However, when I look in the About Service Manager option in the console it shows a product version of 7.5.3079.0:
How do I update the console product version so that it shows the 7.5.3079.315 version?

This behaviour is expected. Unfortunately, Microsoft does not update the About Info screen of the SCSM console. Add remove programs shows version .315, which means the console was also updated.
Make sure to also update consoles that your users are running on their computers.

I'm trying to downgrade the Virtualization Software Version of one 2012 R2 host to match the others. One host is at 6.3.9600.16404. This is the correct running version of the cluster. The incorrect version on one host is 6.3.9600.17120. I would like that
version downgraded to 6.3.9600.16404.

You must mean the "virtual machine guest services" in the properties of a VM.
This is dependent on the release and patch level of the Hyper-V server that the VM was deployed to. As that is where the Integration Services (vmguest.iso) comes from, it does not come from SCVMM.
So, if you happened to deploy this VM to a Hyper-V Server at a newer patch level, then that would explain the issue.

How to update the iPad iOS version? I have an iPad (first generation) iOS 5.1.1. I can't update the software via WiFi nether via iTunes

I have an iPad (probably first generation - Model A1337 ). This tablet has iOS version 5.1.1.
I would like to update for the latest version as possible.
There is no option by iPad wifi.
I also tried by iTunes and in option Checking for UpDate, only let me know the current version, but doesn't open the possiblity to update for a newer.
How can I update the software version ?

Hi,
The first generation iPad is limited to iOS 5.1.1. This is due to the original iPad not having enough power or memory to get to iOS 6, 7 or any further in the future.
All other iPads and iPad Minis can get to the current version - iOS 7.0.4 and at least until the end versions of iOS 7 or iOS 8.

Jdev: How to update the Eclipse JPA version

Right now i am using eclipse version 2.1.3. But i need to upgrade my eclipse version to 2.3.0 . How do i upgrade my jdevelpore to this version .

I am using latest jdev (series :JDEVADF_11.1.1.6.0) , which by default provides eclipselink version 2.1.3 . But I want to use latest eclipselink version(2.3.0) . For patching my jdev i have done these things.
* Download the latest version from eclipse site (http://www.eclipse.org/eclipselink/downloads/index.php)
* Replace the older eclipselink.jar (<jdev_home>/oracle_common/modules/toplink) with newer one
When i run my app in integrated server and print the version of the eclipselink . It still prints the version 2.1.3 . Can u plz point out what step i am missing or what else i need to download to update my eclipselink version.

Double check internet connectivity, click on iTunes store and see if you can navigate through it. If not, check your firewall and see if it allows iTunes to access internet. And possibly disable third party security software (antivirus programs).

v10.7.5 is as far as Lion can be updated.
See if your Mac can upgrade to v10.9 Mavericks > OS X Mavericks: System Requirements

Problem updating iphone software version 4.3.3

Every time I have tried to update the iphone software when prompted by itunes it crashes, sometimes at the end of the update sometimes before. It comes up with an error message every time. Please can someone help?

First thing I'd do is check that I have the latest version of iTunes. This has cought me out a few times. Other thing that I've experienced is a iTunes seems to think there is a problem with my USB socket, so I've tried another and it's worked fine.

Have you checked that you are opening the new version? To check this, open a Finder window, select Applications in the sidebar and open the Pages app with the new icon, so you will get the new version.
Your problem is caused because Apple decided to keep the old iWork applications version after installing the new one. The only thing you have to do is to open it from the Applications folder, or drag the new version to the Dock, so you can access to it quickly

Updating old iphone software

I tried updating the software - which is still 3.0 or something.
Well, after the download takes place, it then tries to "backup" my iphone. I don't want my iphone backed up - I simply don't have room and it looks like it's going to take years given the rate - so I cancelled that. And now I don't seem to have the "downloaded" update anywhere.
ummmm....annoying.
Anyone have any advice?
