which may exist, in non-English text for instance.

  • How to update a form after changing the underlying table

    Hi All,
    I have read a few posts on this, and I know that it would have been better to not do this, but I had to add a new column to a table in order to meet a new requirement.
    See this post:
    Design Question - Slowly Changing Dimensions (I think)
    I decided that I would store the 'price' with the 'mailed_item' - so I had the actual price at the time the item was mailed. And then the MST table could be updated as needed without impacting the historic records.
    Now my issue is: How do I add another field to the form (I was thinking hidden) that would reference the price from the Mail_Service_Type table?
    Mailed_Item
    ID
    MST_ID (Mail_Service_Type FK)
    Piece_Count
    Price (**New)
    Mail_Service_Type
    ID
    Name
    Weight
    Price
    Can this be done easily, or should I recreate the form? Is is just a simple PL/SQL or SQL statement? Or should I build another process (maybe a trigger) to get the value?
    Any thoughts would be appreciated...
    Corey

    Nahman,
    Typically it's enough to re-load data used: check binding of your UI controls on second tab to context attributes and depict what nodes are used. Then re-initialize these nodes: either just via invalidating them or via re-binding elements / re-executing queries + re-binding elements.

  • I updated to Firefox 4 and it will not work so I can not get on line and it replaced the old firefox so I also lost all my bookmarks. I need them back. How do I get them?

    I have a Mc g5 with the 10.4.11 operating system. Your site is my home page and it kept bugging me to update to the firefox 4. So I did now when I try to get on it tells me that that "I can not open this application because it is not supported on this system". It replaced the old firefox that I had so I can not open that. I have no way to get to my book marks and I need them. Let me know how to get back to my old firefox and book marks.

    Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

    I'm setting up a laptop and want to have all the bookmarks from my desk machine to be moved there from different accounts, but in end up in one file so that I don't have to have loads of separate accounts.

    You need to combine all the links to one HTML file.
    You only need a file with Anchor links like this:

    If you export bookmarks to an HTML file then you create a copy of your bookmarks and you edit that copy and you do not affect the original bookmarks.

  • How do I transfer music from my ipod to my computer without replacing the music on my ipod with the music on my computer?

    How do I transfer music from my ipod to my computer without replacing the music on my ipod with the music on my computer?

    You can't do that with iTunes (except for songs you purchased from the iTunes Store).  However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer songs files from iPod to computer.  If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
    Once the songs files are on your computer, add them to your iTunes library.  Then, you can sync your iPod to that iTunes library, as desired.

  • How to update table styles in the new Pages?

    Anyone found out how to update table styles in the new Pages? I see it's done in some of the templates that Apple provided, but I can't find it. Also, the Copy table style command is gone, so I can't make my tables look in a uniform way, unless I use one of the built-in styles.
    Thanks.

    I'm having the same trouble. Looks like no way to create an overal 'table' style and I cannot access the table paragraph styles either.

  • How to update a field without saving in the db

    Hello,
    I have a page in htmldb with 2 fields (new value, existing value).
    This page is used by the user to validate if they want to use the new value or to keep the old one.
    I have created a button and a process. When the button is pressed, I would like the field "new value" is updated with the "old value" but only in htmldb. The user should still click on save to change the value in the db.
    Can someone tell me what is the attribute and the parameter of the process to do this ?
    Thanks in advance
    Michael

    Hello,
    >> I would like the field "new value" is updated with the "old value"
    You can do that by attaching a simple JavaScript code to your button (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10513_01/doc/appdev.310/e10499/bldapp.htm#CIHFEEGH ).
    Assuming you have a Pxx_NEW and Pxx_EXIST items, the code should be similar to the following:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function copyValue() {
       $x(‘Pxx_NEW’).value = $x(‘Pxx_EXIST’).value;
    <script>Of course, for more generic use, you can add parameters to the function.
    Hope this helps,
    Arie.

    The first thing to do with a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. You — not the previous owner — must do that. How you do it depends on the model, and on whether you already own another Mac. If you're not sure of the model, enter the serial number on this page. Then find the model on this page to see what OS version was originally installed.
    1. You don't own another Mac.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installation disc from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. Preferably, install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that came with it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for some MacBook Air models. For early MBA models, you may need a USB optical drive or Remote Disc. You should have received the media from the previous owner, but if you didn't, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
    To boot from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, you don't need media. It should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
    2. You do own another Mac.
    If you already own another Mac that was upgraded in the App Store to the version of OS X that you want to install, and if the new Mac is compatible with it, then you can install it. Use Recovery Disk Assistant to create a bootable USB device and boot the new Mac from it by holding down the C key at the startup chime. Alternatively, if you have a Time Machine backup of OS X 10.7.3 or later on an external hard drive (not a Time Capsule or other network device), you can boot from that by holding down the option key and selecting it from the row of icons that appears. Note that if your other Mac was never upgraded in the App Store, you can't use this method.
    Once booted in Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive.
    After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. You will need the Apple ID and password that you used to upgrade. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
    Then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. To upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, get it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
    3. Other issues
    If you see a lock screen when trying to boot from installation media or in Recovery mode, then a firmware password was set by the previous owner, or the machine was remotely locked via iCloud. You'll either have to contact the owner or take the machine to an Apple Store or another authorized service provider to be unlocked. You may be asked for proof of ownership.
    If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Mac App Store Customer Service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.
    If the previous owner didn't deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you wont be able to  authorize it immediately under your ID. In that case, you'll either have to wait up to 90 days or contact iTunes Support.
    When trying to create a new iCloud account, you might get a failure message: "Account limit reached." Apple imposes a limit of three iCloud account setups per device. Erasing the device does not reset the limit. You can still use an account that was created on another device, but you won't be able to create a new one. Contact iCloud Support for more information.
