Depends a lot on the process being used in the printing.
If the design is to be printed digitally or with 4CP silk screen, Photoshop is the better tool. Just be aware of the limits of the color space (gamut) available for output.
If the design is to be printed as a series of silk screen spot colors, then Illustrator is the better tool. Load (File->Place) your image. Then convert to vector (either use Live Trace or do it by hand...depends), then work from there.

Well I guess if you wish to retain that architecture, i.e. HTMLDB on one machine and your data on another, you will have to establish database links to access the data. Oracle documentation will describe how to achieve that.

How to use an existing data model using Business Components in OEPE

I am a beginner in ADF. I am working on a project with an existing data model that uses Business Components (EO, VO and AM). I know that OEPE does not handle the creation of BC, so if I want to modify them, I will have to do that in JDev. That's fine.
OEPE can create pages with drag and drop like in JDev. In my eclipse ADF projects, I would like to use the existing BC, to be able to use the bindings with ADF Faces. So far I have nothing in the Data Controls tab.
How to import the BC into the Data Controls tab?

How to use an existing remote database instance?

Hi,
is it possible to use an existing remote database instance for installation of Solution Manager?
Our dba has setup an empty database instance on a hpux oracle cluster for me and I don´t know how to tell the SAPinst during the installation of the distributed system that it should use this existing database.
Or is it mandatory to run the installation on the host where the database should resides and then create a new instance?

IaaS SQL/VM - how to use an existing SQL VM

I have a Cloud Service with a Window Web VM and SQL VM. They both are on the same Vnet. Now I want to add a DB using the existing SQL VM. But this VM does not show up of the Server drop down menu in "Specify Database setting"
wizard. What am I missing here?
If I let the DB Wizard add a new server (leveraging PaaS offer for SQL DB), how can I make sure that this new server shows up on my Vnet (the same one where I have Web VM on)? I assume that these VMs needs to be on the same Vnet to be able to communicate
with each other.

Hello,
It seems that you had mix up Windows Azure SQL database with SQL Server on Azure VM. When you create a SQL Server virtual machine in Azure, it similar to on-premises SQL Server installed on VM. You can create and manage databases with SSMS.
If you create a SQL database on Management Portal, the SQL database server host a VM of the datacenter, you cannot using the existing SQL Server VM which your created yourself.
When connect to the SQL database from your azure VM which hosted on Cloud Service, there is no need to create a virtual network, just configure the firewall rule of the SQL database server to allow connection from Windows
Azure Serivces.

How to use a existing Business Service in IDoc-File Scenario

Hi Experts,
I am new to XI.
I am working on a IDoc to File scenario where in i am importing the CREMAS.CREMAS03 IDoc from the R/3 System.
When i try to create a Business Service in Configuration Scenario Object in Integartion Directory, i get a message saying "SAP system ID ER1 and client 800 already exist in service | CLNT800ER1".
Can i reuse this Business Servie in my Configuration Object?
If yes, can you please guide me How to go about it?

U may directly use it.
Just select the business service wherever required. It is not necessary that the Business Service is present in ur configuration scenario. But if u still want it, u may add it using "Add to Scenario" option from other configuration scenario or from Objects tab

How to use XQuery Exist() Function on a SSIS XML file

I have a Package Inventory table that has an XML Column named CurrentPackageXML. This XML column contains the SSIS Package XML. I need to use the XQuery Exist() function to determine if the
errorRowDisposition="IgnoreFailure" exists.
Below I have a basic SQL statement, but I have no idea how to write the Correct XQuery Expression. In my example below, I just tried to see if the DTS:Name Property existed, but that XQuery Expression is invalid also. It is not what I need in the end, but
I was just trying to get anything to work.
Below my SQL, I have included a snip-it of the SSIS package XML where I can find the errorRowDisposition. It is to the far right, so you may have to scroll to the right to see it. I bolded the text so it is easier to find.
Finally, once I have got a SQL statement that checks if errorRowDisposition exists = False, I need to check for every occurrence of errorRowDisposition exists = False.
Would there be an easier way to do this by converting the XML to a varchar(max) then searching for all instances of errorRowDisposition exists = False?

How to use "imgPlot" to draw on a control of VC++??

Detail of yesterday question----
I want to show a image on a static picture control on dialog by vc++, the function I used was a NI-IMAQ "imgPlot" to draw image on the control, beacuse it is easier and faster with capture card.

I get the control's HWND by GetSafeHWnd() to set the first paprameter and set the second parameter with a buffer pointer, since I just want to test, so buffer data is not obtained by capture card, but from a file. No image display on the control, no errors display either, why?

That sample program works well, but it is a windows program, not a MFC VC++ program. In my program I use MFC as above, but it can not work. I debug my program, I think datas are in the buffer. I think even there are no datas in buffer, there should be some displays on the static control, but nothing displayed, just every contro
l on the dialog including button,etc, is lost for a while then re-appear again.

Say "view1", "view2" are embeded in "window1". Now create a new window "window2" and embed the existing view "view1" into "window2". Now show the "window2" as a popup when a button in "view2" is pressed. I am using the following code

My subquery inside the where exists just brings the date for current month,so i want to limit my whole data only for current month,but if i run the whole query it returns me all the data i have in my staging table.

You need to correlate the subquery with the outer query, like in this example:

That is, show me all customers who have placed at least one order.
I can't give an example with your queries, because I don't know how they are structured.

All the documentation say to Create certificate Request and subsequently import the Certificate response from a CA.
In our case, the company has a certificate from a valid CA root and we would like to use this when creating the SSL PSE files, in particular, the SSL Server PSE.
Should I use sapgenpse instead of strust??
What are the steps to apply the certificate (www.company.com.au) to this instance (host.dom.internal)??????

How to make an existing drawing fit to its page scale

I made a draw in visio 2010 and after finishing it, I noticed that it was longer than the height of A4. I'd like my draw to be split to seperated parts, so each part of them won't exceed the size of A4. Is it possible?
I pressed in the Design tab on size and set it to A4 but nothing happened, my draw size hasn't been changed.

Visio will do nothing to stop you from drawing off-page. Visio 2010 will actively increase the drawng page for you, unless to turn it off. All Word has to do is to flow text from one page to another. Visio is a totally different kettle of fish, it cannot
automatically flow your diagrams to a new printing page.
Limit each drawing page to whatever size you want i.e. A4, If the diagram starts to go over A4 then create a new page and draw on that.

Hi friends, I have the hierarchy 0SALES_OFF (Sales Office)
The levels in this Hierarchy are ZZONE, 0SALES_ORG, 0SALES_DIST, 0SALES_OFF
Now, i want this hierarchy to be extended to one more level that is 0CUSTOMER at the bottom.
Also 0SALES_OFF is an attribute of 0CUSTOMER.
We have to give the 0SALES_OFF Hierarchy to the 0CUSTOMER so that it will be like

Unfortunately you have 2 options only:-)
- Either maintain it Manually through RSH1
- Maintain your Hierarchy in a Flat File and load your hierarchy through Flat File. This option may be easier if you maintain an Excel file for the hierarchy and generate a CSV file out of it to load it as a Flat File. Only difficulty you might face is to follow the format. You can download your existing hierarchy on a Flat File, modify it and reload it. Check the following link
