HOW TO upload OF URL ITEM INTO FOLDER programmatically

Does anybody know how to upload URL item into folder
programmatically either using sql command or PL/SQL.
Please help...because I need to upload about 10,000 of URL link
into a folder. Doing this one by one might not practical.

URL item and folder

I Have a folder with a URL Item. The URL is a link to a form developed by Oracle Forms.
I have set my folder as following:
Delete Form (URL Link)
Description: This forms is used to delete projects from the database.
Now, when user clicks on the delete form link, the form should show up in the same folder or portlet. Although i have set the DISPLAY options to LINK THAT DISPLAY ITEM IN FOLDER AREA, the form lunches in the full browser window.
How can i force the URL to lunch in the same folder or portlet.???

How to upload data through excel into ssm

Dear SSM Gurus,
I am new to strategy management ,PAS Model I have created successfully based on requirement given by our business unit.
Business unit (FMCG product dealer) have 5 region , and 2 accounts under which we have multiple stores ,
I have sales data in excel sheet by store monthly(actual & target)
I have created an Link to excel sheet which has following format
Time     Name of the store     sales_act     sales_target
Jan-09     Store1 region 1 account1      290     300
Feb-09     Store1 region 1 account1      320     350
Please suggest how to upload excel data into Actual and traget variables (suggest me IDQL commands).

For loading the data from an excel sheet , using a procedure is very handy.If possible , create a separate procedure for loading the targets. I am giving you a rought transcript of a procedure which loads data from an excel sheet. Please make the appropriate changes where ever necessary :
....Clear all previous selections of dimensions and variables
clear status
...Set period range for the data to be loaded
set period 2009
....Selecting dimensions and variables for data mapping
SET DATE DMY
select dim STORE input
....Select the variables to be loaded
select var sales_act
....Set across and down layout to match source data layout

Please check if the data loads properly at the input level. If this is successful , then we can consolidate the data and then you can get the data at other levels as well.

You can the fisrt item in a block by using GET_BLOCK_PROPERTY('BLOCKNAME', FIRST_ITEM);
then loop over the item

How to upload an XML file into another system

Hi friends,
I have a requirement where I need to upload an XML file into one system
which has been downloaded using another system.
I have tried using the method ' cl_gui_frontend_services=>gui_upload'
to upload the file but it is going for dump.
I have used the method ' w_xml->import_from_file' also,
but it is also going for dump ,because both methods are using the same FM
' GUI_UPLOAD'.
Can any one suggest on this.

1. Basically you simply have to convert the XML file into the proper IDoc format. There are many ways to achieve this. One solution would be to convert it externally to SAP, e.g. via VB Script or with an XSLT transformation. Or you use the built in SAP functions for importing an IDoc from an XML stream.
2. Uploading a file is either done via GUI_UPLOAD or via the usual way of reading a file from the application server (Open dataset. Read dataset) But what do you mean by "send to external system"? Do you want to convert an IDoc into XML? Then you simply define an XML port with WE21 to send the IDoc out.
Here is an example of code that loads an XML from file and posts it as an IDoc. Please keep in mind that the XML has to be in its canonical format as described in the interface repository: ifr.sap.com (choose the template of the desired IDoc from there as an example).

Our requirement is to upload a rtf file into table in database.
Later that rtf is used to generate a report.
Is it possible to upload the file directly into a table by using SQL developer?
our requirement is to upload the files without placing them in a particular path in unix box.

I guess It'll get stored in apps.XDO_LOBS table, in FILE_DATA Column

Mode(Export/Import) : Import.
Give the file name from which you want to upload and execute it.
