How to use Applicant Hire in Manager Self-Service

Hello,
I was trying to use the Manager Self-Service -> Applicant Hire function.
I created a requisition in Core Apps using the Business Group Name HR Set Up -> Recruitment - > Requisition and Vacancy form.
I then created a vacancy against the requisition.
I then created a applicant against that vacancy.
I then went into the Self Service function Applicant Hire from the Manager Self-Service responsibility and tried searching by applicant no, last etc. But no results came up.
Any idea why the applicant is not comping up in the search ?
Thanks,
Debojyoty

  • Manager Self Service MSS EHP5 in Webdynpro ABAP?

Hi All, I have one question. According with the different documents and the OSS Note 1450179 - ESS Based on Web Dynpro ABAP Available as of EHP5 we know that now is possible to use another portal different than SAP portal in order to use the ESS. Right?
But .. what about the MSS?  I can´t find info about if the MSS is WEBdynpro ABAP enabled or not.  Is it possible to use the MSS with another portal (Websphere) ?
Or is the MSS only for WebDynpro JAVA so that means SAP portal?
Thanks in advance and best regards...

Thanks Siddharth for your quick reply, but I still have doubts.
According to Note 1588625 - Release information for Manager Self-Services Add-On 1.0, the MSS addon will be release for Portal and NWBC , so if you don´t want to use a porta you can use NWBC but,
How can we call it from a Websphere portal?  Is there any integration option using NWBC and Websphere portal?
And in Note 1582553 - Release strategy for the ABAP add-on EA-HR_MSS you can see that now, the availability of EA-HR_MSS is only in controlled availability, and until end of 2011 will not be fully released!!
    SAP Release     Add-On Release     Availability
    SAP ECC 6.0 EHP5      EA-HR_MSS 1.0     22.06.2011 CA
    SAP ECC 6.0 EHP5      EA-HR_MSS 1.0     22.12.2011 GA
    GA: general availability
    CA: controlled availability
    PL: pilot version
So, really you can use MSS integrated in a Websphere portal?
Thanks in advance and best regards.

  • Time/LEave approval in Business Package for Manager Self-Service 60.1

    Hi all,
Currently implementing ESS MSS on 4.7 system with EP 6.0 SP19.
The BP we plan to use is Business Package for Manager Self-Service 60.1.
My basic question is, we approve leave requests in BP for my SAP ERP (2004s) in the Universal worklist. How do we do the same in  Business Package for Manager Self-Service 60.1. There i sno mention on time approval and leave requests approval in the MSS standard documentation ( or probably i missed it).
Any inputs in this regards are highly appreciated.
    regards
    Sam

    Balaji,
in mySAP we had the opition to lauunch the applications in web dynpro. like launch leave approval in web dynpro. do we have this kind of optiion where the manager can approve the work item on the portal application or will it call a transaction based iview to open the work item in the R/3
    regards

  • Error when copying the folder Manager Self-Service in the portal

    Good Night.
I am implementing  Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service
For ESS i did  the following:
    1. I  created a new folder for my project.
    2. I copied  Employee Self-Service folder from the standard part into my folder.
    3. I deleted the pages and worksets that not needed
    4. I did the config in the backend and put the pcd in the backend config for it to be displaying the content.
And for MSS I wanted to do the same steps:
But the system display the following message of error:
    Error
Source object not found. It may have been deleted.
    [Error|http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/0524ec1cc5.jpg]
The steps that i did are:
    Portal Content==>Content Provided by SAP==>line_manager=>Right Click -->Copy.
And in the new folder --> Right Click -->Paste.
    How can solve this issue?
    Kind Regards

  • Urgent Help required on Manager Self Service HR AME Rules

    Hi,
I am implementing R12 Manager Self Service and creating custom AME rules for routing approvals. Can anyone tell me the steps to create rule for:
    1. Change Job in job KFF (What query? Which attribute?)
    2. Change Job Title (ass_attribute2 under assignment DFF)
    3. Change in Organization field
Also, I have created rule for Leave of Absence. But upon approval, employee's status still showing active for that duration. How to link it with absence approval? This is standalone HR with no Oracle Payroll.
This is very urgent so any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,

Can u please elaborate your leave of Absence requirement

  • Integrating Manager Self-Services(MSS), Employee Self-Services(ESS) in EP60

    Hi,
I would like to integrate Manager Self-Services(MSS) and Employee Self-Services(ESS) into my Enterprise Portal EP6.0 SP2.
I have downloaded the business packages for the same and looking for a good document which can guide me to implement the integration.
Any quick response would be highly appreciated.

    Hi,
the "connection" between iView and R3 System is done via the system definition. The ESS - iViews use a System alias SAP_R3_Human_Resources (and the other names I mentioned above).
If you have assigned this ESS role to a user the iView connects to the R3 system defined in the alias. If you chose single sign on the user id from the portal should be the same as in the R3. If it is different the easiest way would be to use usermapping.
The best way would be to assign this ESS role to your user and watch what is happening.
    Regards,
    Holger.

  • Standard Organizational Chart in Manager Self-Service

    Hi,
In the BP for Manager Self-Service, the standard Organizational Chart Tester iView, displays an XML of the Organizational Details. We currently dont have any third party vendor application integrated. In the std Tester iView with the std. configurations in place, is there a possibility to see the Organisational Chart or do we only to get to see the XML and a third party application integration is needed to view the chart.
We just have the default values for all the iVIews, Integration Scenario as 3, XML Tester iView Type is now DEFAULT, though I did change it to JNET (the Std. Tester iView was blank then).
Please let me know on this.
    Thanks,
    Bala

    hi
    yes
it is the only viable way to go with , if u decide to develop ur own solution , it will take a longer time to develop the same ,
i had attempted it , but we had used our own custom made xml output.
to share with you it took 8 months of development time , but with no certain acceptable output .

  • View Employe Element Entries  via Manager Self Service

    Hi all,
Hope you can help me with this.
I'm working on HRMS version 12.
Try to show our users the manager self service module.
I cant find there the employee's element entries.
I can find almost all employees details & salaries in the different function, but the elements are gone...
Can anyone try to help to find the elements entries in Manager Self Service ?
    Thanks.
    Yaniv

Additionally, if you have an Advanced Benefits licence and are using the ICD (Independent Compensation Distribution) page to allocate awards (which create element entries) you can use the View History page of that to show elements linked to Standard Rates.

    Hi,
Can someone explain how to use WebCenter 11g Web 2.0 Services in WebCenter Interaction 10gR3. I have installed Webcenter 11g Spaces. I also have Webcenter Interaction 10gR3 installed. Wanted to find out how can I make use of 11g web 2.0 services i.e. wiki, blog, discussions etc. in WCI 10gR3. How can I configure those services in 10gR3.
As reading oracle notes it says there is a seemless integration of Web 2.0 11g Services in WCI 10gR3 but can't find any steps, tutorials or examples on how to do that. Any help is appreciated.

  • Disabling Action Button for only manager in Manager Self Service

         Hi people,
I have a requirement in SSHR. I created one SIT for training assessment and added this function to Manager Self Service. So, if a manager logs into the system and clicks this function, he will be able to see the subordinates reporting to him. He can choose Action button against any of them to fill the assessment form. But the Action button is also visible against the manager name. My client Wants the Action button to be hided for Manager (as manager should not be allowed to fill his own form) and only wants action button to visible for subordinates reporting to him. Is there any way to achieve this through any profile option or personalisation
    Thanks

    Hi,
I am not sure if it is possible through personalization please, give a try.. If this doesnt work I think you can go for user hook and put validation like if selected person is same as initiator then throw an error.
    Thanks,
    Avinash
