How to use CREATE_FOLDER_FORM service?

Hi everyone...
i know how to use the checkinuniversal service to create documents and set them in a specific folder.. but what can i do if i need to create "folders"??? i saw in the api that there is a service (CREATE_FOLDER), but in wich wsdl is it??? or if i try to use it throw the url (ex. http://server/idc/idcplg?IdcService=CREATE_FOLDER_FORM), how can i invoke it...because it says that there is not and existing service

forget it hehe, problem solved... just in case that someone wants to know.. to create "folders", the service is "add_collection"...
ex.

How to use web services in Excelsius 2008

I am new to this tool. I have trial version on excelsius 2008 and i would like to build a dashboard that should query our corporate database (in oracle). I think web services is a option to do it. Any samples available?.Please help me

For you question you want to get data from data base using web service connection. Here I can give you some suggestions
1.Write a web service to retrieve data from data base, then use Xcelsius u201Cweb service connectionu201D under u201CManage Connectionu201D section to consume the service and get the data from data base to spread sheet.
2.Xcelsius also provide you a tool to generate web service with easy way (without coding). (Suggested)

How i use Enterprise Services?

Hello @ll experts,
i hope that is the right Forum-Category.
I don't find any description, how is use Enterprise Services with SAP PI for my IT-Scenario.
Actual situation:
I import the XI-Content (there is the Service Interface to use for the ES) in the Enterprise Service Repository (SAP PI 7.1), copied the Service Interfaces and all dependence Objects in my own Software-Compoment.
My Question:
What i should doing to config in my sap ERP ECC 6.0 with the Enterprise Service to connect with SAP PI 7.1?
Maybe ABAP-Proxies?

Hello,
Once you build Service Interface in PI, you need to generate PROXY in back end ERP system using SPROXY. After that you need to implement the Proxy Class Method by writing glue code using SE80. How to use web service consumer as a source to connect to Salesforce?

I see a lot of articles and mapping xmls on how to use web service consumer but as a newbie I am not able to view the object schema from my salesforce enterprise WSDL after importing it in Informatica designer as a source. My enterprise wsdl has operations like create, retrieve, upsert, delete etc so if I want to read data from account then could someone guide me on how to use the web service consumer to view the fields after importing the wsdl. After importing the wsdl and selecting the operation say create, the columns (ports) displayed shows different groups but it doesn't list the object fields? what am I missing here? And what is the operation to read data from Salesforce is it "retrieve" from the entripse wsdl? As a newbie on this, I appreciate any inputs on this topic.

How to Use Mobile Service in HTML/JavaScript Application

The Windows Azure Mobile Service is a back end tool for mobile applications. It supports various platforms, such as Windows Store, Windows Phone 8, iOS and Android. The Windows Azure
Mobile service can also support HTML/JavaScript. This article helps you to get a basic idea of how to use the Windows Azure Mobile Service in HTML/JavaScript applications.
Let us start with a Quick startup project provided by Microsoft. A Quick startup is a simple demo project that can help us to understand how to use the Windows Azure Mobile Service with HTML/JavaScript. So let's start from the Quick startup project.
Login into in the Windows Azure portal and use the following procedure.
This article assumes you already have a Windows Azure account and the mobile service is enabled in your account.
1. Create a new Windows Azure Mobile Service
Click on the +New button from the left corner and select Compute -> Mobile Service and then click on the "Create" button.
The Windows Azure portal popup creates a mobile service wizard when you click the Create button. Windows Azure asks you to enter the mobile service name as shown in the following image:
Select the database options and region for your mobile service and click on the "Next" button.
Once your mobile service is successfully created, the portal will show all your mobile services as shown in the following images.
Ok! We have created a new mobile service successfully. Let's move to our subsequent steps.
1. Quick startup Project
As we all know, the Windows Azure Mobile Service can support many platforms such as Windows Store, Windows Phone 8, iOS, Android and HTML/JavaScript. This article only tells us about the new HTML/JavaScript platform that is recently added to the Windows Azure
Mobile Service.
In the image above, we are in the quick startup page where the Windows Azure Mobile Service allows the user to choose their platform. I have selected the HTML/JavaScript Platform.

Enter the Item name and click on the add button. Your Item will be added to the TodoItem table.
3. Configure your host name: This step is a very important step for any HTML/JavaScript application that uses the Windows Azure Mobile Service. In this <g class="gr_ gr_83 gr-alert gr_gramm Punctuation only-ins
replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="83" id="83">step</g> the user must register their website name in the Cross-origin resource sharing (CORS). By default, "localhost" is added by the Windows Azure Mobile Service
so your quick startup project can run without making any CORS setting changes. The user can add their website domain name by clicking on the configure tab (menu).
The user can add as many website domain names as needed.

How to use web services in JSF app

I am unsure if this is the right forum for this question. Let me know if it is not - and where I should go.
Anyways, I'm building a JSF web app, in which there is a datatable page displaying some business data. The app is going to be deployed and run in the customer's web server, but the data to be displayed is from the business solution provider's database. Currently the provider supplies web services to retrieve the data. So, my task is to call these web services from my JSF page, get and display the data.
I've never used web services before. Can someone give me a quick start, as what I need to know to use these web services, and how to use them in coding terms. I googled the web quite a bit and finally decided to turn to SDN forum.

Link provided for mySAP ERP Enterprise Service Package ECC-SE 600, does not work. My company is SAP customer and I am SDN member.
Do I need some special login or membership to download ES packages?
I also understand that I can access the Enterprise Service from the ES Workplace (implementation) and for that I have to Apply For an Account. I applied for an account at this link https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/esareg .
After applying for an Account should be getting an email with user Id/password OR I can use the my Service Market Place ID?
Tried entering the my service market place Id, does not work.

We would like to use SAP Enterprise Services as a evaluation by .NET application.
We do not have SAP NetWeaver PI and CE now.
Without ESR (PI and CE) , how do I configure ERP 6.0 to use Enterprise Services?

Hi,
ESR is not compulsory for just consuming service.
First you need to activate and configure webservice.
Step1: Goto transaction SICF and activate service you want to evaluate. You can find ES under path: /default_host/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap/
Step 2:Goto transaction: SOAMANAGER and under tab: Application and Scenario communication chose single service administration. Now search for "Service" pattern: service name you selected and activated in SICF field = Internal name. then go.
Step 3: you will be able to see your service here, now select service and click on apply selection.
Step 4: Under the "configuration" tab select "Create service" button. Give any name to "New Service Name" type some description and finally give any name to "New Service Name" and apply setting.
Step 5: Select authentication type http and save,
Now under tab "Overview" you can see some url for "Open WSDL document for selected binding" use this url in your .Net application.

I am able to find some free small web services on www.xmethods.net but not able to find any tool to use it. It wil be great help is anyone can help about this.

How to use Enterprise Services available in workplace

We have found some Enterprise Services to use for our existed business scenarios in ES Workplace.
My requirement here is: There are some interfaces which are running through websphere from source to destination. Now, we wanted to migrate those interfaces using PI 7.1, for which Can I use SAP provided Enterprise Services in ES Workplace? If so, how can I use those? What is the approach? Is there any process for this?

Hello PM,
It depends on the exact scenario and best fit of usage of ESs. The ESs listed out in the ES workplace are the different functionalities and specific to business scnearios.
So in your case, it is not a good idea to directly use the services available from ES workplace. You need to understand/analyse the exact functionalities etc
wrt your query on how to use ES from ESworkplace: All ESs are coming as EhPs.. so you need to import those EhPs in your SAP backend, and publish the services into ES Registry.. then you can consume without PI.
You can use PI, to have new developments or extending the existing ES using outside in approach. Otherwise PI is not required to execute the ES.

How to use enterprise service (sap esoa)

After some basic acknowledge of SAP ESOA, I have the following puzzles need to be clarified:
1, Whatu2019s the relation of ES with the traditional functions? For example, there are standard ES for sales order processing, ATP check, etc. Can we use traditional function (i.e., t-code: VA01), while using the enterprise service or service operation to do the ATP check, and in SAP GUI environment?
2, How to activate or use a service? It that a must or prerequisite to install enhancement package? What is the least SAP ERP version required, ECC or ECC6.0?
3, As to the vision, can we say the traditional way of SAP module function will as a whole be replaced by enterprise service?
4, Traditionally, we have IMG to configure the sales order type and properties of that. For enterprise service, where can we do the same?
