How to upgrade to latest Pages 4.0.3?

My existing Pages version is 4.0.2. Recently I got a notice that 4.0.3 is available for update when I open Pages. Then I click the button to allow update download and installation.
However, after software update and rebooting my MacBookPro, my Pages was not updated at all. The version is still 4.0.2. I tried to click Mac OS Software Update multiple time, it still said there is no latest software update available.
Please suggest how should I upgrade to Pages 4.0.3 from my existing status. Should I have to delete the whole iWorks and install everything again?

Thanks for your wonderful reply. I have ever changed the iWork '09 folder to iWork 09 folder. After following your advice to modify the iWork folder with correct name and redo the Software Update again, now it can detect that and download and install the latest iWork.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

There could be several causes. First, none of the applications should be running, but the installer/updater tells you to quit the applications. Second, you need to be logged in as an administrator. Although just entering an admin name & password may appear to work, it may not "stick." I don't know for sure that's true, but I do recall similar situations in the past. Finally, if you're not running the latest versions & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. They must be in the iWork '09 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work. Also, the iWork '09 updater is a single updater for all three applications & may not work if one or two are "missing" from the iWork '09 folder

If anybody has positive experience with Firefox upgrade in similar environment please advise.

I just installed a new application of CS 6 on my Windows 8.1 PC. After the install, I updated all applications, presuming I would have the most recent version.
I attempted to open an InDesign document created from a different machine earlier in the week. This is the error message I received: "Cannot open document name" because it was saved with a newer version of Adobe InDesign CC (9.1).
You must use that version or later to open the file. To then enable it to be opened in this version, choose Save As InDesign CS4 or later, or export to IDML.
Shouldn't I have the latest version of the software since I just ran an update?

CS6 came out in spring of 2012, and it is not the latest version of the applications. It was updated until 2013 when Creative Cloud versions of the applications were released.
CS6 is called a perpetual license. This means that it will not longer be updated, but you can continue to use it on your computers as long as it runs under your current operating system.
To switch to Creative Cloud versions, you need to purchase a subscription. One advantage of Creative Cloud is that you will continue to receive updates. For example, the 2014 version of CC application were just released this month.

I sent the document as a PDF and it worked. But I want to be able to use Pages back and forth. HOw do I update the Pages version on my desktop iMac?

The file format used by the iOS versions of the iWork apps can only be read by the new iWork apps on your Mac - i.e. Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. Those versions for the Mac require Mavericks, OS X 10.9. The "too old" error on a Mac comes if you are trying to open an iWork '08 or earlier file in the newest apps. If you do have the newest apps you can open the files from your iPad.
If you can't or don't want to upgrade to Mavericks & the newest iWork apps your best option would be to export/share the files from the iPad to a type an older version of iWork can read such as Word, text, Excel, etc.
Or contact AppleCare. They made this mess, let them fix it.

Hi, thanks for the response. Yea, I ended up finding a compiled FFOS 1.3 on xda-forums and installed in. So at least the phone pretty much works again and it's 99% there.

You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
You can trash Firefox 4.0 then re-install Firefox 3.6, it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords etc

How to network install latest firefox with custom home page

I'm trying to figure out how to do a network install with the latest firefox, but customized to have the default home page setup for the companies intranet web portal. I have several thousand computers that need the installation and pushing via network is the only realistic method, but I can't find a solution on how to change the home page for this. Please help!
