How to upload MYSQL tables to Linux server

I have been testing a PHP/MYSQL site on my own local apache
server, now am ready to upload to internet. My hosting company is
Papazilla.com which is an exact clone of GoDaddy.com.
I used the GoDaddy/Papazilla interface to create 3 tables
that my site needs.
Now I need to import records into the tables.
My tables were created on my computer using PHPmyAdmin. The
tables appear on my computer at this path:
C:\xampp\mysql\data\megazilladb
Each table has 3 files as listed here:
addurl.frm
addurl.myd
addurl.myi
cats.frm
cats.myd
cats.myi
sites.frm
sites.myd
sites.myi
I think the myd extension has the data, but I'm not sure.
GoDaddy/Papazilla says I can't just upload my complete
tables, I first have to create empty tables on their site, then
upload the data later.
I went to the GoDaddy/Papazilla interface and created 3 empty
tables named:
cats
sites
addurl
Then I went to the database management screen, selected the
IMPORT tab, and clicked the BROWSE button.
I browsed for the file "sites.myd"
Then I clicked GO
This brought up an error message:
#1064- You have an error in your SQL syntax, check the manual
that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax
to use near ||x|||www.classicboat.com|antique Boats For Sale? etc,
etc.
The data after the ||x||| above is the info in the first
field of the first record in the table.
The error message goes on to list the rest of the fields in
the record.
When I called Papazilla to get help, they said I can only use
the BROWSE button to upload files that end with the .SQL extension.
Why don't my files have that extension?
What can I try next to get the records uploaded into my
tables?

In addition to David's reply - you should never touch the
data directory
of the DB directly. It's completely under the control of the
server. You
don't really know which data is stored where and how (it gets
even more
complicated with InnoDB tables for example) and actually you
don't have
to know that, because these directories are not meant for
user access.
So better think of the SQL server as a black box, keep your
hands off
its data directories and use SQL commands for all actions.

How's this partition table for my server?

How's this partition table for my server? Web/DNS/DHCP/Mail Server.
hdd1: ~8gb total
/boot - 100mb
swap - 1gb
/ - rest of drive
hdd2: ~155gb total
/var - whole drive
This is a Compaq ProLiant 5500 server with 10 drives. Will most things be installed inside /var or what?

Mail = Depends which package you use. I use postfix and told it to use /srv
I would half your swap, reduce /var and put the extra space into /srv
Also create a separate /tmp and /home to prevent accidental or deliberate DoS attacks by filling your / partition

How to upload a file in application server to an internal table

      I am asked to upload a file from application server to internal table. Can you please suggest me the ways to do it or the function module which helps to browse the application server file names.

Yhe logic used here is as follows,
Get all the data into an internal table in the simple format ie: a row with one field contains an entire line
After getting the data, we split each line of the table on every occurrence of the delimiter (comma in your case)

How to Upload Excel file to Application Server

Hi Friends,
ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE this F.M is to upload the excel format into internal table , The problem here is after uploading the excel file the format has been changed according to the F.M ... so Im not able to compare the value with my final internal table because the structure is different ... even if I could match with the values Im not able to upload it to my application server ... is there any F.M which doesn't change the excel format and upload it to the internal table ? ... Or is there any other way of doing it other than using at new , case endcase. ? ...

How to transfer database tables from sql server 2000 to oracle 10g

you have to do it using ODBC HS.
1. Configure ODBC connection through gateway.
2. Create a initxxx.ora file with HS config.
restart gateway listener services
3. on target o/s add entries to your tnsnames.ora
4. On your target o/s create a db link
restart listener on target

How to upload a file to the server using ajax and struts

With the following code iam able to upload a file ato the server.
But my problem is It is working fine if iam doing in my system nd when iam trying to
access theis application from someother system in our office which are connected through lan
iam getting an error called 500 i,e internal server error.
Why it is so???????

Unfortunately I do not have file object but have complete file path.
is it possible to upload a file without showing a file selection dialog or without doing drag/drop.?

If you have a file path, you can read file like Base64 string:
var fileStr = window.cep.fs.readFile(filePath, window.cep.encoding.Base64).data;
then you can send this Base64 string to server. I'm using xmlhttpReguest for sending data to server (i'm using JSON format).
And save file on server (Base64 string).

Hi experts,
I am going to create a conversion program using call function 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION'.In my conversion I am going to upload per_area,emp_subgroup,payroll_area,work contract and orgn_key for the infotype IT0001 and the input file is from application server.I am using check boxes for these 5 fields and for the fields I am selecting the checkbox.I want to upload the datas in the IT0001 using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION.That is using the call transaction function.Its urgent give me some ideas or codings for that infotype updating.

How do upload a site to a server and make it work

i designed a site using dreamweaver cs3 and uploaded it to a remote server, but when i tried to test it i couldnt see the flash elements i had embeded this happens with pictures too. is there anyone who can help me?

So, what you are saying is that when you view your site locally in the browser everything is looking and working as expected, but when you upload the site then view it in the browser on the web images and flash elements are not showing up, correct?
What are yopu seeing? Is there a little red x for your images? Do you have a URL we can look at?
It is possible that Dreamweaver didn't upload everything correctly - it does this some times. Did you upload your entire site using an actual FTP program? This is often a good failsafe to be sure everything is there.

How to upload multiple files into a server location at a single time

Hi All,
In my application i need to send multiple files from a particular page into the server location. In this page there will be an option to upload a file and after selecting the file , we will have an option asking if we were interested to send another file. It works just similar to google mail where we can multiple files at the same time. Right now though i had coded the uploading files concept i am facing some problems when trying to upload multiple files. All the files are being appended to a single file but i want them to be placed as different files at the specified location. Plz help me in this regard...

In the above line i am specyfying that the maximum no. of files to be uploaded is 3. So if i upload less than 3 files, the program doesn't work and is not reading the uploaded files. If i upload 3 files it works fine. So please suggest me how to make this work irrespective of the no. of files uploaded using apache commons.

I have an Ipad 4 running IOS7, Wi-Fi only and is connected to my Network.
I have a Windows 2003 Server which has a File Server which holds all my pictures and I would like to know if there is some way I can access the server to upload pictures from my Ipad to the server and download pictures from the server to my Ipad.
If this is possible, can you please give me some direction on how to get the Ipad connected to do this?
