How to use a slice in an autoshape?

Am stuck with a problem related to the tabs autoshape.
Current implementation of the Tabs autoshape just helps to add a new or delete an old tab or alter its hue.
My application needs to have links to other pages associated to the Tabs autoshape.
Tried converting them to button symbol after the shape has been created. It made me lose the control points.
Is there a way to have a slice associated to an autoshape so that it may be used as an href with the control points intact?
Am working on Fireworks version 10.0.0.495, Win XP

You need to draw slices over the tabs, export the tabs as images, and then build your navbar in Dreamweaver.

How do I USE the slices I generate in Illustrator from "Save for Web"?

I am having trouble understanding slices. I want to save a raster graphic from Illustrator that takes advantage of "slices" to put hyperlinks to certain labels. I am working on a map with about 20 links to a website describing recreation sites shown on the map.
I am able to do this by bringing my map as a graphic into InDesign, and setting up links to text or picture boxes there. I can export an interactive PDF of the map, and the PDF has live links.
but the client's web host can't post the PDF with active links. (client would have to link from a static image to a copy of the PDF on a separate website). We may do this as an interim measure.
So I'd like to go back and figure out how to use slices in Illustrator to do the same thing. I've seen web pages that have a series of sliced-up graphics; I wouldn't wish that on anyone but it's the solution I want to get to.
Illustrator tutorials and help describe how to set up slices, how to type in links in the "slice options" dialogue box (in objects/slices... pulldown menu). And describe how to "save for web" to generate JPEGs or GIFs of the individual slices.
My available options in AI CC 2014 (I checked in CS6 too) are to save the slices as images. (Helpful articles which say to save as HTML and Images...aren't helpful if I don't have that option).
I get a folder called images, that contains about 74 sliced JPEGs of various sizes and shapes. I don't see, nor see an option where I can ask to make...a file that pulls all these together into a single image, with clickable links. There's no HTML file (or way to create one that I can see).
What am I missing? What application would I use to toss this folder's contents together. Or how would I create the HTML or envelope file within Illustrator?
I have entered URLs for links in three or four different places but haven't found a way to export them in such a way that they are actually useful.

Thanks, I am a print guy, mostly. I've almost figured out CSS for my did-it-myself website, so buttons, actions, slices, etc. are new angles for me. I am hip to the general concept that Adobe likes certain applications to do certain things. It was certainly easier to set up links from InDesign.
In what application would you suggest I DO foolishly create my interactions (raster graphic with multiple links? Does it work any better in Photoshop? The client's web host does the web design (some sort of template thing) so I don't believe I have the option of drawing hot-spots like is (was?) possible in Dreamweaver.
(That may be a question for the web host).
One of the problems with "discontinuing this functionality" is there are about half a dozen how-to guides online that suggest it is still possible to kluge a solution in AI (sometimes in older versions) and it's hard to tell well-executed funtionality from abandoned functionality since Adobe hides instructions in multiple, random dialogue boxes, and left so many of the pieces strewn about the current versions of AI.... How would we really know? But I am not all that surprised they did.

when I click on a simple black circle it changes to a red color. And when I click the red circle it changes back to the black circle. I am using Web Slice Tool.How do I do that..???

You must use slices or hotspots but you need more than one fireworks behaviors to take place at the same spot which i think cannot be achieved. You may use a slice for a mouse over swap behavior, but where are you going to place another slice or hotspot to get back to your first state? You can place a hotspot on a slice, but is not solving this cause slices and hotspots appear in every state.Maybe someone else has figured out a way to do it.

How do I reuse slices in multiple files?

How can I save slices (referring to the lines and the dimensions - NOT the cut out images) from one PSD and import them into another PSD?
I have 2 files (and will have more) with the same dimensions but similar artwork. I have created the slices in the first doc (master) and I want to bring all the slices (lines) over to the new file. I have seen other posts where you copy the layers from the second file into the master PSD (using SHIFT) but I'd think there would be a better way of doing this.

I suspected it might be possible to evaluate the Slices info with a Script and recreate it in another document, but unless some changes have been implemented it seems the issue would be a fairly complicated one:

How to use DSP48E Multipliers ? (FPGA)

I'm currently trying to implement a high speed gauss function generator on a PXI-7841R. I need several fast multipliers to calculate the exponent, so I would like to make use of the DSP48E slices. I have limited the operands to less than 18 and 25 bits, but it seems like the DSP-slices are not used in any case. I have several integer and fixed-point-multipliers in my VI, but the compilation report only states 3 used DSP-slices. Can anybody tell how to make Labview using them. Thank.

I am still playing around with the code but here is an update.
I compiled the code you provided.
I have experienced this issue as well with the XST reporting. It does recognize using multipliers as show here:

However, the final report doesn't show the multipliers being located within a DSP48 slice but they are, if they weren't it would take a stupid amount of fabric to implement them.
The multiply by (-1) constant is being replaced by logic, should be a negate anyways, that is why only 2 multipliers are being utilized instead of 3 as expected from the high level diagram.

Can't figure out how to use home sharing

Since the latest couple iTunes updates, my family and I can not figure out how to use home sharing. Everyone in our household has their own iTunes, and for a long time we would just share our music through home sharing. But with the updates, so much has changed that we can no longer figure out how to use it.
I have a lot of purchased albums on another laptop in the house, that im trying to move it all over to my own iTunes, and I have spent a long time searching the internet, and everything. And I just can't figure out how to do it. So.... how does it work now? I would really like to get these albums from my moms iTunes, onto mine. I would hate to have to buy them all over again.

The problem im having is that after I am in another library through home sharing, I can't figure out how to select an album and import it to my library. They used to have it set up so that you just highlight all of the songs you want, and then all you had to do was click import. Now I don't even see an import button, or anything else like it. So im lost... I don't know if it's something im doing wrong, or if our home sharing system just isn't working properly.

"Query 'ABC' is already open in another session."
where 'ABC' is the query name.
Can you please tell me how to use the same POWL query for multiple users ?

Batch processing usually involves using actions you have recorded. In Action you can insert Path that can be used during processing documents. Path have some size so you may want to only process document that have the same size. Look in the Actions Palette fly-out menu for insert path. It inserts|records the current document work path into the action being worked on and when the action is played it inserts the path into the document as the current work path..

I bought the AirPort Time Capsule to back up my MBP
And so i did.
then i thought "let give this one a fresh start" so i erased all of it with the disk utility and re-installed the MBP from the recovery disk.
I dont want all of the stuff i backed up just a few files and some pictures so i brought that back.. so far so good.
Now i want to do a new back up of my MBP so i open time machine settings, pick the drive on the time capsule and then "Choose" i wait for the beck up to begin, and then it fails. It says (sorry for my bad english, im swedish haha) "the mount /Volume/Data-1/StiflersMBP.sparsebundle is already in use for back up.
this is what i want:
i want the "StiflersMBP.sparsebundle" to just be so i can get some stuf when i need them. it's never to be erased.
i want to make a new back up of my MBP as if it's a second computer...
so guys and girls, what is the easiest and best solution?

If you want files to use later.. do not use TM.
Or do not use TM to the same location. Plug a USB drive into the computer and use that as the target for the permanent backup.

I use ABAP-XSL mapping to insert records in Oracle table. My Sender is File and receiver is JDBC. We use Oracle 10g database. All fields in table are VARCHAR2 except one field; this is having type 'DATE'.
I use Stored procedure to update the records in table. I have converted my string into date using the Oracle TO_DATE function. But, when I use this format, it throws an error in the Receiver CC. (But, the message is processed successfully in SXMB_MONI).
The input format I formed like below:
<X_EMP_START_DT hasQuot="No" isInput="1" type="DATE">
Value in Payload is like below.
<X_EMP_START_DT hasQuot="No" isInput="1" type="DATE">TO_DATE('18-11-1991','DD-MM-YYYY')</X_EMP_START_DT>

in my Abap XSL. But, its not working correctly. The problem is 'href' function to import "date.xsl" in my XSLT is not able to do that. The system throws an error. Moreover, it is not able to write the command 'extension-element-prefixes' in my <xsl:stylesheet namespace>
May be I am not able to understand how to use this.
Anyway, I solved this problem by handling date conversion inside Oracle Stored Procedure. Now, its working fine.

First of all one sender mail adapter has to be tight with a specific sender email address.
The email has to be decrypted as whole, you cannot decrypt parts of it.
Then you store certificates to secure store in J2EE server and point to it in send agreement, this should be equal to HTTPS setup
