How to upload photos to Macbook?

I'm a tad embarrassed asking this...
...I'm at a college program (I'm in high school) and I usually use my desktop computer for anything. I transferred everything on there on my laptop, and I had to delete a lot of stuff to actually make room. But as I got here and started saving docs, it said I had to delete stuff to actually have the computer keep working.
So I deleted all of the applications I don't need as a bare necessity.
...along with iPhoto.
...and Image Capture.
And now I really want to just upload these frickin' pictures off of my camera to my computer! Any application I can download?

I would suggest either reinstalling iPhoto or reinstall Image Capture.
Image Capture is a 1 MB program. That is tiny. Go to your other computer (Or a friend's Mac or a school Mac) and copy image capture onto a thumb drive, CD, etc. or just email it to yourself and then put it in the Applications folder on your Macbook.
If you are running so low on hard drive space that you are deleting programs (which take up relatively little space compared to the files we put on our computers like pictures, movies, music, etc.) then you might want to consider an external hard drive. They are relatively inexpensive and you can keep your files on there, rather than filling up your computer.
For best performance and to avoid many other issues, its a good idea to keep 10-20 GB free on your computer at all times. Anything less than 10 and performance can be impacted.
