How to use Apple mpeg2 plugin (20$) + Streamclip (free)

I have Apple mpeg2 plugin + Streamclip on my computer, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to use the two to open my DVD in imovie!

Ooops! I had a copy of QTKirk's explanation positioned under the Apple link (didn't notice the source!), and thought that both were connected. Here's his explanation:
"Read the FAQ page so you understand completely before you buy.
Install this new software [Apple MPEG2 Playback] and quit and relaunch QT Player (if running).
Open QT Player and then insert your DVD. Quit DVD Player if it starts.
From the "File" menu of the QuickTime Player choose "Open File". Navigate to the DVD and its VIDEO_TS folder and click OK. Your file should now be playing in QuickTIme Player.
QuickTIme Pro can't edit or export this file with audio. It can't be imported into iMovie until it is converted.
Download and install MPEG Streamclip (free).
Open MPEG Streamclip, navigate to your DVD and choose the VIDEO_TS folder. Click OK and it will open in Streamclip.
Choose "Export" and pick DV Stream. Wait for the conversion to finish. It will make a new file (you name it).
Open iMovie and "Import" this new .dv file and make your edits, etc. "

I have started to develop a plugin for Acrobat 8.0 that will add some kind of 3d-content to an existing model. I tried somewhat, but I face the problem that I can't find out how to use the plugin in Acrobat with Javascript. I added the .api file in the folder Acrobat/Plugins and the plugin is loaded.
But I can't find out how to use the methods of the plugin. I always get the error: 'can't found [methodname]'. Do you need to use some kind of prefix, or whatever. Perhaps this is a newbie question, but I can't find out it in the documentation.
Any help will be fine!

That's right. You can't.

You cannot use the methods of a plug-in. They are for its own internal
use.
A plug-in registers for call backs. Most obviously menu selections,
but also selecting a tool, clicking on a button, opening a document,
changing page etc. Also it can register an "idle" procedure to be run
when Acrobat is not busy, at intervals. Your plug-in code is run, by
Acrobat, at these moments.

I need informations about how to use plugins with FCP.
I do edit mostly classical concerts. I'd like to do basic audio post prod, without swaping between Soundtrack and FCP.
I need two simple things : add reverb (the built in reverb is really bad), and enhancer. So I looked for specialised third party audio plugins, but I couldn't manage to find something that work for me...
- Do FCP support VST plugins ? How to install them ?
- I tried a few audio units plugins. It works, but I couldn't get a friendly visual interface, like VST effects racks. Is it possible in FCP ?
- does anybody know a good reverb plugin with a friendly interface compatible with FCP ?

What you NEED is a better recordist at the concert, someone who understands the peculiarities of your specific video deliver plans.
Soundtrack Pro is right up there with Motion in its impossible-to-understand interface paradigm shift away from industry standard tools. However, if you are in the position of being a sound editor, you must find a tool that works for you. STP might not be the one, certainly isn't for me. You could always try Logic. Yeah, good luck with THAT.

AirPrint - how to use Apple's AirPrint solution on HP ePrint Printers

Went thru all 8 pages of this topic--didn't see the answers to my questions.
I'm really very frustrated at this point.
I have an LF Pro 1536dnf MFP. All the docs I can find say it is AirPrint capable, as long as the iOS device and the printer are on the same wireless network. The printer's connection to my PC is via a USB cable. It is never explained anywhere how to connect a non-wireless-capable printer to a wireless network.
Assuming that "magic" is not the answer, I downloaded and installed the AirPrint service from the javox website referenced other places on this website, only to find that the installation instructions on *that* web site don't work with iOS 5 devices--my iPhone never saw any AirPrint printers. I found installation instructions that *do* work with iOS 5 devices but now my printers show up as "locked." I can't print to them. I've found various other workarounds for that (enable the guest account, enable the administrators account, have the service log in as a existing user) but none of them work for me; either no AirPrint printers show up on my iPhone or they show up but they have a locked icon and I can't access them.
At this point, I don't know what's supported and what isn't. I'm assuming that the AirPrint service is what I'm supposed to use to make my printer visible to my phone. Is that true? If not, what AM I supposed to use? And if that IS what I'm supposed to use, why doesn't it work?
I've seen it suggested here that the router may be the problem, so I'll say my router is ISP-supplied (free, so I really can't complain about the cost ;-); it is a Netgear N150 Wireless Router WNR1000. I'm pretty sure it and BonJour are getting along okay because when I tried FingerPrint to print to my printers from iPhone it found them all (but no joy, it still wouldn't print to them--it said it was printing but the printers never printed anything. For completeness here, I never let any job in the Print Center time out, so maybe eventually something would have printed, but I thought 5 minutes was long enough to wait. But only the *printers* didn't work with FingerPrint--items sent to "Open on my PC" opened on my PC).
Hopefully I've given enough (and not too much) detail and also hopefully, the tone of this post doesn't reflect the tremendous amount of frustration I feel at this point.

In your setup you should connect the LJ Pro 1536dnf MFP via an ethernet cable to your router. Ideally that is all of the setup you need for AirPrint.
If that doesn't work then we need to figure out why the router is blocking traffic.
You don't want to use the AirPrint Service from javox. That service is Apple beta software that was never released.
